New Emotes you would like to see?

In a few other mmorpgs i've played there's a /playdead emote. It's so fun in pvp and occasionally works.

carry emote to literally carry people into dungeons.

I'd like to have the emotes that are already in the game but are cutscene only, like the startled male miqo'te emote.

Maybe a something-something for people who like to do a bit of RP, an emote which animates your character eating or drinking something. EDIT: Not in the exact same way your character does when actually eating something, but in a way which builds off that.

I also like the idea of a /joke, or a /silly of some kind.

I would like to ask would it be possible to make facial expressions permanent or until you press another? This has been something I know a lot of people would have loved for a long time now. And more idle poses if it wasn't too much to ask? For example your retainers all have a lot of stances they can take but you can get none of them. It would go a long way in setting your character apart and defining your identity.

Edit: I think it was a great idea to ad job unique poses with the victory poses. And I think it would be awesome if we got even more that are unique to each job themselves.

You can use the slap emote as a custom macro as a high-five, or a low-five like me since i am a lala, lol.

Well, it's been months since they last mentioned it, but I am still waiting for the new male Highlander pose they mentioned they're going to make due to the current pose being used by every ala /hildy

Since the highlander is pose seems to be inspired by body building poses then perhaps they could use one of them?

I like it, but I know the Midlander F "princess" jog drives some people crazy, so alternative runs and walks would be nice.

Personally, I always thought the speed-walker sprint of Roegadames was hilarious.

I want more dance emotes that are similar to Gold Dance from Gold Saucer. I like being able to preform.

Is there anyway that you can make normal /dance consistent dancing as well. I hate that I have to spam it while the other dances go on and on.

We have /thumbsup, why no /thumbsdown ?

Another vote for resting expressions. Resting lich face is funny but I'd prefer a calm smile that fits my character's personality. Would also love to have tail-specific control emotes for tailed races, like just a version of /wagtail from male miqo'te's joy emote, but only the control of the tail for more subtle emoting. It would feel nice to have a little more input with the non-human elements of the character since their non-human features are a big reason the people who play them chose them.

I just want class specific emotes. Lots of creative energy could be put into them.

During the Yo-kai watch event, in the cutscene when you meet Whisper, your character does this /exhausted animtion that I really want to see as an emote, sorry for the poor image, it's not the best example

I want an emote that either involves throwing a lala or having an Au Ra breath fire( I know its race specific but come on, you know it would be cool)

Squats from FF7

Pushups, squats, sit ups.

100 of each followed by a 10k run, an emote available only to level 60 monks.

Also, more alternate poses with your weapon drawn.

Has /praise been mentioned?

I want to /praise my wind-up sun.

I love the emote that Rauibahn has with Nanamo, the one where he lifts her up with his 1 hand and she justs sits there. I know that the odds of this happening is zero, since a Lalafell lifting a Roegadyn will look very weird, but one can hope, right?

Only if it comes with an emote to automatically drink juice after those emotes (Cookie for those who get the reference).

This isn't a unique emote exactly, more like another sitting pose, but maybe a way for our characters to lay on the ground? Sure, we can lay on the bed, but there isn't always a bed. Maybe the positions are different from the bed too, and it's useful for rp situations where your character might have passed out.

It's been ages since I've seen it, but IIRC, they kind of jump back a tiny amount and put both hands in the air (as shown). I think this could have worked well for /deny.

Umm, some married couple emotes for use in shared estates. I won't list a bunch, you get the idea.

Ok the double mounts is really more for the moogle chair, since you actually sit side by side.

I'd like to see job specific emotes. Like a persistent emote, for Bards, where they continuously strum their harp. Maybe even add harp music to it.

I've seen that! I thought it was the MiqoF /shock.

I always wanted the smoking pipe emote, I would pay extra for that. A lying on the floor would be really nice imo too, like the one in Dark Souls III.
Also beer drinking animation (other than the drinkable consumables animation).

Our /shock is pretty close, but they tuck their hands up by their chest, and the ears go a bit more flat. I've tried finding the CSs that have the hands-up emote, but I'm striking out so far! :(

In any case, yes to pretty much all of these... except that "seductive" one that the All Saints Wake miqo'te does. People already do gross enough things in public as it is, I really don't want to see people molesting one another/afk characters with things like that.

That emote is TOO expressive for when I use "sigh" most of the time (at least for my fem-roe). A simple inhale/shrug with or without a shaking head would be perfect.

P.S. I also shouldn't HAVE to create a macro for what should be a standard emote. I'd never remember to click it rather than type /sigh =P
