Slightly off-topic, but I main monk, and use a PB opener on nearly every boss fight (the only exceptions being when it's on CD for whatever stupid reason), complete with blood for blood, internal release, and final chakra as soon as all my damage buffs are up, and have almost never had a tank be unable to hold hate. The entire time I've played monk. Every tank can build hate faster than a monk, regardless of PB. You should, entirely, and completely, use perfect balance in your opener on every boss. Also: Sometimes on large trash packs for rockbreaker spam (and getting GL3's damage bonus on elixir field asap).

The only times I've had issues is with tanks who are both very undergeared compared to me and inexperienced. And in that case, it doesn't really matter because I'll pull hate eventually anyway unless I skip some combo steps with form shift to gimp my DPS (or, as I did recently, remove all my accessories).

Seriously: Use your peanut butter opener, and toss on some blood for blood as jam.

It's astounding how they didn't find a problem with it until the first day it can be into action.

It's also my first time hearing about how maintenance/server downtimes are not counted toward the 45 days. That's...kind of important for anyone that wants to get a house.

According to an fc member ppl on reddit say some servers are just opening up now

According to the reddit live feed many servers are had the demolitions occur in the last 20 minutes (mainly Primal data centre).

Do users need to relog to see these demolitions or are they real time?

Yeah I'm hearing ppl talking about plots free'ing up. Maybe its just for lower pop servers atm?

As much as I have a private house myself, I have just logged into Tonberry to check on the plots beside mine which are due to be demolished. None of the two are demolished, yet I share the sentiments of players who have yet to own one. It is ridiculous to think that the same subscription fee is paid to other MMOs, yet those games satisfy EVERY of their customers with respect to housing. A bad series of disappointments have overwhelmed me. I have since changed my sub from a 3-mth sub to a monthly one. Preparing to abandon ship anytime.

Houses opened in Ultros. I checked Goblet where my house is and 90 of them opened.

Oh look, every plot is already claimed. That didn't take long.

Constant reminder that people are probably buying this as a personal house which they won't ever use.. I'm seeing at least 3 people on my server camping the same house as I am that already have an existing mansions somewhere.

it took awhile for word to spread on Behemoth, but they did go fast in Mists and LB. Mists is sold out, LB has 2 medium and 1 large, but Goblet has a bunch of all types still available as of 2:15 PST (didn't count, but at least 2 dozen)

I'm so sorry for anyone who was waiting all night for this and didn't know when it was coming up so they eventually went to go have a good time with their family on Christmas and so they missed it. The way they did this just absolutely sucked.

ayyy i got one, and now I'm selling it.

Someone finally bought the Mansion in Mist Ward 2 that has been inactive since 2013. So happy for that. Hopefully the new wave of homeowners stick around. Mist was getting lonely.

Meanwhile on Famfrit, and possibly other realms, houses still aren't demolished.

Downtimes are fun.

Only handful of houses seemed to be reclaimed on balmung, pretty sure there were even houses of players that don't even play anymore then logged in sometime to keep the house they never use.

You are aware that on any other time people may have been at work or out and about as well, right? There is NEVER a perfect time to do something like this... from now on you won't even know WHEN plots will free up either.

Yeah basically. I know it's kind of selfish but I'm trying to collect all 9 types of houses.

After today I'm 5/9. With two Mansions, and 3 Smalls. Almost there!

Maybe people could have planned to not have been out of the house when this happened, if they had any idea when it was going to happen. For how long people have waited for this, it's inexcusable that they wouldn't give a clear idea of when houses would be finally freed up. They gave more information about it to the people who aren't even paying.

Currently All plot in tonberry are occupied / not demolished.

barely managed to snag a house on Balmung. Medium house in the Lavender Beds, a 30mil house.

I dunno. I feel like crap 'cause we also donated so our FC could get a house and they couldn't get one - not enough came up.

The people they were following literally logged in long enough to hold the house (probably using the free campaign) so there's a lot of frustration in FC chatter at the moment.
