first thing I noticed is that this is the first time we see the AST AF gear on a female and its significantly different from its male counterpart...which I welcome a lot
since I didnt like the male version that much. But this, looks promising.

Also...this WHM Skill looks more like an attack than a healing spell to me? Moar AoE Pew Pew? :D

Good catch. It's surprising how much is different. I will agree that our first look at the outfit didn't appeal to me, but the female version is very pretty.

I am SO UPSET with how much cuter the female AST AF gear looks!! I wanted something very desert-y gypsy like for myself ;/

It looks like the AST is DEFF getting two new cards ! There are eight cards there and they did tease those two new cards in the benchmark !! Yayyyy new cards !!!

Omg I'm getting so excited. I don't know which job to main. The AST AF is nice. WHM attack is pretty. Maybe an AOE fluid aura. Thank you for the pictures.

Doesn't seem to be a target anywhere near, and I don't see the big fire spit effect.. so.. Mount (or an impressive range on the ability lol)?

Since that blog seems to be showing off new gpose stuff my guess is it's a ground targeted AoE or that gpose will be set up to allow us to include attacks without actually needing to actually attack something as getting subsequently attacked would mess up our ability to get a good screens hot and it'd be a pain to have to be near a striking dummy to do it. After that its just down to whoever took the screenshot managing to time it perfectly between the frog appearing and spewing fire.

I'm not opposed to being wrong of course.

EDIT: Looking at that gif again the screenshot is definitely at the end of the fire-spewing animation. Perhaps gpose will have a setting to not show ground effects,

Oh yeah it could definitely be a new GPOSE setting, didn't think of that. It definitely looks like the end for the toad animation, the issue was that the toad's attack is still visible even when the frog goes away.. So unless it's a really long attack we will need that hidden ground effect.

Of course we also have to guess it means that the toad's attack is not a target spell but a ground target, or GPOSE also gets invisible dummies lol.

Ninja summons a giant frog that spits alcohol at the mob that ignites into flames. It seems weird but the origin of the skill is based on Shinobi lore.

Benchmark had the Lord and Lady, and there's also the Knave as the final face card. In total there's 60 cards in the full deck, but I think ASTs are just getting the face cards this xpac (besides who wants to memorize 60 cards lololol)

The deck of sixty has many repeated cards though. You've 9 minor arcanas, 6 pip and 3 face. And then 6 copies of each. Not so many to memorize! :p

There seems to be a distinct lack of certain other jobs, can we get some loving?

He might do MNK, MCH and SMN, which I think are the only ones missing, when he gets back but from what I understand he has already left for Germany for the big live letter event we get in a weeks time. After that though it might not be necessary as we will probably get a lot of ingame examples of the new abilities/battle system.

On the media tour now, In San Francisco atm I believe, so probably had no time to post the others.

I'm going to guess that this is Float, and that it lets you move while casting. I'm probably completely wrong, but I just wanted to throw the idea out there.
