I am perfectly happy with special recipes for specialists even though I am currently an omni-crafter I am still in favor of such. I would like SE to keep component recipes outside of specialist recipe tree though and instead kept in non-specialist recipe tree, specialist recipes to me should be end product recipes including things like gear, especially glamour gears and housing items etc ideally.

Square pretty much has no idea what they're doing with specialist recipes, even as bad an idea as they are. Look at the ALC, who had the perfect opportunity to be relevant as a specialist with max-ethers, or maybe even 3-per-craft battle potions so people could better meet dps checks in fights without breaking their bank. How did neither of those happen as a specialist recipe?
