Just cleared the extreme trials and omega normal. Dual SCH on a full party if the worst combination you can ever get.
Hope can see some changes in 4.05 else I can foresee SCH might have problems with omega savage later on.

To be fair, double SCH has always sucked, so that much at least is nothing new.
There's nothing wrong with dual SCH if people are familiar with the fight. While I wouldn't recommend it for Omega 4 per say given that people are still in the midst of learning it, it works just fine in Lakshimi and Susano EX. The important thing of course is to not die, because recovery is rough.
When learning a fight it's a clown fiesta anyway, so it doesn't really matter what classes you have healing; it's going to be pretty rough regardless.
Incidentally, multiple Excogitation stack if used at the same time. :-] However, if the hit actually the tank and they don't survive with at least 1 HP then the excogs won't trigger to bring them back from death. :-/
I cleared a bunch of Omega Normal fights with dual scholar due to DF matching me up with another. Its definitely less smooth than being paired with any other healer :(
I would be happy with scholar right now if SE either upped potency or reduced cost for succor/adlo and fixed the fairy tether issues. Ideally I'd like a lower cost aoe heal that isn't tied to aetherflow or a passive ability that the other two healers have because having a skill like that would make getting double sch in duty finder less of an absolute chore, but I don't see that happening this expansion cycle.
How we do it? We level a Summoner and tune in for class quests every now and then.
I'm enjoying the job the same as I did in Heavensward. It's not perfect by a long shot, and I agree that the job needs some TLC, but I've had no trouble clearing Omega multiple times and having fun in the process.
Frankly, my biggest problem so far has been the stigma that all of the complaining has built, specifically when using the Duty Finder. While many of the criticisms are legitimate, a lot of them are exceptionally overblown, and the false portrayal of SCH as a horrible healer has begun to affect the people who choose to continue playing the job. It seems that the community at large has constructed a critical, illogical, and judgmental perception that is hurting the players even more than SE's decisions have done, based on all of the hyperbolic whining that paints SCH as useless and incompetent when it is most assuredly not.
I'm not going to get into anecdotes, but I have detected a very real, very severe prejudice towards the job that simply did not exist before, and it's become pervasive and abusive enough that I have considered stepping away from the game altogether. (I'm not changing jobs.)
Nah just roll around like me and get a chuckle at all the people losing their collective shit over minor things. I've been trying to fight back against it for the most part but people are gonna be whiney brats and give a bad image regardless because people tend to be entiled and always want to be the very best with the shortest route of effort. People that think SCH suck right now simply don't understand the class and I don't care what the heck they say they cleared or how amazing they say they are. It needs some minor tweaks ive been saying this too, but I'm sorry SCH can solo heal all the content in this game easy atm as the class that has always been the worst at that and in my eyes that puts them well above the suck category.
If people want to know what an ACTUAL sucky class was, take a time machine back into launch 2.0 warrior
Frankly, you need to throw a fuss if you want to draw attention even to the need for "minor" tweaks. Sure, ranting about SCH being dead or trash is definitely overdoing it, but some players are more than a little dissatisfied, and that feeling is valid even if their feedback has been a bit hyperbolic here and there.
Those of us who raided successfully on SCH in the past aren't going to look at the 4.0 incarnation as the end of the world because we are accustomed to micromanaging to wring every bit of efficiency out of the Job. For better or worse, that's not the experience of the "average" player who may never even have attempted Coil or Savage anything.
What we consider to be the need for tweaks and QoL fixes probably translates as a pretty serious issue for players who weren't min/maxing SCH to begin with. As I've said before, I feel that the skill floor for SCH has risen while the ceiling has dropped slightly.
