The time this post was made helped lighten up the forums since it became way too serious and aggressive. New posters might agree with what you wrote. However, for the old posters it was very much needed(besides the few ones that took it seriously).

LOL YES awesome post. would read again. There is a part deep down in my soul that loves hating on ff11. You have to have this level of jadedness to have played Final Fantasy 11 as a true fan. 7 years of FF11 and my fondest moments are hating on it in real life with my best friends.

10 thousand quest all requiring a party of 6. The problem is no 6 people on any given server want to do the same quest at once.

To add to Loyalty Mode. Reshuffle all characters to be distributed evenly, albeit randomly across the servers. If you want in on a particular server, someone from that server has to go the Adventurer's Guild and buy a Buddy Pass. And to reduce frustration, the ability to choose a server from rerolling / reloading the character creation process has been removed, so you need only wait for your friend's Buddy Pass.

Lol... I laughed at the OP... it is full of win.. and the serious responses and the eventual backpedaling when some of them realized the joke was on them.. that was good! XI sure had its moments, good and bad... some of the bad moments were kinda a stretch because they were kinda of lacking in content, just like XIV is at the moment. Guess we have some more silly moments to look forward in XIV... ^_^

You make a good point! I think people need to realize just how much stuff sucked in XI that was fixed in XIV.. this is a pretty comprehensive list of everything I hated about XI and why I adore XIV so much!

THAT is one reason I do not want them to get rid of the physical level and make stats based off of class rank. They could very well do something like this if that happens. I would rather not have to start focusing on dex and mastering my thief skills just cuz I'm a cat!

But we do have discrimination. The only difference is that now it is a Gender discrimination.

Haha yes. That's actually one of the most nostalgic things to me about FFXI. It looked like you were praying to restore your strength. It was kind of annoying, but I remember kneeling down on La Theine Plateau after every bee fight at level 15 or so during the beta. Good times.

-new abilities that are only unlocked if you climb a 100 floor dungeon, but you can only climb 5 floors per 24 hours, need 5 other players, and can only join a group if you have specific jobs at maximum rank. And if you do choose to climb the dungeon you get locked out of guildleves on the days that you climb.
