Has Aulus been confirmed dead? It seemed odd for him to have a huge part in the experiments done on Krile, Fordola and Zenos but was killed off by the Warrior of Light rather quickly, and was never mentioned again.

Regarding the lore of the Ascians can we look forward to some wearable ascian gear glamour in in game?
What can you tell us about the happenings in Ishgard after the 3.x series?
While it's been said that it's uncommon for two different races to marry/have a romantic relationship due to cultural differences, how difficult is it for two different races to have children? (I.E. Miqo'te and Hyur or Elezen and Hyur or say Lalafell and Roe.)
Miqo'te question, when do children miqo'te become adults? Some in the community say they age faster than humans so I'd love some clarity on that.
One of the things I liked about the Void Arc storyline was how it was related to Mhach instead of Allag again. Quite honestly it starts to become tiresome how every mistery ends up being an Allagan machine or facility. Can we learn more of the other ancient civilizations and learn their secrets?
Is the Auri Creation Myth going to stay a mystery, or will we eventually discover proof of their origin?
The Lupin area treated very well in Yanxia/Doma, in ways their treatment differs from the Khojin and the Namazu. Are they considered a Beast tribe or of Man?
Are you SURE Alphinaud isn't half Lalafell? The shape of his head is so much larger and rounder than other Elezen, even when accounting for his age.
Let's try comparing Alphinaud to Honoroit, another Elezen who we know is close to Alphinaud's age.
https://i.imgur.com/TFTLNrB.png
If we overlay the two images, we see that Alphinaud and Honoroit were built using similar models. However, Alphinaud's head has much more volume than Honoroit's.
https://i.imgur.com/P0OK0Qx.png
It's possible to argue that this may just be because of Alphinaud's hairstyle. So let's try mapping out a rough shape of the head using a circle.
https://i.imgur.com/va8Gizc.png
If we apply this same shape to Alphinaud's head, there is a huge discrepancy between the volume of his hair and the size of the skull, especially when taking the location of Alphinaud's hair part into account. It's highly unlikely his hair shape could be that round at the top if his head was the same shape as Honoroit's.
https://i.imgur.com/RfjRWfx.png
To prove this further, let's try compairing Alphinaud to an Elezen with the fluffiest hair shape in character creator.
https://i.imgur.com/LMYUxa8.png
To account for the discrepancies between adult and child models, we'll align their eyes as a base point. Even compared to the fluffy haired Elezen, Alphinaud's hair is still marginally taller, but much, much rounder, suggesting his head size is in fact larger than both child and adult Elezen.
https://i.imgur.com/RMmHgPU.png
Likewise, compared to Honoroit, Alphinaud's jawline is wider and rounder, a trait found in Lalafell.
https://i.imgur.com/uSqj5Rb.png
Finally, let's try comparing Alphinaud's head to a Lalafell's.
https://i.imgur.com/n5rl7QI.png
To account for racial differences, we'll once again use the top of the eye as a reference point. When compared to a Lalafell, the top of the head is almost the exact same shape and size!
https://i.imgur.com/qPBEuAl.png
Alphinaud's head shape and size, his round jaw, and his petite stature despite the passage of time in game all suggest that he (and Alisaie) aren't fully Elezen.
Please don't hide the truth of Alphinaud's Lalafellin heritage from us any longer! What is the truth?!
What is Pipin Tarupin's official title and role at this point?
Considering he's a key character (and quite frankly our best representative of a strong lalafell character) who has been given many important scenes showing his growth and that he was promoted Raubahn's position, we gain no further confirmation of what his role truly is in the story. He goes back to Ul'dah and we never see him again. Not even at the grand meeting in Ala Mhigo in 4.4! Raubahn's name is still on the hunt bills and we have a scene upon ranking up for the Immortal Flames that our Marshal is "Flame Marshal River" instead.
Koji, please see image below... what is this area of floating islands called, right above the Garlean capital?
https://i.imgur.com/TGlwr3U.png
Also, see this image as well... since the Garleans don't believe in the Twelve or Godzilla, can you please tell us if this is a massive, city-sized statue of Solus?

In 4.4 story ...
Spoiler
We learned that the object at the house of the crooked coin is actually Allagan technology.
However, this object does not resemble any allagan technology that we've seen so far. Is there any reason why this object seems out of place when compared to technology in say, Azys Lla or the coils of bahamut ?
Many of the power sources which allow Azys Lla to remain aloft have canonically been removed and/or deactivated. Most notably the defeat of the warring triad. Would it not be reasonable to assume that Azys Lla should, by all accounts, come crashing down in calamitous fashion at some point or another ?
We know Hydaelyn possessed the capacity to expel Zodiark and thusly formed the 13 shards of the source and that the ascians are attempting to force the shards to rejoin the source and thereby ressurrect Zodiark.
If the ascians ever completed their objective, why couldn't Hydaelyn simply expel Zodiark once again in the same manner that was done originally ?
Will there ever be a re-introduction to the Adventuring Companions from 1.0? I had a strong attachment to mine! Even if they can't come back as an npc I'd love to know what happened to her!
Is there any specific reason why there are so few Hellsguard in and around Abalathia's Spine and if so is there a possibility of us revisiting or learning about parts of Abalathia where there are still Hellsguard?
How and when did Curtis Hext die?
Will there ever be lore or at least names for the following characters:
- The Leveilleur twins' mother
- Louisoix's wife
- Louisoix's other children
- Lyse's mother
- Cid's mother
- Zenos' mother
- Zenos' potential siblings
- Aymeric's mother
- Haurchefant's mother
- Edmont's wife
Besides his last name, Thancred's entry in the Lore Book didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about him. Several other characters' entry had a similar problem. Will the second volume contain more tangible new information on characters who had a profile in the first volume?
Will we ever get a definitive conclusion to this rather open storyline regarding Odin, Urth, Wiyu, and Zantetsuken? Oda-san gave us quite a few interesting nuggets of lore about Odin's true role, and Urth's civilization, and Allag's part in it, but it leaves me wanting to know the whole story.
What did Regula van Hydrus look like? We never see his face and barring some sort of Echo vision it seems unlikely that we ever will at this point.
I have a few questions regarding the cutscene where the Warrior of Light gives Cid his goggles.
-The natural assumption was that this cutscene took place the very first time that Cid crossed into Eorzea, 15 years ago in 1562?
-The Enterprise already has the Garlond Ironworks logo on it. Did Cid have the plan to establish the Ironworks and design the logo before he got to Eorzea?
-Biggs and Wedge are on the Enterprise with him, appearing to be the same age that they are in the present day. But if the ages given in their lore book entries are accurate, then that means that they were 10 and 8 respectively. Were they conscripted at so young an age?
Why is "Flame General" Raubahn's name still on hunt bills after players complete 4.1, when Nanamo effectively fired him from the Flame General position? Does this mean there's a chance Raubahn will return to Ul'dah?
In Ala Mhigo, we saw that there were tensions while forming a new government. We see a similar thing occur in Ishgard during Heavensward, where establishing a parliamentary republic caused some conflict. What about in Doma? Is there any resistance there among its denizens?
Now that Nanamo is down two Syndicate members (including the only one loyal to her), how does she plan on influencing Syndicate affairs so long as it exists?
What exactly do leaders like Aymeric, Hien, etc. think of all those adventurers running around wearing their outfits?
(And does this mean we might see the other Alliance leader outfits in the future?)
How quickly do Lalafell and Roegadyn reach their full height?
We regularly see Lalafell working in what can be considered hard labor or physical jobs, such as working in the army or in the mines. Is their stature deceptive and they have a similar physicality as Hyur or Miqo'te or are they working but with less strength? If a Lalafellin Brass Blade went toe to toe with a Roegadyn Brass Blade, who would win?
Hello, I've posted about this a couple of times previously but I don't know if it has been getting through to official channels as I haven't had any response, and I feel like it really needs to be resolved (before more of the game gets written and confuses it further).
There seems to be a major timeline/information inconsistency regarding House Durendaire, with the MSQ, AST quests and lorebook all giving different versions of the facts. I wrote it all out here and tried to condense it down here.
Can you please clarify the correct version of events, particularly:
1. whether the lorebook description of the AST plotline (in Leveva and Jannequinard's profiles) is simply incorrect, or actually intended to overwrite the timeline established in the game
2. Jannequinard's correct age, given that the game script implies he must be older than his lorebook-given age of 32, possibly by ten or twenty years
3. confirmation of the Durendaire family tree, given that all versions seem to give different accounts of the future succession - in briefest form:
- Jannequinard's alternating references to being second or third in line (and Forlemort's indication there are three brothers)
- AST Lv50: Janne's apparently-not-missing older brother had all the responsibility of being the next count
- Lorebook: succession is unclear and the count will have to remarry to produce another heir
Is Jannequinard supposed to be Carvallain's brother, or Charlemend's?
4. Not directly related to the timeline snarl, but at what point in the AST backstory is Carvallain supposed to have run away? Dialogue in the Limsa episode of the AST quest indicates he finds Leveva 'familiar', which suggests he might have met Rufin when he accompanied Janne back to Ishgard. But the timing would have to be fairly tight on that fitting together (he vanished twenty years ago and the AST backstory was "almost twenty" years ago... unless the fifteen-years-ago lorebook account is now supposed to be canon).
Thankyou, I would greatly appreciate this being cleared up. I love the idea of these different plot threads being pieced together into one story, but it's very hard when they don't actually match up at all where they come together. Especially since I don't know whether to think of Jannequinard as being 32 or 50.
I'm going to miss middle-aged eccentric uncle Jannequinard if it turns out he's not the canon version... ;_;
Are we going to get more information on House Dzemael in future? They seem very under-represented compared to the other high houses (other than being the go-to "scheming nobles"). We haven't even seen the current count.
We hear about, but never get to see any flashbacks of, Chlodebaimt de Haillenarte. I understand it's possible to find his ghost in the Palace of the Dead, but haven't been able to get any screenshots of him, so I don't know if he appears as a unique character or a generic knight.
Does he have a proper character design, and are you able to show it please?
I'd also like confirmation on some minor characters who are associated with the High Houses but are not clarified as family members.
Tedalgrinche (MCH questline) - is he a son of the current Count de Dzemael? I assume he is but it's not outright stated.
"Lady Ninne of House Fortemps" at Camp Dragonhead - briefly talked to in a 'gathering information' MSQ quest (Lv37 "The Talk of Coerthas"), never mentioned again after that - and although she has changed dialogue following Haurchefant's death, she seems rather detached and makes no mention of being related to him.
(Edit: Looking through the levequest descriptions, I see she is also mentioned in the Lv54 GSM leve "Watchers within the Walls" - though still not any clearer as to how she's related to the others.)
"Lord Portelaine of House Durendaire" at the Observatorium - as I mentioned in my earlier linked post on the timeline issues, is he supposed to be the alluded 'middle brother' of the family, or some other relative?
Ser Aurelle "of House Haillenarte" at Dragonhead - working for them or part of the family? She has similar hair and eye colour to the known family members, seems to speak/act with some authority for the House, and the lorebook describes Laniaitte as the count's 'eldest' daughter (implying there are others we haven't been introduced to). On the other hand she refers to Francel as "my lord Francel" but this might be formality or an oversight in translation.
And is the Countess de Haillenarte still alive? (I do hope so, seeing as it's confirmed that Edmont's wife has died, and implied that Charlemend's wife is also dead as there's talk of him remarrying.) Also what is her name?
Could you tell me more about Ser Aymeric and Lucia? I am really curious! How a faithful spy of an empire betrayed her country.
We've had some lore on cross-breed children and know about the social taboo that comes with it. However, it's unclear what determines a cross-breed child's appearance, since Hilda looks obviously half Hyur, half Elezen, while NPCs like Arenvald look like a standard Hyur. Is the idea that cross-breed children take after their mother in terms of racial and physical traits true, or is it up to chance how much each parent affects the child's physical appearance?
With the Azim Steppe, we gained a lot of insight into Xaela culture and lore. As for Raen, Sui-no-Sato was very brief and offered very little information about Raen history and lore in general. Are there any plans on expanding on Raen lore, especially the Raen still living in the mountains, and their culture?
What job is Sadu using? The final fantasy wiki claims she is a black mage but that seems to be more of a guess as she uses very odd spells. Especially in our last fight in 4.4
There are several guilds in Eorzea, but not many schools. Sharlayan was one before it was abandoned, there is the Scholasticate in Ishgard, and there is the school in Doma once we rebuild it. That isn't much. Are there any schools of magic like Hogwarts or military academies like Gardens in Final Fantasy VIII?
In 4.4 Spoiler Ascian assumed an incorporeal form identical to the physical one he posessed before his body was shot down. So why did we occupy a body in the first place, if he had no need for it?
Varis can see and hear Ascians who do not posess physical forms. Isn't that something only Echo users are capable of?
