Or maybe they are doing it so you can dps especially in dungeons we can usually do much more damage then them so casting Clemency to save us from having to get out of CS is actually beneficial.

Non-healers who think it's cool to stoneskin and protect everyone every second.
Well, being a Paladin and Protecting/Stoneskinning someone when they just got revived isn't too bad. The healers could be preoccupied with topping everyone off for a massive raid hit.
They shouldn't be spamming it though.
I never look at gear, I just assume my tanks are gonna be paper dolls attempting to distract the enemies (and often failing).
Tanks who wait for crit Adlo to run off between pulls. What are you doing? Why are you just standing there??
I just offered a WHM to have Eos solo heal the entirety of A9 nm on DF. They didn't reply, and then just proceeded to stand there doing nothing as Whispering Dawn and Embraces steadily kept the tank at 70%+ HP. So I just switched to Selene and provided absolutely no healing throughout the entire fight.
You won't be AFKing in my watch, you little lazy PoS.
Having the tank hit sprint and bolt as soon as the shield in the dungeon drops and doesn't stop until he/she is about 30% hp and has like 12 mobs following.
The server lag in the game. No reason it should let me use Benediction, have it "appear" to heal someone, even see the heal number above the head, but due to the slow processing speed on server end, the person dies. Why is my Benediction on recast if it did not truly heal someone now? Same applies to anything in this game really, even Melee LBs. I used Melee LBs just before I was about to die, the LB gauge depletes and the thing is unharmed by it. So server side lag/ slow processing speed would be my number 1 pet peeve.

Tanks not using cooldowns is 10 through 2 of my top 10 list. Number 1 is that one tank. You know the one. Doesn't notice you barely meet the item level minimum for the content and goes ahead and pulls half the dungeon anyway. He then proceeds to not use cooldowns or dodge anything. When you can't keep up with him losing 50% of his HP per second and he dies he yells at you. Claims all other healers can do it, in defiance of common sense and basic math. Won't listen when you ask him to pull smaller.
Pallys who used to be a white mage decides he wants to stay playing a healer while in tank form. Cure cure cures everyone. Dude, stay a white mage.
1. Deliverance on MT
2. Tunnel visioners (You didn't see that big flashing indicator? Really? You owe me MP in the amount of a raise.)
3. BLMs who ignore mechanics because ley lines is up.
4. Bards who refuse to use WM, or who use WM but spitefully never move because "i can't move while attacking anymore, so i can't move out of these mechanics" while i'm darting all over the room to heal everyone.
This one is rare, but it's happened to me.
Casters healing the tank with Physick because I'm in CS or theven tank drops to 40%. Stop wasting everyone's time. If the tank dies, tear me a new. If they don't? Screw off and let me do my job.
I think this one is kinda cute in a very patronizing way lol, but yes, it's annoying.
When I was leveling AST through the crappy low lvl dungeons I'd usually let the tank fall down to about 5% of their HP because Essential Dignity is broken as fuck at low levels, and I did get the eventual THM or ACN trying to physick them back to health. Nothing that a simple explanation couldn't solve in my experience, though!
Probably already said but I can't stand WAR's with obnoxious berserk macros. A simple 'berserk up' or "pacified in 20sec" is fine. I don't need to have a massive count-down or alarms and whistles blaring at me because I will ignore it. Also DPS who decide to pull, they shall receive no heals unless the tank is okay with it. Should the tank ask them to stop, I too will stop healing them.
Oh, that's just petty. I do what I can to keep people alive as long as they haven't insulted me/tried to ruin the run, it's not like letting a DPS tank for a bit is gonna kill everyone.
Sort of. I half agree with you.
If the DPS is pulling trash, what's the reason? Generally speaking, outside it being an accident or the like, the DPS is doing it either out of spite or selfishness. The tank is either afk, going "too slow", is not "good enough", or something similar. If I notice the dps pulled onot purpose I might question their reasoning. I usually ask them afterwards, and if their reasoning is less than innocent than I refuse to them if they do it a second time.
The DPS pulling just because they want to, in spite of the rest of the team, is petty.
When my co-healer yells at me for using cleric stance.
Just because I pop on CS right near the pull doesn't mean I expect you to main heal (especially when you're a SCH). It means there's not much damage going out, so I'm using this opportunity to help out with DPS, even if it's just placing DOTs real quick. Just because I'm a WHM doesn't mean I should just stand there waiting for someone to take damage.
Tower Labyrinth first boss. DPS and tanks don't kill skeletons or kill them all near by for auto wipe. A proper healer will know how to survive it with timing but chances are we be killeld right after.
Whaaat, people really do this? As a SCH, when my DF co-healer catches on that I'm using Eos for WD and I see the icon for Cleric in their party window slot, my heart is warmed forever.
On the other hand... I hate all the overhealing that inevitably happens in DF... it's always difficult to know which fairy to use because of this. With my AST companion I use Eos in most fights so that both of us can DPS like crazy, specially instances which can be accessed through Duty Finder. But in DF you can never really trust the other healer to DPS, which justifies Eos, nor can you trust them to solo heal, which justifies Selene. It's so complicated, really...
I'm sure its already been said but I hate when tanks pull everything and its mother......and pops ZERO CDS and just expects you to just deal with it. I don't find it a test of how good a healer I am, I find it as this tard over here doesn't even know how to do even the basics of his/her class. CDs are there for a reason, they aren't there for you to use only on a boss or when you're at 5% health. FYI Blood Price and Unleash spam isn't some magical tank CD.......
It's more of an AST pet peeve for me. But when I do expanded balance and using my celestial opposition to increase the time..please do not overwrite my cards with your expanded spear.
Replacing Expanded Balance with Expanded Spear(or anything really) should piss everyone off. If I am ever around and something like this happens I'm calling out that AST.
I just recently came back from a hiatus, so I don't know about how common it is now but back before I stopped playing (about 6 months ago, played for years) it was very common for co-healers to bitch about the other being in Cleric Stance. It happened more often than you'd think in end game(non-static) content.
There are several things that make me mad when I'm healing duties.
--Tanks not using cooldowns.
--Tanks not using cooldowns and being poorly geared.
--Tanks not using cooldowns, being poorly geared, AND deciding to do the big boy pulls (and then subsequently complaining when they die).
--Two tanks in 8-mans that decide to see who has the biggest you-know-what, and fight for aggro, spinning bosses around, and cleaving the party in the process.
--When running on AST and the other AST either changes to the same sect as me before a fight, and refuses to change back, and then proceeds to overwrite my shields/HoTs.
--When another AST overwrites my AoE Balance with something like an AoE Bole or, worse, an AoE Spire/Ewer.
--Noct ASTs overwriting my SCH shields (or even being in Noct in the first place).
--When I drop my Asylum or Sacred Soil bubble and THE TANK DOESN'T STAND IN IT (or worse, moves out of it). :I
--A tank wasting my CritLos, or my Deployed E4E/Adlo.
--WARs and Berserk macros that are completely obnoxious and over the top. Really just makes me want to let you enjoy that 5 sec Pacification.
--When DPS stand in the bad.
--When I'm paired with another WHM, and I've already cast Protect and SS II, and then they recast it and overwrite mine. Like...why? What was the point in that? Especially if I swiftcast+Stoneskin II, and then they HARD CAST IT.
And this thread really hurts my BRD soul. It really is "damned if you do, damned if you don't." Many good BRDs realize their role as a support DPS. Don't think we are trying to insult you, or assume that you can't manage MP, if we see that you are sitting at 2,000 or less MP in a fight that requires heavy healing, or in a fight with a squishy tank. I have no way of telling if your MP refreshes are on CD or not. I just see a my healer(s) sitting at 2,000 MP or less (in a current endgame fight), and the group/tank is taking damage, so I'm going to help you out. Because, I'm sure if I didn't play Mage's, most healers, upon a wipe, would say: "Well, this bard didn't sing for me, so..."
I don't like lowering my DPS anymore than the next DPS, but if it gives our healers more healing power to keep us alive, then I'd rather lower it 10% for 30 seconds (since a Battle Voiced Mage's is more than enough to get a healer back to full before BV even wears off) and keep the healer up and healing, rather than us just wipe because the heals were OOM.
I cast Regen on the tank during a boss. Adds spawn. Adds flock straight to me, because of course they do. Tank doesn't bother to pick them up through the entire fight, because it's lower-level DF content so that means he can just auto-attack and tab out to Netflix. I die. I cry.
One of my new ones is other non-healing classes trying to tell me how to do my job. I got Niddy for daily trial today and made sure Medica II was up as we ran in. The tank was bitching about my pre-casting regens because no one had taken damage yet. News flash, I make sure it's up because there is damage coming very soon and I may be a bit too busy dodging mechanics to get off an AoE heal. Plus you always have people who stand out in Siberia and my regen ticking away on them that I can cast when we were all grouped up might be the thing that saves me from having to waste mp and a swiftcast on raising them.
I actually hate it when I'm main tanking and a WHM or AST precasts a party-wide regen before pull. In most fights you have at LEAST 5 seconds before anything happens, which is plenty of time for the tank to get a tiny enmity lead and for you to cast a regen which will be unnecessary so early into the fight in most cases. A good tank shouldn't have much problem keeping hate from the healer, but specially in Nidhogg normal you're risking a DF tank not being able to get hate in time and having Nidhogg cleave everyone for a nice wipe, mostly because you couldn't wait for the actual attack to be cast.
Also, what kind of AoE goes off in Nidhogg NM that would keep you so busy that you couldn't cast Medica II in battle? You also have Assylum and Assize if movement is so important...
If you're so worried about not having the time to hard cast Medica II or Aspect Helios then you could always burn your Swiftcast. It's not ideal but it's preferred to precasting a regen, especially since no one should be dying within the first 60 seconds. But like I said, not ideal.
My pet peve now is if a tank is gona pull 12 adds please make sure I dont have to escape from one you let get away , Ive tried running back towards the tank didnt work. I shouldnt have to dodge adds while healing if we gona do big pulls u should make sure you have their attention
SMNS/BLMS/WHMS/CO-SCHS that burn virus at the pull. Seriously? THAT'S MINE. D:< I would much rather use it during times of intense damage, when my cohealer needs a little more time to heal or when a tankbuster/ they have lousy cds up/mechanic is happening. Tanks have enough going for them at the start of the pull.
As a WHM I only ever use Virus if:
1. I'm the only person who has it.(dungeons)
2. There are no SMN or SCH in the party.(raid)
3. No one else is using it. If I don't ever see a boss go immune after x minutes then I'll assume no one is using it. Though generally in these situations I still don't like using Virus because I don't want it to become a habit.
You what? That's a really bad idea. You're not getting aggro from 1 regen that's easy to overwrite by the tank...you're getting 8x that aggro amount. It's a HORRIBLE idea to precast it before the tank grabs because in 9/10 times, YOU WILL DIE, PERIOD. Not to mention it's Nidhogg, it takes him about...maybe 15+ seconds before he does an AoE? More than enough time to wait for the tank to grab the aggro before a Medica II.
Maybe it's my data center but this is common practice in any trial I've ever participated in. White mages get Stoneskin II up and then Medica II right before we run in and scatter as the tank pulls. I always stay near my tank unless mechanics force me to move away so if I did get aggro it would be easy to peel, but I don't get aggro.
