Victory under the Canopy achievement???

poped in besaid too~~

Started 15 minutes ago on Trabia (2pm gmt+1 - switzerland). Finally \o/

So question...is it on the same time on each server?? meaning if on trabia was at 4pm four days ago, will it be up at 4pm now on Trabia, or the time can change??? anyone knows this?

It began 20 minutes ago in Gysahl, at 6pm (GMT+1 - Spain)

@ Glaurung : It changes, it's not always the same time on the same server (happened at times like 3am, 3pm, 7pm, etc). I guess it has a few specific hours it can pop (like the 3pm mark, yesterday it happened at 2 pm but we just changed hour from daylight saving, so i would've been 3 pm again if we hadnt changed hour), so that people from the three major timezones can get it.

Thanks Patafix, couldnt be on for much time to see at what time popped on Wutai this time..i hope i get it next time! :)

The guy for Camp Glory just spawned in town (00:00 am AEST) 14:00 GMT

Just thought I would share an observation; Gysahl popped at 8am on the 1st, 11am on the 5th, and tonight it just popped at 8pm. Similar to what Patafix said above as well as other various reports of spawn times, I'm thinking the time is not random but cycles through set times to give exposure to different regions.

8am->11am->8pm->11pm->repeat

I'll try to see what happens on the 11th and post back here. All times are CST (GMT-6) and adjusted for the recent time change.

What time zone are you in Siks? I have sat here almost 3 days and nothing LOL

Ok I have been tracking this achievement for the past 2 weeks and read this thread through and through and would like to tell you all that the post Siks said was true.


The next three pops are on 11-17(12pm midnight), 11-21(9am est) and 11-25(12noon est).


Its is DEFINITELY in a 4 day cycle and Im 99% certain it pops in the time cycle Siks said. Got mine today at 9:19pm est. The attack lasts 15 minutes, and there is only 4 total pops in a 2 hour window. Ex. 9:05-9:20; 9:35-9:50; 10:05-10:20; 10:35-10:50.

I camped Emerald Moss from 11 am pst till 2 am pst yesterday, I never saw the Npc pop. I might need to camp it all day on the 17th, it looks like it popped that morning yesterday. :(

Sorry, meant to mention that it was particular to the server, the times I posted above were for Rabanastre. So if you can find anytime it popped on your server, you should be able to deduce its pop time for the 17th.

It finally popped here on Saronia @ 6:00 Pst and still going if anyone on Saronia needs it.

Poped on Lindblum at 6PM (GMT+1) if anyone still need this one.

So I'm in Wutai, does this mean I have to wait for Thursday to come in order for me to actually get this achievement? If this is true what time would I have to do it on Thursday? I'm EST... Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i don't think so. i made a new thread about the 1.20 invasion event(s) but no one seems to have found anything yet.
