[Poll] Your most wanted character customization feature?

I'm not sure if this counts as customization per se, but um...nipples? Like if you look, they're actually already modeled on to the body. They just lack a texture, for some reason, and it really bothers me.

Yoshi P. already said why they werent gonna add a butt slider yay texture streching.

S/E will never add a butt slider because they dont want to trigger the Social Justice Warriors. A lot of Japanese imported games to North America have been censored in order to avoid these glory warmongers.

I would like emote selections. For example I would love a Fem Highlander with Fem Midlander emotes and a Mi'qote or Au Ra running animation. More clans would be nice, like Garlean for Hyurs. The separation of Horns from Face for Au Ra would be nice as well as a Horn slider or some form of size option. More options for body decoration. Like we have facial features such as bushy eyebrows but we can't put tattoos on our body for when our skin is showing in some armor. I would like longer hair. Like down to the top of the butt would be nice. I don't really care about clipping, I just like long hair. I'd like to remove the freckles from my Fem Highlander but keep the face. To me it just looks like she has dirt on her face from close up. A butt slider would be ok I guess as long as it's in proportion with the body type. I'm always a fan of more races.

Au Ra scar options. Since we have scale options for the face, there aren't scar options, so I'd like to see that changed.

I'd love some more face options.

Been advocating for this for awhile, but please more facial and body hair options.

In regards to butt sliders the last thing I saw was that it would possibly cause stretching, BUT if that is what players wanted he would talk to the right people about it, and then we haven't heard more about it yet. It may well never happen and never come up again, but it's probably the thing I would want the most. I'm fairly in line with the poll itself really, if not a butt slider, then separating horns from faces, tails, etc, and down the line. Still, crossing fingers for the slider.

I chose other, though I would love to have a lot added to the game.

Body hair and more facial hair for all male classes..I don’t even understand why there isn’t any really in the first place.

Weight slider would be nice option and next butt slider.

I would love to get more face templates, it's so frustrating to get only a few options and in some races the templates are so lame that you end up choosing between two choices. No wonder why everybody looks the same.

Sliders are love. Sliders are life. I would choose many of those options though.

I hate having to pick just one, but considering that it's unlikely they'd ever consider upping the available 'proportions' of your character I'll say an addon slot where you could put some extra items that don't conflict with others.

Essentially being able to do things like Lapis mask + Ultima horns

With that said a lot of the items I'd want are too combined. Like wolfliege chest would be great to just be able to take that damn tail off it and use it in conjunction with any chest outfit.

I might be wrong but I think they do have eye shadow as a face paint option. Also, not exactly freckles but I've found that those dots, also a face paint option, kinda look like freckles. That's what I've been using since there isn't an option for freckles in game. Had to fiddle with the color a bit to get it right though. lol

I think they're asking for both eye shadow and freckles... and honestly same??
also the freckles aren't very good at the moment, they're really hard to make work on darker skin tones :x

I tried to give one of my characters freckles, but there really doesn't seem to be a nice middle ground between "too faint to see" and "too dark". I think perhaps because there's no variety in the colour of them? It would look better with some fainter ones mixed in. As they are, they look a bit like they've been drawn on if they're too dark.

I would really like to see more textured style for hair options. Curly, wavy and kinky in different legths and thickness. As far as I know there is an afro which honestly, (in my opinion) isnt the best looking nor is it availible in the begining.

I guess if I were to choose one of the availible poll options it would have been body size (shape). Would be nice if there were sliders for each area of the body as each of us are unique.

In addition to the obvious butt slider, I'd love for a thigh/hip slider to go with it. If the devs are worried about stretching, they don't have to make it as extreme as in a Korean MMO, but rather similar to how they did the chest slider in this game - reasonable and believable, but still with an obvious difference between minimum and maximum (barring femlalas).

Speaking of sliders, if they don't wanna give us face sliders, then give us more preset shapes of eyes/noses/mouths etc.

More faces, AT LEAST two more for every race BUT hyur (they already have like 10 to choose from).

Actual SJW here, I for one would LOVE to see a butt/thigh/hip slider implemented in the game. Why? Because it would give people the opportunity to create more diverse bodies, thus making it more inclusive to people who don't fit the default skinny/petite body type in FFXIV at the moment.

:3 Yes yes, right now I can have freckles OR eyeshadow! I want them both at the same time ^^;

When they released the freckles face paint I had to give up my eye shadow.

I put other cause there's just too much I think is necessary for a more up to date character creator. The ability to separate face paint options I think would help a lot because that extra make up helps the eyes pop out BUT you wanna use freckles or other options too!

Having make up under tattoos or its own category would be great! On terms of hair, without even bringing up Viera hair (hnnnng) just new colors would be great!! It really sucks when you want to get bright blues and pinks and you're stuck with them dulled down. We're not asking for them being so bright that it's painful to look at, just to let us have a bit of color.

Also, more highlight options. Highlights are either too little or too much on certain hairstyles. If we could have at least 2-3 options on the amount of highlight, that would be AMAZING and Jandelaine would be on speed dial (Adonis needs more red in her hair).

Add in ombre option too??? I've seen other creator systems with gradient options and to have a nice smooth color mix going top to bottom (or left to right) would be awesome!!!! Could use options to indicate how far it goes, much like the highlight suggestion.

This thread is pretty old but I still kinda want more tattoos/scars and things like that.

When I voted the results showed hair colors, etc at the top with a pretty significant lead.

Expanded body types. This was one thing PSO2 did exceptionally well...then again, their character creation system is so good that it's completely ruined me. XD

Hairstyles. There has only been one hairstyle that fits my characters style, and of course it's from a different FF title. I wish they would add (more) variants to all existing hairstyles just like in that beautiful example in page 1. And KILL the restrictions dude. My motivation to play this game is very low due to limited customization.

I would just like for faces/lips, and eyes to be universal across all races, it would at least give a much wider range of customization options. Allow me to use lips from any other race, or face within my race and I'll be happy. E.g. being able to use fishy horned au ra lips/mouth on my current raen.

Multi-part hair is a good idea, or just more hair styles and faces.

Like I wouldn’t mind a headband, but don’t want that hairstyle with it.

What's the chance gonna be that the 2B/9S hairstyle will be added with 5.5?
