Male Bunny Outfit

They never said the male version of the bunny outfit would be about crossdressing though? Unless I misunderstood it, it sounded like they just wanted to make an attractive (male) outfit for males.

At this point, I'm not expecting it to ever happen.
Never wanted a cross dress version of the outfit in the first place personally.... just wanted the damn ears.

Yeah, I'm really having a hard time believing that the promise to make the male version happen was anything other than another lie to get us to shut up and go away temporarily. And it's sad, because it's made some really loyal players shut up and go away permanently.

I don't think we're asking for much, SE, just equal treatment...

Cait Sith cat ears (with crown!) - No problem for males!
Fox ears? - Sure, males can wear those!
Werewolves? - Of course there are male werewolves, no problem!
Carbuncle ears? - Clearly not an issue to have a man wear glowing, flappy ears!
...heck, we've got a unicorn-horn for both genders from a ranged PvP-set!
Edit: Succubus-horns, something that belongs to demons that are by defintion female-only, are unisex! A man can be a succubus but not a bunny!

But bunnies? No, no, no, bunny cant be male!
I get that creating a new outfit takes time (I dont get that it takes well over 2 years...) - what I dont get is the ears. They dont need to be adjusted at all for male-models. They can just stay the way they are and it would make a lot of people happy! I've since changed for some other reasons aswell but my character used to be a male elezen who would have loved to be an easter bunny (using the reindeer-suit and bunny ears) but couldnt be. Because every other animal ears are fine for males... just bunny ears not.
They were very quick to unlock certain male-only-glover for both genders in HW... which makes thise even worse...

(Nothing against you, Dracothe, I know you mean well and I'm not arguing against your suggestion... just against the fact that you have to make it in the first place which is outright silly)

I'm pretty much not expecting anything. SE clearly just wants us to shut up and go away at this point. Or play female characters.

We want A bunny outfit. The one girls can already wear or (preferably) a new one designed for guys. I don't get how a collared bowtie, shorts, gloves, and dress shoes are "challenging" to get to fit all races unless they simply never work on it except when someone has five minutes to spare.

I hope they do come out with it for you guys. They've been mentioning it for ages with no show of work.

Maybe soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for the fellas.

It might have the bunny ears, even if the outfit won't be the same that females wear. I know they're taking long, but I'm sure it'll be worth it when it's finally released.

Also for the succubus horns they can be taken as incubus horns when a guy wears them since incubus’ are Male succubus

Thissssss, its not even a particularly complex outfit- how on earth is it challenging? ? ?

Its been 5 months since they last said they'd start working on it again, and the New Years Q&As confirmed they're still dragging their feet. I half expect I'll end up using my fanfest question card on it again :/

Actually the names imply more your position during the intercourse, iirc, where one means to lie over (Incubus) where the other means to lie underneath (Succubus). So guys can be Succubi and girls can be Incubi. Just saying :3

And yet they just popped at least 2 more sets of gear for all roles in 4.2 and surprisingly enough male charas are able to wear those just fine, amazing. At this point the only way in which this can be hard for them is if they start to render the bow-tie on a male Roe and then have to punch a wall to feel manly again and then take a break because they hurt themselves. There's no justification for this. None.

But on the off chance you're right and they implement it this way...it will be unisex...

yall stop i think its just too damn hard to adjust it for homophobics i think this is the reason we couldn't see it , but hey we getting a lot of recycled gears so maybe they are working on it and that's why they recycled even the Zeta relics , maybe its a good sign <3

I know you're probably joking but if they can't come up with a design that gets around a character who, from what I've seen, wears suspenders for a top, they need to hire new designers.

I don't want to post anything 'steamy' that could potentially get me into trouble, but all I really want for the male version of the outfit is a 'chippendale' style outfit. A pair of smart shoes, some tight trousers and no shirt - just a bowtie instead in its place. Then, of course, it's just a matter of having a pair of bunny ears to make the set complete.

That doesn't seem particularly difficult to me. Yet I fear they're just going to recreate the female set on male characters and by consequence deny those of us that want it to be designed with men in mind yet another set. I can't think of any other reason why they'd be so evasive or 'uncomfortable' unless that is their plan.


At any rate, 4.2 is upon us in a matter of days and we seemingly have to add that to the list of patches that have passed in the time we've been waiting for this set...

Don't forget the cuffs!

I'd even be ok with a small vest like the Cotton Doublets, just designed to be fancier and maybe a bit shorter, like someone linked to a couple of pages back. :< I mean having a leotard isn't anything I'll necessarily say no to, but a part of me is also hoping that's not what we're going to get.

After all this time spend working on the outfit, I am expecting something good and not copypasta of another gear. The outfit should be masculine, but sexy.

Isn't it possible to make such an outfit out of existing items? Well minus the ears of course cause that's super hard to program to fit male heads. No suspenders glamour unfortunately for 100% authenticity. And just speaking from pre-existing evidence, males have no bulge in this game so nothing to show off on either side unless they change how the lower body looks and we already know their stance on that

It wasn't even specially made. Alphinaud's used multiple Carbuncles of colors we can't access even after the glamours were added. I want that Obsidian Carbuncle.

I made this months ago and it doesn't really feel steamy to me as there are other characters who are dressed in less than this. But it can be done with ingame items right now.

May I recommend the Mog ribbons or the Rainbow craftable ribbons? Personal preference, but I feel like it'll work better in this case :o

Lets be honest, if they were actually working on it actively the set would have been done a long time ago.

This is what I have to say about gender locked items.
If males begin wearing female gear, I want SE to give me a option to shut off being able to see glamour.

Nothing against anyones style of wearing gear but I don't wanna see it.

So I would love for them to add a option where I can hide seeing glamour from other players.

This isn't really about wearing the female set. We want an original set for men, designed with showing off masculine charm in mind, because SE said they were working on it. Or even just the stupid ears at this point.

You'll never get the option of turning off people's glamours, so... do men in the tanga (speedo) bottoms bother you? The coliseum sets? Because that's along the lines of what most of us are asking for, not fishnets or bustiers.

Why not you keep asking for gender lock items to be unlocked why can't I ask for a button to check off to turn off glamours for everyone so I don't have to see them.

I don't see the issue.

Why do you want me to see them because I don't, its bad enough I have to see some of the stuff not like I have a choice.

I think you're misunderstanding everything, though whether it's by choice or genuinely a mistake I'm not sure.

Generally speaking, we don't want what the girls have. No fishnets, no skirts this round. Just a sexy outfit for guys- which probably involves shorts and a very bare chest. The Tanga swimsuits are locked to males and the coliseum gear has separate sets for male and female (I was referring to the male version) and if we can have them already, why not a male equivalent for the bunny outfit? Frankly, it's outright unfair that only one gender gets to be hypersexualized. Equality in opportunities for objectification! :P

None of us have the right to not be offended. Sorry if you don't like seeing scantily clad guys but we're not forcing you to wear the stuff so can you deal? There are hordes and hordes of mostly naked female characters out there for you to ogle and distract yourself from the guys doing /squats in the corner. ;)

There's another thread asking for more "cool" and masculine gear designs in general- you could post some ideas there instead of complaining about a single glamour outfit here. There are people who want locks to go away entirely but it's not in the scope of this thread. This is just about SE not delivering on a promise they made a few years ago.

Just open up the main menu, go to system, and press the button labeled "sign off" so you can stop playing the video game if the clothes people wear on their avatars bothers you so much.
