Right there with ya buddy, we pay for a service that is obviously not working properly. Would be the same as your cable TV constantly going out...what would you do? Why cancel and switch providers of course. So I understand, if they can't fix the problem then we can spend our money elsewhere.

Square really needs to fix this issue or they better start crediting us time I haven't been able to play in days every time I get on I get kicked within a few minutes of running a dungeon. I only get 1-2 hours to play a day and it's been 3 days with no change to do so.

And SE hasn't even acknowledged the issues yet.

The people who run the NA side of things are on vacation. 4th of July.

Guess this is going to take a while to fix. Tried to play early this morning and do some PoTD, first thing to happen is a massive lag and as soon that i spawn on Quarrymill and in less than a minute the game crashes. After that, my main got stuck in dc hell where i barely see the game for a few second before getting kicked, if even that. Everything else works fine, no issues with other games and stuff (Playing on PC), and creating another character seems to avoid the issue.

Throwing my hat in with the rest of the Aether data center, my friends and I were suffering constant, 90k disconnects in Palace of the Dead last night when we tried to run it before maintenance. However, I managed to get in a single Palace run immediately after maintenance ended without a problem.

This predicament doesn't seem entirely resolved, though, as a friend just recently informed me that they're getting constantly disconnected again, and cannot mount up nor use their weaponskills whenever they do manage to stay logged in right now.

Game is impossible to play. Get 90002 error suddenly in the game, then when I try to login error 2002 and the lobby close. This last for 30 minutes or so, which I can't play. Guess I'll stop paying subscription for some weeks, cause the game in the current state is just waste of time/money.

Just an update: Issues are the same as reported earlier, if not worse. Tried to do some crafting > get dc'd > tried to do some gathering > get dc'd > tried to catch up on some job quests > get dc'd.

I know in some people's mind they'll be thinking "Just put the game down for a while" etc, but we are PAYING MONEY for a service that we can not use. Unacceptable.

Weirdly crafting is the literal only thing I can do.
If I do anything with a cast timer, I crash; so mounts, food etc. If I cross zones I crash, if I teleport I crash, if I am in a duty I crash.
But sitting on my lawn in the goblet I can at least craft. If i only do it in this area and avoid any and all other gameplay functions.

Yeh still having problems. Can't escape from quarrymill.

Update since I've cleared Omega (annoyingly whilst being d/c'd - didn't even get to do parts of the fights - on the other hand they are incredibly easy...).

Now just sorting inventory and MB in preparation for some craft/gather. d/c whilst accessing Armoire. d/c whilst accessing retainers. Hope it's just due to everyone logging in for patch day, and us EU ppl being furthest away so lower priority for server interaction and that it'll get better... Hope...

That time is bs. We've been having these issues for over 12 hours.

Having this for almost 2 weeks now. I'm gonna quit this game, even I love it so much, but it's unplayable. I see how everyone around me do their things without any lag and then *90002 error*

I decided to run a few dungeons on my BRD to level up that job. Managed without any problem for a good while. Then I hit 45 and needed to visit my trainer.

So I teleported to Quarrymill.

I immediately regret my decision.

Can't do a thing once I get there. Or I can, but it's like I'm a ghost. I can see everything happening around me, but once I try to interact (mount up, speak to an NPC, access the Duty Finder, etc.), the game locks up. No disconnect, but can't exit the game or log out. Have to force close.

Bit disappointing, since I'm coming back after about a year off and I'm met with issues like this. Hopefully they left some people tending to the data center this 4th of July so that it can get fixed.

Yeah, was hoping this would fix it, but nope. Nothing's changed. Still get 90ked every time I do something.

I think, I'll go back to EU server like Omega...

11 hours later. still the same 90002 error

It has slowly gotten worse for me, EU player on Balmung.

First it was just going into apartments, then my alt got stuck into Quarrymill like many others.

Now on my main I get DC'ed with 900002 every time I mount up while doing hunts.

I had a lot of issues last night a couple hours before maintenance (only in duties), and then it stabilized that last hour or so, and it was stable the two hours I was on after maintenance clearing Omega. Haven't tried this afternoon since I've been out of the house, but these issues with instability, 90k, and lag have been going on since Early Access. Can't we please get a solution? This has to run deeper than just DDoS; it feels more like there's some server infrastructure or hardware instability somewhere.

Please, SE, if this is the case, I would much rather you take the game down to perform extended maintenance on it and hopefully resolve the issue rather than leave the game up and the issues continuing. :/

The lack of response on this issue is appalling given the amount of people saying it is an issue and an overwhelming response from EU players on NA servers about this.

It's a holiday in America atm, chances are the people who would be in charge of a public statement + fixing this issue, are not working today.

That's true, today is holiday in NA. Probably that's why they haven't given a response yet. It seems we won't be able to play today, and they will have their mail box full of complaining. I'm in Brazil and I have the same problem as EU players. My bf is having no problem playing.

Before the most recent patch (4.01), I had no issues at all, none! But after the patch, I've been booted to the login screen many times throughout the day.

All I'm really doing at the moment is running around completing Main/side story quests in Heavensward areas and some FATEs in between. As I've been doing them today I've noticed that when I engaged in battle there's a high chance I'll be booted to the login screen. I have went idle/afk/tabbed out and not once has the game booted me, but the moment I start doing things like FATEs, fight mobs for quests etc. there's a high chance I'll get the boot.

I have come to fear those dark-purple circles that appear during quests that spawn enemies. It's almost a guarantee that I'll get booted shortly after, when I enter those circles lol. Seems to me that this has something to do with performing actions in combat? That in itself is pretty vague though, but that's where this is happening at least for myself.

Also I reside in Europe and play on the NA server, Excalibur. Like I said previously, absolutely no problems until this 4.01 patch hit.

Disconnect only in Behemoth. In others i can play fine ....

Guys the only solution I'm seeing for SE to notice us players who can't get this fixed is each of us make a thread at technical support saying ourissue. Maybe if we fill forum with lots of threadsavout it, they may do something.

I'm really disappointed and upset with SE. This never happaned in ARR.

That's what I finally did. Because yeah.. 12 hours? Try 2 weeks. I refuse to pay for a game I can't play.

NA people as well it would seem.

So... went offline to do something else and then go to sleep. Now it's 9 hours later and still the same problem..... getting on a mount -> DC, teleporting -> DC. Yay ~

if you really dont wanna solve the problems, wich it seems how are things going to be, at least give those poor ppl that are getting those issues the chance to transfer somewhere else instead of keep ignoring us

Wow... now i get an error message when i try to teleport and the whole game shut down. Something new!! ^_^
