The <item> placeholder is set to blank after each use. Thus if I accidently send a message that contains <item> to the wrong channel/target, rather than pressing "up" and then return to correct the mistake, I must again select the item and then choose the "Link" subcommand again to avoid sending a <blank> where the <item> should be. This is cumbersome and annoying and I think should be fixed.

Here's a big one. Please reset our skills on wipes in 8 man content. I understand how people would be able to take advantage of it in 4 man content but if it were only applied to 8 man content there shouldn't be anyway to exploit it.

It's embarrassing, but I mostly forget how I met some people and why I added them to my Friends List. I know that almost all of them are a result of good experiences from Party Finder or that they are expert crafters and helped me on some relic weapon quests, but I often forget who's who.
For the majority of all the mounts we have, if not all, they are all either an enemy or a novelty. Is there a reason why we got that insect thing instead of a puk mount from the Vath beast quests??
Can we get an option to disable some of the mandatory text that spams the screen at various times? Examples:
- FATE JOINED/COMPLETE/FAILED
- VENTURE COMMENCED/COMPLETE
- DUTY COMPLETE (turning in items for GC daily DoL/DoH)
- Unable to perform action at this time
- Gardening results

Could we have an option for a text-list style inventory rather than icons? There are plenty of items that have the same icon (Glamour prisms, Crafting Materials, Fish, even some gear share the same icons.) I'd prefer seeing a text-list of my inventory rather than having to hoover over items in order to see their name.
3rd Person Camera Position.
In 1.0 we could adjust our 3rd person camera up and down freely, now we can only adjust it up and down from a fixed point causing an angle type view.
Could we please have both options?
Duty Finder and Identifying Fellow Server Residents.
Since so much is done through Duty Finder with people from multiple servers, could we have an easy way to identify people from our home server?
Maybe an Icon next to their name, Their server name displayed when we Examine them, or a listing at the end of the dungeon the same way PvP has at the end of a match?
I know I could just ask everyone each dungeon where they are from, but I get tired of doing that. I think it would help build community within servers if we could Identify each other easily in DF.
Could we have an option that would allow the chat log to fade away or minimize to 1 or 2 lines of text after a set amount of inactivity?
Do you plan on making any improvements to NPC Chat-Bubbles?
There are FATEs where NPC Chat-Bubbles are unreadable because there are so many and they stack over each other. Most of these Chat-Bubbles just say things like "Grrrr!" or "Ahhh!" and having so many of them clustered together blocks my view of the actual battle and just looks cluttered.
Also NPC Chat-Bubbles can be quite obstructive during trials and dungeons. For example, Good King Moogle Mog Fight has so many Chat-Bubbles because of the singing Moogles that it blocks target markers making it hard to see which moogle I should be attacking.

Prior to patch 2.2 Macro Icons are never dim, o not show cooldowns etc. Then that all changed because people wanted to know when cooldowns are available before using macros. But I was wondering if a new syntax can be added to the /macroicon command to remove the cooldown an numbers like the original systems, for text, gearset, and other macros where the cooldown time is irrelevant.
Speaking of icons, can you add new icons with all the sigils of the Twelve?
Can an option be implemented to discard items straight from retainer.
Do you have any plans to improve inventory functionality? The current system generally provides enough space, however the need to constantly switch between so many separate, small inventories is somewhat tedious. It would be much more convenient to have one large inventory with an aggregate capacity dependent on # of retainers, e.g. the standard 2 retainers would give you 350 spaces.
Have you ever considered allowing players mounts that instead of riding a chocobo or dragon they instead sprout wings to take flight. For example the summoners level 3 limit break uses the wings of Bahamut in the animation will we ever see these wings in the form of a mount or another type of wings maybe some angelic or fairy type wings instead of the player relying on a mount to soar the skies.
Please consider removing the white circles from the GCD, or implement an option to revert back to the more dark design. The idea is to see the cool downs you might need that have a long timer, not continually show the annoying white circles every 2.5s on the GCD. Please change this. We don't need reminder if our GCD is coming back up every ~2.5 seconds.

HOUSING
Although there is alot of new additions to Housing on the way, is it possible to see some major changes to the current Plots such as changing the garden ground from grass to something else like cobblestone or sand in order to allow players to theme their houses better?
Aesthetic Changes
Currently there are a few Aesthetic items or features in the game that havent been changed or added to for a long time such as Facial Tattoos or Free Company crest designs. Will there be any additions to these in the future?
Icons (RP)
Currently Roleplaying is on the rise as an alternative way to enjoy the game in comparison to what it was even a year ago. Are there any plans to support this method of play in the near future such as unique status icons or a supportive system like the Mentor system that was recently added?
HOUSING
FC Housing has access to Private Rooms and an FC Workshop. Will there ever be any additional "Rooms" added such as training rooms which allow players to place practice Dummies indoors in a Dojo style area for a more "Authentic" feel rather than just hitting something in a garden?

FC Housing currently has the "Private Chambers" feature. Are there plans or is it possible to implement these chambers into private housing? This could potentially go a long way in supporting the Roleplay community as well. Many players who RP want to have the feel of a Free Company for RP purposes but dont want to commit to a full time RP FC or would rather just have a place they could go to as a "Scenario Environment" to RP in with as much authenticity as possible, without having to jump into a full time RP FC.
This has been questioned many times and SE is dodging it.

It's way too little. Players have dedicated large amount of time for something that was running on a stingy 200 capacity slot.
Could we have a way to save Hud layout and other UI configurations account wide?
I play more than one character on my account and I was wondering if Hud/UI configurations could be saved account wide rather than having to do it over and over for each character we play.

Please separate the player character buffs and debuffs onto separate UI elements so that we can have debuffs at a different location to buffs.
On many fights with exclusive debuffs it would help tremendously if we could have the debuff bar to a more visible location without moving the location of buffs.
Can you please fix the issue of debuffs afflicted (like dots) not showing up on enemies (particular in large scale content like void ark/diadem) on the UI even though it is ticking/on the enemy.
This issue happens even with the "Display only detrimental effects you inflict" option selected.
Also on a similar topic, for the option "Display only detrimental effects you inflict" can you make this apply to the focus target window as well, as a separate option preferably.
Can we get some type of minion check list in game? Or some feature that shows us what minions we have and what we are missing?
I buy minions off the board sometimes but its difficult since I don't have every minion I own memorized and thus can sometimes mistakenly buy one I all ready own.
Can we get some type of setting for the target rings?
As a positionary DPS it can be very difficult to move around an enemy or world boss when I can't see it's current direction or target ring. I like seeing all the cool animations and effects from other players in the game but with all the flashing and such I can't see the target ring. Can we please get an option to possibly put the target ring on top of these animations or make it so that it is more visible in some way?
I find myself too often staring at the hotbars, to do not miss the moment of ready weaponskills, so i miss some animations, colors, effects and general battle pleasure.

were you thinking about adding kind of middleScreen-bound GCD alerts similar to Visual Effects implemented to the edges of the screen, or to simply expand funcionality of mentioned Visual Effects?

Due to strict priority of buffs/debbufs sorting, will you consider manual priority selection for player buffs and enemy debuffs sorting?
There are currently some types of statusAilments-type selections, but they didn't solve my problems:
1) Since the limited amount of slots for maximum visible debbufs, seeing your own DoT on a target may be unavailable. On the other side, selecting "Show only mine" option is removing possibility of class-shared debbufs like Virus effect or Dancing Edge/Storm's Eye effect, so overwriting skills happens in wrong moment.
2) Each time buff is used (i.e. Darkside/Grit/Shadow Wall) they are mixed with Protect, Stoneskin,Synastry or others differently than before. Before i manage to catch, which moment-important buffs are still active, i happen to pop another cooldown. That is, i would find it really helpfull to see an option to set own-casted buffs separted from those i recieve, or static buffs like protect/stoneskin/Grit/Darkside separted from others.

Can we have a reskin of the UI to make it look like ARR concept UI?

Would it be feasible to implement UI skins into the game? Say, for instance, if I wanted the option to replace the current UI appearance with a 1.0/Legacy aesthetic (but not the actual 1.0 UI), or maybe menus that have a similar appearance to the older Final Fantasy games.
