Glides, in honor of Glides-Under-Starlight, my original character in another MMORPG and the first one I really played more than a couple of weeks.

At one point his name was Kwehstopher Warken. It works even better when he does the little dance they do when they cant do what they wanna do. He is currently Snozberry because he's blue. And he is also the other meaning of the word thanks to his habit of healing other people, other chocobos, and pigs in the mud before its my turn. He is definitely a snozberry.

Flanagan, which is just a fancy word for "red" (No guesses about what color he is).

I chose it partly because shares some syllables with my character's name.

I couldnt pass up "Kwehtzalcoatl"

Cobo. An obvious anagram of 'Boco' which of course is Bartz's chocobo in FFV, plus it's also a pun on the name origins of a character named 'Boco' in Thomas the Tank Engine which only train geeks would get. ;)

My character is called Rainbow Mika, so naturally my chocobo is Nadeshiko!

It used to be Phoneix but that name just felt wrong...

Grigori (which is my main's choco, after the dragon in Dragon's Dogma), Dartanian (one alt's choco, named after my cat), and Mannimarco (another alt's choco, a character in the Elder Scrolls series).

I named my Company Chocobo Gertrude. Because she looks like a chicken.

Additionally, my racing Chocobo is named Fat Dodo.

Picky, the name of a monster in Ragnarok Online. Could have been Pecopeco (kind of his evolution) but I like Picky more.

Mine started as Bocolina. (After Chocobolina.)

I named mine Towa, because leveling her up is going to take me an eternity.

Alt (Athena Ivy's) : Disco (named after a mule duck named Disco who stars on 50 ducks in a hot tub) a dark purple bo

I named mine Boco, lol. Simply because I want my very own Boco, like the one in FF5 and FfTactics.

My in-game mentor’s chocobo is named Lasagna, because he was eating lasagna when he had to name his chocobo and couldn’t think of anything else. Lol.

I named mine Foghorn Leghorn, because he's a big bird giving out some whooping!

On my main I simply went for Kweh so it's a pokemon. On my alts I couldn't be bothered so they are all named either "Birb" "Borb" or "Bob"

Chopo. It sounded cute, and means poplar in Spanish (thanks to this message I learned a new English word).

I...um, named mine Ruby as a round-about way of naming it after my then boyfriend (now fiance) so that I could ride him anytime I wanted...

My main is named Artemicion, after a Moogle in FFIX that thought 90W gear lube made a good hair tonic. I'm not sure why, except that I like the name. He isn't even purple.

My first alt's bird is named Scrambles ("Scrambles the, uh... the Deathdealer"), and my second alt's is named Rocket after my family's shop cat.

Chocobro...I kind of hate myself but it was too good

Mine is Xanthias and I've used it since 1.0. It supposedly means yellow in Greek was why I named him this, but he's green as of chocobo dyeing implementation. XD And yes, I am aware there is a fictional character (in plays) by this name as well... that is a slave. >_>

I thought this fits because of the color (although, later I've changed the color to pink) and...because it's a bird.
