Thats a bad example since the rule tells u that you arent allowed to count cards lol.

I know lol but its a bit different since it cant be fixed with current light party system we have now unless you want to put even more restrictions on players. Feast lp already lacks the population and good players adding more restriction to prevent ppl from qing with lower tiers just makes it worse. Then the rating system is so bad in lp you dont benefit in any way to q with a full high tier team. They should just delete lp feast and add a different mode like CTF feast is terrible cause of the medal system you could be dominating all game long when the other premade does 1 good push you lose anyways but thats a different story. Let the guy q with who he wants and you q with the players you want no need to blame a player for such stuff.
Long story short : feast party ranked is irrelevant

You going to call this one out as well? All this, "in-house" games.
Do we REALLY care though, or is this just the usual pretending to be angry thing we do. At this point id rather have 7 people that are honest and just tell me they arent going to do anything rather then what I cuurently get, which is 7 people that leave me alone to defend a node while they all chase 1 naked bard doing the maderville that sprints away whilst their other 7 party members have their way with me and our node.
Hi, im new
I pay 2 gil to get carried
At least they streamed it, I could have gotten on an account, rounded people up, and challenged them. The other person in question is doing like 2 matches a day and slowly gaining points at hours I don't know. I have a job and can't sit in queue all day to actually challenge them.
The only thing I don't like about that picture is a silver with a bunch of unranks, getting 25 per game when they should be getting 5 is what needs to be fixed.
Wow look at all these dirty win-traders trading wins to get their well-earned mounts. It's just too bad that their names were censored so we couldn't all raise our pitch forks and run them out of town. But at least you managed to catch them by spectating their matches from Exodus or on stream or something, so good work! XD
Guess we'll all just have to resolve ourselves to queueing up at 3 AM so we can stop these dirty dirty win-trading meanie pants!
I'm not your personal crusader and I wasn't watching whatever stream they were playing on or however you were watching them play/took those screenshots.
You're a smart and reasonable person (I assume) so if you think they were doing anything underhanded feel free to call them out yourself.
And? Being on the same server doesn't necessarily qualify as "in house" which is the only info you've posted. I don't know any of the details. I don't know their names. I wasn't watching them play. You were. You can come to your own conclusions on whether what they were doing was dishonest or not. And again you're more than welcome to call them out on it instead of coming to me to do it for you.
its important to note that almost no one inflating their points setting up in-house games is actually win trading, because by and large they'd come out behind in points due to how they're granted and lost.
win trading has almost no effect on the ranked boards because win trading exists more or less so pve'ers could get their pvp rewards with a minimum of difficulty, especially given how little the vast majority of non-pvpers actually seem to care about their performance in pvp. this is an issue too, but not really one that has anything to do with people effectively fixing ranked matches.
regardless of whether or not win trading by definition is going on, this (the subject of the op) is something that needs to be addressed. regardless of intentions, these players have the ability to play their pre-made 4v4s to their hearts content - we have custom lobbies now. any plausible deniability they might have had before custom lobbies is gone. the only real fix is one thats been tossed around a lot, since i saw the feast introduced: only have ranked feast open at several windows during the day. ultimately, though, this is just an issue of population size - in a game the size of ffxiv, any remotely healthy pvp player base would temper the ability to set up things like this. instead, because some skilless carebear can be certain there's generally no one queueing at most points in the day, it's trivial to arrange queueing into each other.
My last 10 or so matches were against people from ultros and lamia its nice to see some other teams sitting in queue.
While it's true I think that most people aren't "win-trading" in the traditional way (one team wins then they let the other team win, etc.) you actually can use that to rank up all the way to Platinum more or less as long as your teams are around the same rank, as you will gain +25 per win and only lose 1-5 if you're unranked/bronze, ~10 if silver, ~15 if Gold, etc.
The real problem is when one PvPer, they don't even have to be that good, takes 7 other people who have never played PvP and then runs games with them. They will have a near 100% win rate because they can easily carry their team against the other 4 people who have no idea what they are doing, and as long as they keep rotating out the 7 other people so that they have low rank, even if the PvPer is Gold+ they will continue to get ~20ish points per win and barely lose anything if they lose. Meanwhile a "legitimate" team will more than likely only be getting +5 points per win and losing -50 if they do happen to lose to a low ranked team. This means someone exploiting the system could very easily place much higher than legitimate teams, with it being much easier to do and it taking less time. This is supposedly what the top ranked player on Aether 4v4 is doing but you'd have to talk to the Aether people for more info on that. As well as at least one person on Primal doing it.
One way I believe they should fix/alleviate it is that the points gained/lossed should be based upon your individual rating instead of your teams average rating. For example, if you're in Gold but all your teammates are unranked, when you beat a team of 4 unranked players it should compare your Gold ranking to the opposing teams Unranked score and only give you minimal points. Similarly, if you lost it would compare your ranking to the enemy teams average ranking. This would slow down these people considerably and give back an advantage to teams that are playing legitimately.
