Regarding what? They never announce disciplinary actions regarding specific players. If they do anything you will know when they no longer appear in the rankings.

They may be preoccupied with patch hotfixes and the like. Ah, well.
Well it's clear, if you look at the ranking boards, that no action has been taken. That very fact contradicts the official statement SE made that is stickied at the top of this forum. This essentially means that SE is passively saying that it is ok to cheat, as they won't do anything about it. It is plainly obvious to anyone with any fraction of a functioning brain that those screenshotted by the OP are guilty of some sort of cheating. Those point gains and win perecentages are not natural in the slightest.
Really late to this but I just wanted to pop in and say that ping doesn't mean you can't compete. I play in New Zealand which has approximately the same ping as Australia and I PvP just fine, even managing to squeak my way into a gold rating in Feast. I heard that a couple of the top people in Feast on my datacenter also play from Aus/NZ, and one of my friends even plays from the Europe region which has the most horrendous ping coming from there and last I checked he was high up there in the ratings. Yes, there are disadvantages like it's harder to react to a melee LB but there are also advantages like if you quickly turn around corners around a wall it looks like you're going through stuff and it's real confusing, at least, that's what my friends told me. I always wondered why people seemed a bit slow when chasing me down.
500 ms ping to WoW sounds like you need a better ISP. My friends I played with in WoW prior to the Oceanic servers, we averaged about 200-250 ping and we were all over New Zealand and Australia. :x My couple of Australian friends also don't have that bad ping in this game either. We get about 250-300 ping if we don't use a VPN.
Hold on...is this particular group just now finding the time to all PvP together? Like right at the end of the season? Did the Middle East just get Wifi? 0.o
Sounds (and looks) like they were hoping to blitz the leaderboard at the end of the Season while Feast has been effectively dead and unpopular now for at least a few weeks. Possibly hoping this sitting comfortably at top wouldn't pay any to watch boards until few days before the season concluded, at which it would be too late for those usurped to catch up.
Seeing as he is still there in the rankings it looks like he will end up getting away with it anyway.
Yea I share that sentiment. It was as if they just started playing when 3.3 hit and the scene was going to die. It was pretty common knowledge feast would be empty. Not to mention they didn't even try when we did play so that tells me they wouldnt have tried against any other team. So in reality there's no real way to defend our spot against them and they're ok with that
Where the devs/community reps at tho...

This...
It's just super unprofessional and very hypocritical when someone is explicitly breaking the rules THAT ARE STICKIED IN A THREAD AT THE TOP OF THIS FORUM and nothing is being done about it. Whelp, I guess 8 legitimate players are getting screwed out of top 30 rewards, and 1 person out of top 10!
ignore this and i drop this game forever
Hopefully they learn a lot from this inaugural season of Feast because a lot went wrong and there are plenty of things to fix and improve on. Aside from the hacking/boosting, the way everyone just retired once they got 1050+ points is pretty sad considering its supposed to be the only real competitive mode in the game (this is a player based problem though of which even I am guilty of). The low and almost non existant interest in light party feast is another problem, there are way too many silvers in the top 30 for each data center when there shouldn't be any silvers in the top 30 at all. Dark Knight still sucks, Ninjas can still hide with heavy medal, the increased adrenaline crate frequency is lame, heavy medal stacks are too easy to accumulate imo (first kill gives a stack already? really?) the list goes on and on.
if they wanted feast to succeed, especially in the first season, they should never have put out shatter so quickly, period.
one of their worst pvp decisions by a mile, and there's a laundry list of them.
Based on the top stickied thread and GM interactions had before and after this post, there is no reason to expect any sort of direct response. I continue to monitor the leaderboard and the queues, and I still encourage others to do the same.
Yeah a very foolish move. Season should have been done at the same time of Shatter's release.
At this point, what upsets me is that no one even does feast anymore.
I look at all of the data centers and never see activity unless it's on Mana (There's been activity there quite often).
Hate to say it but someone cheating the system now doesn't even matter...there is no competition anymore in the Feast. It's dead...how will people even get on the leaderboards if it's never active?
:(
bump.

bump
One would say that's exactly why it matters. If it is deemed that they played the system, they took the spots of a lot of people who won't even get a chance to even fight and take back their spots because it's not active.
Was there really a need to bump a thread 4 hours after the previous post on a forum with this little activity? It's not like it left the first page. It even highlights what you haven't read yet!
My problem is mainly solo que. I'm very salty with how it died out. People just quit playing 100% and I have no way to be competative anymore... why even have leaderboards if no one actually plays the content after they get to the top? Might as well end every season in one or two weeks if that's the case...
People sit at the top because, at the top, losing means much more than winning. If you've clawed your way to the top through all the bads, it's a smart decision to stop risking your position by queue'ing for matches where you could be matched against bad players (repeatedly). I dropped from 20th or so to 34th on my data center after a string of losses and stopped queue'ing for matches with everyone else. I have 11 wins to go before the mount, and while I really want the mount, it's too risky while points still matter. I can get the mount next season.
To make things worse, because matches are so sparse, if you drop off the leaderboard there's a very high chance you won't even have the opportunity to claw your way back up again. The only way to remedy this is for your performance to be based on solo-play, but you cannot do that in a team match.
Seeing as cheaters are still on leaderboard, will be funny if they'll actually get their 'hard earned' rewards. What kind of message it'll send to a community?
Guys, I know we've all been wanting a response to this GLARING issue in The Feast, but worry not! In Shatter, casters are getting nerfed and matches will be shorter! They are also looking into ways to make it harder to play with your friends! Perfect!!! /s
Patch 3.35 probably won't be here until July 12th so they still have a week and half to do something about the alleged boosters. It would be nice if they did something soon since anyone trying to climb into the top 100 atm will find it nearly impossible to do so due to tge queues being dead. So knocking out the boosters would at least get some of the players currently on the fringe in. I won't hold my breath though.
How cute coming here to defend cheating
Ok so boosting is ok haha im taking about the people in the op
I know thats who i was taking too i Should of quoted who gives a rats ass anyway square wont ban that guy just like like the guys in solo throwing matches
Not completely relevant to this but I wonder who was removed from primal's top 100 in solo. 70 players moved up a spot without any point change in the top 100 at all, meaning someone likely was removed. Whether it be due to the person changing data centers or disciplinary reasons from SE is unknown though. I've never seen SE actually remove anyone from the rankings so this would a first for me if that is indeed what happened. Would make no sense to deliberately switch data centers before the season ended.
Its not just switching data centre even if you switch server in your current dc you will lose your feast rating. Some people have other priorities on Chaos there was someone from my ls who were back then 1st place but switched server and stopped playing feast. People dont want to wait months to switch server so its just normal (happened last week again ppl got higher rank without someone losing rating).
Are you sure about that? I was told the feast ranking would remain even if you switch server as long as you remain in the same data center. It makes no sense to have to wipe the feast ranking if you are moving withing the same data center because that ranking is still a reflection of how you are doing within that same field of players. The field hasn't changed. Pretty dumb of SE imo if switching servers within the same data center still resets rank.
Yes Im sure someone in my ls switched to other server within the same dc and got removed from top 100 even though he was place 1. You can also see it here http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...sden/thefeast/ if you scroll down to PvP Rating "PvP ratings will be reset when transferring to other Worlds." worlds = server
In that case it likely was a server transfer boot. Odd time to choose to server transfer when the season largely expected to end July 12th. But then again it's not like the rewards are great anyway it's all just bragging rights. And even that won't last very long.
The irony is pretty real at this point.
Hm...............
SE doesn't care about win trading.

So much for that stickied post.
They should get banned for the length of the next season
