Not everyone's motto is "tank responsibly," alas. I try to give groups the option. If they want a full clear, I give them a full clear. But some tanks will say if you want to control the run, go tank. (A horrible attitude, imo.)

I completely disagree with your statement. There is no reason why one person's voice should matter more than 3 others.
If someone can be carried through in a fast run, then they can technically complete it. So by handle, I assume you mean mentally. In which case I would say your conclusion is incorrect. The 'fun' level of going slow is drastically reduced to not only being less fun, but actually being a hinderance to fun and to be quite boring. Mentally, this is not how I want to spend my time playing a game.
I just think people can't make their minds up. I'm not going ask anything or demand anything. If you want full then you'll get full, but if it's just you that does and no one else wants it, then no full clear.
In other words, I'm pretty reasonable in party. All you have to do is open your mouth. I cannot read minds, and frankly that would be a horrible ability to have.
those same 3 people can be in the wrong. Like 3 highly gearedd ppl vs fresh geared tank. so what? tank gotta leave so they can get a higher geared tank??
I thoink the concept of majority vote, and needs of the meny have a few execptions
I was ina dungeon run yesterday and a lvl 34 lancer and a ??? thm in halatali was doing their own thing. Then blamed it on me, and did nothing with communicating much being a Gla in the starter dungeons suck, very little eminity skills and very little dmg output. And spam flash doesn't help cept drain mp. They said it was my fault for not marking mobs. It getting old, itsa like u mark mobs ppl complain, you don't mark mobs ppl complain.
Also doing full dungeon runs and bosses as intended helps newbies out more then speed running a dungeon, and ignoring boss machanics.
Lots of people complain about unskilled players, how can ppl learn if higher level ppl bum rush dungeons ignoring fights and mechanics? reading a guide, tool tip and watching a vid only goes so far. The training dummy doesn't help learn. consistent battles trying various skills in various ways helps.
Personally speaking I think in most cases newbies needs should come first, as they are new and learning. The purpose of roullette is to help other out.
I like it when people recognise that I'm a new tank with crappy gear and lead the way to the mobs that they want me to pull and explain any unique mechanics coming up.
I finally learned why so many people don't say anything during a run. It gets kinda awkward doing a run, wiping over and over and still pretending to be friendly.
The thing is, we get like 100 - 120 Bonus Poetics for the Low/Story Roulettes. Other than the completion bonus, there's no reason for many Lv60 people to be there. On some servers, it takes almost an hour for PF to fill to do ANY dungeon almost, so we have DF for that.
One thing to point out, is that sometimes it may take one full dungeon pull a longer time to complete than two half-dungeon pulls and you're getting more xp at the end (one full dungeon completion for 100,000xp or two half-dungeon completion for 200,000xp total).
That's 50% accurate. I got kicked a few times when I wanted to pull everything for the xp. Even people who needed the xp didn't want me pulling everything. Had a healer NOT heal me until I "...learn not to pull everything...". Like, wtf kind of community is this???
Then, they wonder why they are in queue for 20 minutes due to no tank... Umm... He's still a level behind the next dungeon.
