And yes , I just have to agree with all the suggestions so far from facial/ body hair, tattoos, scars, more varied hairstyles, more "faces" to choose from, but sliders, more make up options etc...they are all good really suggestions and should be considered please SE.

This x1000! Tbh the hairstyles clip pretty badly already so longer wouldn't make a difference.

Did someone mention body sliders? I like to make my character thicker with a butt. The flat butts here are so gross, flat butts in general are gross.

Also, is it possible to stop making the hair so stiff looking? It's a few hairstyles that are long and they just look stiff.

Seperate make up and face paint! They are not the same!

I would love this so much along with arm hair and even leg hair but since this is a Japanese made game its extremely unlikely to happen.

Considering us Roegadyn's are big burly massive bears, us being super smooth just seems odd :L :s

I'd also love a full beard option, rather than one that just coats my cheeks and chin, I want it around the mouth as well fully for the face option I use :(

I completely understand chest hair and all of that but everything else such as makeup, hair, tattoos, face paint etc has no excuse! Step up SE :D

I'd say 'yes'. Honestly, the Black Desert customisation - whilst very in-depth - felt very disconnected from the game itself. The characters looked like they were pulled from one genre and awkwardly inserted into another without much regard to consistency. I feel like FFXIV's characters fit the game world far better.

I think he's just referring to the level of customisation. FFXIV could have an amazing level of customisation aswell as fitting the game perfectly.

I wouldn't like to see all-race-exclusive stuff stop being, well, race-locked. But yes, more unique things for each race sounds good. Some beard here, make up there, scars, etc. We already have a good amount of hair I guess. Some change on the updates every now and then would be amazing. :)

Now, there's no way to ask for a BDO character-customisation for example. There are things we can change, yeah, but I don't think that they can change all the customisation engine. You can add more makeup, scars, beards, hairs, but sliders... ehhh I don't think that it's possible.

While I would love more body appearance customization, what I'd love to see is more clothing color customization.

When we dye clothes, only one part is dyed. Yet many clothes have several parts. I would love to see 2 parts or 3 parts on the same item that can be dyed.
For example, Dhalmelskin Gloves have a brown leather X on them that I would love to dye red, with the gloves themselves being dyed white. This would look great on my White Mage. But alas, I am stuck with brown.

Also would love this, although someone once mentioned the level of work they'd have to do just to get old pieces of gear like this. I'd definitely love it for future pieces though. I hate those gear pieces that have an un-dyeable streak of colour through them. It ruins the look.

I don't see why not. They're going to release things like hairstyles anyway. I'm just asking for more variation in them instead of three short hairstyles, or two that are exactly the same but one with bangs and one without. Bangs should be an option of one hairstyle instead of SE being lazy and counting them as two.

Makeup and facepaint also isn't hard to implement, and if PS3 is really holding things like this back, then maybe it's time SE dropped it already.

Posting to add I'd love some body scars and tattoos too SE! :)

- Facial hair
- Body hair
- Body "types" and muscle toggles for all races and genders. (if slider is too much for you devs then stages can also work)
- Tattoos
- More faces (A 5 milion sub MMORPG with only 2-3 different faces is kinda silly. We all look like clones now)
- More eye shapes, noses, ears
- Body scars
- Real butts for everyone
- Remove the silly sandals we have when we use underwear or add an option to hide them
- Redesign the silly white underwear we have now or give a second black option which will look like a proper underwear.
- Stop censoring our character's body so much. We need nipples for males. I don't get it why we have an extremely blurred pair of nipples like it's something insulting.
- An option for real eyebrows for Hyur Highlander (some of us break the tradition after all we are warriors of Light and we roam the world we are not staying in our home village keeping traditions and dancing around the fire).

Please devs we keep asking for these for so long.

Only Highlander have almost visibility of nipples while big body like roe doesn't have it.

These things really need to happen!

From what I've read, there was an underwear slot in 1.0 that always had to have something in it. The Swimsuits and Hempan Underpants (and related items) are remnants of that system

I would like my midnight black skin back please. This greyishness is not as good.

Thanks for your support/input guys! I think a lot of people overlook the customisation aspect of the game and settle with their characters because of other priorities, but it doesn't mean SE can't provide more variety when they do add more customisation ^^.

Because most boots/shoes have some form of heel. If we were completely barefoot without shoes, we'd be hovering said "default heel" height above ground.
That said, I'd also prefer to be able to be completely barefoot =/ It's not like we don't hover or clip into the ground as it is, after all.

I did a quick Google and found this, just an example of what can be done with hairstyles. Clipping isn't really that much of an issue (if you don't like the clipping then you don't have to wear the hairstyle). I'd just love more variety.

Some of these hairstyles looks amazing! But I would like more dye customization, and more in-dept character creation customization. More tattoos, scars, and for the love of .... Please seperate the hors from the damn au aura faces and let us at least choose some colors for our horns and scales, if they have to be dark or light, at least let us choose the light or dark colors we would want!

Hello all, I'm back after a month trip away from home, and have just recently seen the new hairstyles. I'm pleased there's more variation such as the long braid and short hairstyles, so thank you SE!

If I were to take this a step further, I would request that we can dye our hair ties, for example the red band with the new braid. This would be really nice and allow us to match outfits more easily.

I don't care enough about the lore to be bothered by that. I'd much rather just be able to look however I want. In 1.0 clans were even more restrictive, I think mooncats couldn't have any red hair and suncats couldn't have any blue/green hair. They changed that in 2.0, so make another change now.
