I get that feeling on BRD too, but it's mostly because I'm not in a group that supports them (ie. no DRG/NIN). MCH feels the same losses as well, but they're at least reliable, despite the clipping and clunk. BRD flows better but the variance you get is just plain awful if you can't combat it via crit raid buffs. Neither class feels well balanced to me, but in BRD's case its not their fault. It's the meta comp that makes them feel good, and by contrast they look weak in other comps. MCH performs as well as you can handle it, and their design fights you the whole way. They appreciate the hell out of NIN and piercing, but deal enough damage to function without either.

i wish we can have five "Ammo" back, three isn't cutting it, also lengthen "Wild Fire" to 12 seconds and do something to "Flamethrower" it's a lvl 70 skill and i feel its lacking in the department as a lvl cap skill.

Well given the fact that it doesn't seem likely that 4.4 will be our fix patch I suppose I'll post here to bump this thread in hopes that the dev team takes notice of the machinist concerns and seriously takes a look at some adjustments for it.

Having just recently jumped back into MCH from BRD, it all came rushing back to me how many stoppages there are during a Machinist's regular rotation.
Animation locks during Reload, redeploying the turret, Stabilizer, reequipping the Gauss Barrel etc. Very annoying trying play around that. (It seems though i can shorten the Reload animation if used during Slug Shot's animation)
The BRDs seem to be able to cancel a lot if not all of their attack animations. Much much more fluid gameplay.
Trying to stay positive and hope to get a massive rework in 5.0. -

Historically expansion releases have not been kind for MCH. Maybe 3rd time's the charm? I guess we can hope, but considering the attention we're getting right now, I'm very much in the pessimistic crowd.
