Next Eureka installment - please vastly reduce NM xp.

How can you play Eureka for so long but not understand how stupid it would be to just up and nerf NM's for the sake of "The way it's meant to be played!!!"???

To be fair you can still do all these things. The reality is people will always pick the quickest/easiest route. You can still chain grind Protean, you can still chain grind EXP. It just isn’t as lucrative. Unless they plan to remove Protean from the new areas, people can and will just mass convert their Anemos now to bypass any restrictions imposed later on Pagos crystals, etc. if I were to go convert every single Anemos I have by 50, I’d end up with around 800,000 Protean. So it was a huge oversight on their part.

Chain grinding is soooo boring. I absolutely hated it. The NM train is fun. Lots of cooperation. Giving the lower level players rides, keeping everyone raised and healed, trying to run through the landscape and not pull aggro. All of this was a lot of fun. I never had any issues wth low level people chilling to the side until the battle starts. Who does that hurt? RDM’s and healers could still Rez us and cure us. Now people just bouncing around on their obnoxious mount and not doing anything to help, that gets annoying. Other than that I don’t understand everyone’s problem.

If you wan to chain grind and waste hours of time and only get one relic done, go for it. But I’ve got all my classses to 70 and this allows me to glam my classes that share gear to finally have unique appearances, and I want to enjoy creating gear and weapons. Eureka finally gets really fun when you hit lvl 17 and can use mounts and being 19 and getting feathers is so rewarding after all the work. I love hunts, and it’s pretty similar, and a lot more fun. I go on rescue parties and class quest escorts and see tons of people doing all of this. I’ve never seen anyone left behind. Why in the world would you want to make the grind absolutely miserable and time wasting?
