Tanks have a solid role in Feast; Medal Hog.
There is no reason DPS or Healers should be picking up Medals. The more you carry, the more you drop when killed. Go past a certain number and you start taking more damage.
Medals were clearly made with Tanks in mind. It is something they can both focus on, and something that plays to their strengths. Players drop half their Medals when killed, that first kill is going to drop 50 Medals, and whoever picks it up is going to take that 10% Vulnerability Up. Drop it on a DPS and you risk them dying and losing you 75 Medals. Unless we only have 2 seconds to pick up Medals, you're going to want to have Tanks grabbing them...
Couple that with Assists, and you've got a situation where shit might actually feel rewarding... Playing Healer or Tank (properly) in Seize just isn't rewarding. At all. I can stun lock a Healer (or provide enough healing to allow one to push), and that can be the only reason Ninja McFluffButt managed to score a kill at all, but I get nothing for it... Assists correct that... Achievements brought about through strict role requirements go a long way too. Unless they add Assists to Seize, I'm doubtful I'll ever go back to it... I'm sick to death of dealing 90% of the damage to someone, and having someone else take the credit... I'm sick of being the only healer in a group that doesn't show an ounce of gratitude when I opt to give us a fighting chance instead of working on the thing I actually care about...
