I don't like FFXIII, please remove the lightning outfit and hairstyle from the mogstation, and from all players inventories. I want no part of that game, I don't want anyone else to either.

Yeah XV suck? We gonna forget how horrible XIV was?
In tearm of FF, I'm pretty sure that only one that remotely feal what XV is going through is XIV, both trash release from that start and both did they best to become amazing even tho they came out bad.
XIV thank you for being a good elder brother to XV and doing a last hand collaboration.

I really enjoyed xv even with all its problems and was looking forward to see where we were heading with season pass 2. Shane we might. It get to see it or it will be truncated into a anime/manga whatever.
Still gonna enjoy the hell out of the crossover and can't wait for episode ardyn to come out. Hopefully xiv and ardyn can give the game a fantastic sendoff. I also wish square will listen and take the failings of xv and learn for future but these days I'm not so sure of that, the trust in square is probably at a all time low for me.

The event is coming, it's likely already finished production. They announced the XV side of the Collab so they can't NOT do the XIV side. I bought the UCE as well and my experience was probably worse than yours since when mine showed up it was MISSING THE GAME. >.< (The game steelcase and disc had not been included in the box. Took me 3 weeks to correct that... Sorry, still a little jaded about that.)

However, the point is that the event is happening and that's not going to change now.

Whoa now, this isn't all that true.

Or have we forgotten that PSO2 got a crossover with us (took our Odin fight), and we got nothing in return from that game..

I think we're due for another crossover on top of FFXV to make up for it..

Tbf you would think this was the actual case with some round here with the amount of "please don't do" "please stop making" threads that we are getting these days. It's like people don't want any content and to just be bored all day.

And yes I'm sure you'd like to scrap Eureka and all events and get that thing you want but that's not happening and this is what we got so suck it up, smile and say thank you for the xmas present like we always do. Who knows maybe you'll actually find the socks comfortable if you just try them on before throwing throwing them out. ... to nobody in particular

I was never FFXV's biggest fan, it was build on the gnarled corpse of Versus XIII and it felt like it, for all the good concepts and ideas, it felt like they fumbled trying to make a cohesive story for a game that was never meant to be FFXV. In spite of all that, I bought the standard edition on release and for all its faults, I had a really good time, I sunk about 80 hrs into it and got the platinum trophy and I can say all in all, I liked it, even it was ultimately a disjointed mess.

Just because FFXV wasn't all that great and had a pretty big kick in the ass recently concerning its new DLC, I think a collab is a good way to introduce some really cool new glamours to the game, not just Noctis and the gangs outfits, I would personally love to see the Kingsglaive uniform and maybe a couple of the weapons. Admittedly, this type of collab feels exceptionally late, they really should have worked out a collab event either for the original release or the PC release, leaving it for so long feels odd to me.

Yes, I agree... even though I still remain sorely disappointed with the game (after waiting ten solid years), I'd still like for some of the armour to be introduced as glamour... and dyeable.

They haven't failed, they just didn't, for reasons we don't know. This collab might well be one of those reasons.

Interesting choice of word... "failed". So because there were no Halloween costumes available this year, I should not trust the Devs to deliver something decent for us?

Not existing =/= not done well. They do try to shake up what's available at each event. Maybe it was a regrettable choice for Halloween, but what's done is done.
