this is very similar to what I had been trying to draw for an entry. I couldn't get my drawing to look the way I wanted so I didn't enter but I must say this is nicely drawn for braid detail.

It's cute but we already have a lot of pigtails in game. Though I will admit it is different and unique from the other pigtails.

I want to know how entry number 9 even made it to the final ones without being disqualified? we all know that was completely taken from Final Fantasy 8 Quistis
if that was the case I would have exactly done that and gone with a style they've already created and have in their roster of characters in the FF world.

For femalesince i wasnt female at the time I was having a lot of throughts about the female hairstyle I wanted to go for a serah/messy/long hair while having a high ponytail hairstyle since theres not hairstyle like that But I was hoping that a hairstyle like the one from omgtree could make it to the finals :( since that was my second option for female hairstyle but with bangs

Going to point out that #1 looks exactly the same as #14 too. #9 isnt even original... it's Quistis' hair from FF8. and #10 doesn't even have a back view. This contest doesn't even follow it's own rules. D: Judging by this thread it looks like they didn't really look over all the hairstyles.

I feel we, as a forum, should petition. It is clear that, generally, we are unimpressed by the selections of the finalists. If this is supposed to be geared toward us, then we should let them know, formally, that the choices do not represent our desires effectively. Thoughts?

This hairstyles is incredible! Exactly what I wanted for my character. So bummed that this isn't a finalist. Beautiful, mature, and elegant. It had everything.

The efficacy of online petitions is endlessly up for debate, but I do think that it wouldn't hurt to have a thread specifically highlighting our displeasure, rather than hijacking other threads.

I'm sad this one didn't get chosen. It's an adorable punk hairstyle. Oh well.

Here's mine, I wanted to go for something simpler that I felt would fit in with the kinds of styles we already have. I wanted to have another option for a slightly shorter style that avoids the dreaded clipping that was different to the current choice of twintails or a short crop. I thought it might go nicely with the new Moonfire Faire items that seem to be very popular at the moment?

I wanted an 80's inspired side-tail, and admittedly a hairstyle that's kinda similar to one of my OCs. I'm glad that some side-tail options did make it, though!
