Honestly I'm a little shocked by someone who played in v1 saying player feedback doesn't matter because even I know this isn't true. The burden is on the fanbase to tell the devs what they want and what they expect. It's on use to give feedback and suggestion to the dev otherwise we have no room to complain. Thanks Dyvid, I had my suspiscions! If you want to twist my words that's fine. What I am saying is for a short term solution it doesn't matter as much as a long term one. I know this as well as anyone. Great job on speaking before you have quite a pedigree. Instead of shutting down other folks, you can lend your voice as you have in the past. Now we can continue the discussion!

We are being helpful. If they don't know how we feel how can they make this game better? Notice how none of us (for the most part) have torn down the devs and said they're terrible or negated all the work they did for us in 1.0.

I too am a 1.0 vet, and this is still hard for me to swallow with all that's come around it.

So again, we are doing our best as a fanbase to give the devs what they need to do their job. Feedback.

If this is not good enough for you or you think you do a better job at it then the rest of us, then I guess we'll always disappoint you.

The devs however, will continue to hear our voices and perhaps know where to focus their efforts in improving the game in all the wonderful ways they already have and more.

I think we are disagreeing on best method to speak with the development team as customers. A key thing I go by is, sometimes general feedback is good and other times specific feedback is more suited. In regards to adding wards, I thought specifics was more important. Balmung and Adamantoise share the same data center so we are using the same rubber band so to speak. I can also say I understand Balmung has a huge demand for housing where Adamantoise doesn't. The point of my feedback was to suggest to the devs instead of add a blanket 5 wards per server, reallocated the resources to the people that need it. In other words, instead of 5 wards between us give Adamantoise 2 new wards and Balmung 8 new wards. Give the supply where the demand is.

I too am upset over housing availability and want to get past this hurdle as quick as possible so we can start adding fun things to it. I also think the devs need specific feedback on housing fix because they know we are angry but it's clear they needed better feedback over how to fix it since it's been 2 years since 2.1 and we are still fighting over lots.

But I also acknowledge they have giving us a game plan and it sounds like it mergers player suggestion and actually implementation. Anyway I'm going to bow out of this specific discussion. The Housing Forums has some good ideas if you want to check it out.

Not you specifically, but lots of people are they have a plan its 3.3. Let us consider May as a release date for 3.3. That will be 17 months where houses have not been available on at least one server. I do not count the less then 15 mins on Christmas day as available. Is 17 months an acceptable road map to give people the benefit of the doubt. In those 17 months they have added Gold saucer and all it entails, yet have been unable to fix housing. Then they added more Gold Saucer content Lord of Vermillion that on most servers has been DOA.

Now they have been unable to get housing to work to what i have described as reasonable. Yet have spent time designing bikes. Spent time putting themselves into fates. Spent time traveling the world for festivals. Had repeated Live Letters, answered questions about when can I buy the plushie. Yet have not out and said what the current housing system can and can't do. I do not like the current inventory issue. But I understand they have addressed why players can't carry more. Why have we not seen more wards? Did they make a choice to give servers to rarely used content (hate to bash golden saucer again). Was there a place to discuss what we wanted resources used on?
