As would I, if you;re no gonna use the Isgard icon for Dravania and the Sea of Clouds, then I want them to be under the "Other" category. Keep the lists consistent.

I'd quite like to use the ones from the houses of Ishgard, though I understand that you may keep them locked for lore reasons...
I also completely agree with the guy asking for customisable map icon colours. Such a small change and really, really critical to some of us; I could make it easier on myself by switching from Maelstrom to Flames for better colour contrast but that's an actual gameplay imbalance caused by a trivial interface decision. I'm tired of letting my PVP team down just because I can't easily differentiate the colours on the map. My previous topic on it was here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ompany-Colours
And another thing I'd really like is some way to upload (and download) configuration settings and gearsets from the server on the login screen, a feature FFXI had. It doesn't have to be in real time or automatic. I play on PS4 and live in constant terror that I will lose my settings since there's no way to back them up aside from a full system backup, which takes hours and isn't always reliable. It also makes it annoying to switch between game clients, which ultimately means I'm spending less money on the game ;)
It makes me so sad to see Crystal Tower dead, I don't have the minions yet :(

And if you can get permission an actual Minion type Minion, yes the little yellow ones with the goggles but that's just me =)

I posted this in another thread but, could we get more exp from fates that are scaled way to high?
Please begin including the name of the person who initiates a vote to kick in the message "You have been dismissed from both the party and the duty." It's very diffucult to give the GM team accurate information about who is abusing the system. Change the message to "You have been dismissed from both the party and the duty by "insert name here". so that the instigator can be more accurately pointed out.
Please remove the ability to "Vote to Kick" from PVP. The game already removes unproductive players in the form of the AFK removal system. It's way too easy for players to abuse this system in this setting. Not enough is being done to punish players who abuse it, so it needs to be removed.
Please let retainers be sent after Hidden items that we have discovered (like Titanium Ore, etc). It would also be nice if they could be sent after items from level 50 unspoiled nodes and clusters. It would just make sense for retainers that are over the level of the item to be able to gather it if we had.
Here are my ideas for the game
inventory:
Personal player chest- similar to free company chest but for players, when you click the chests out in the would you have an option <personal> <free company>. with personal you can bring up retainer inventory and freely move itens to and from retainer and sell them. This itenm can be placed in fc room or personal housing as well.
tackle box- instead of using our inventory we should use the bait selection menue as out tackle box, itrs already in the game, just make it inventory.
lables for retainer- outside of names we should have the option to lable our retainer such as "weapons" "market" "geear"
secoond ring slot in armory: we use two rings should have 2 slots for storage
Party finder:
1) faster updated drop down menue- ypu add more content but not fast enough to add to the drop down menue "refer to comment" info is limited, and not everything shows.
2) more options- add tags like "learning" "farm" "clear" "experienced only" "experience run" "speed run" so people can customize their party more. And have tags like experience only be grayed for first time runners much like item level option.
3) search/filter by tag: let people who are looking for a party find what they want by tags. experienced people only looking for experience only groups. newcomers welcome shows pt with that tag.
4) looking for party menue: when use looking for party a new tag on party finder shows people looking for party for content that people wish to run, no one even uses "looking for party" as it barely has a window for it outside player search.
Duty finder:
1) More rewards for doing roulette: add a dailies npc much like challange log where players can do daily quests that use each roulette as each role. players earn points that can be used for glamour, minions, token vouchers, gear, mounts, hairstyles, cash shop vouchers.
2) better filter for roulette: Add a low level, mid level high leveol roulette and seperate dungeong from 15-25, 28-40, 45-60. Take out story trials for low level roulette and add normal trials, hard trials, extreme trials.
3) multiple que for roulette: be able to que more then 1 roulette at a time
vote dismiss:
1) add more reasons in vote: we need more refinement to the system add "undergeared" "not playing role" as possible options to vote dismiss.
2) add "reason" box: to limit vote dismiss abuse as a "reason" box so players doing "cheating" "harssasment" fill out a reason as to whats going on which is then filed with GM to investigate, wrongful vote dismiss, and you get gm jailed for 30 min.
3) more "vote dismiss" allowence: make it 3 kicks per 4 hours. Having only 1 kick per 4 hours is hard when you run into trolls, cheaters, undergeared players, harassing players daily at any given time.
4: all or nothing: full party must agree to vote dismiss. 3/4 must agree. 7/8 must agree. Majority voting isn't working more so in 4 man content, and in most cases its who can vote dismiss who first.
5: add a 15 min timer if you got vote dismis sas harrassment, cheating. no one should be rewarded for being a jerk.
leave duty:
lower the timer from 30 min to 15 min, not everyone leaves duty because of content fishing. Some prefer to leave a hostile enviroment more so if vote dismiss is being rejected. And a person should be disrupted from playing over that.
Mentor system:
npc signs you up as a mentor and get a special icon, this icon can be turned on and off at will. Mentors get added bonuses much like refer a friend. "token vouchers" "mentor glamour" token voucher, silver and gold feather vouchers. With status on if you do content in a group with sprouts (leves, dungeons, fates, quests) you get added seals, and points to vouchers for tokens, and add mentor glamor (solld version of company gear with leg and and feet gear, and leve npc gear that is dyable).
in doing roulette as a mentor you get more gil, exp, exp, tokens for daily.
those are my ideas enjoy.
Fix the 2nd floor balcony door for 2 story houses.
When I switch to crafter, I instantly get maximum CP. When I switch to a gatherer, I only get 400 GP even if my maximum is 650. I have to stand a wait for a minute or two before starting gathering. What's worse, if you die on battle class, then switch to a gatherer it starts with 0 GP.
We desperately need some (if not all) of these QoL changes in the game. At this time, I would seriously not mind forgoing a patch of content to a massive QoL patch in general. Like for example, besides just these suggestions others in general regarding character customization and other Duty Finder woes, like not being able to queue with the personal Chocobo out. Whatever upgrades that need to be made to their servers, should take presidence for a patch if it could make these things possible. We've come passed our first expansion and we still have many limitations left over from ARR.
1) Ehh. I could go either way. I certainly wouldn't mind having a higher daily maximum (two or three runs) on the bonus though, especially if the majority of exp were to come from the mobs themselves (so there's no real conflict over full-clearing), and/or the ability to queue for a roulette and a specific dungeon at the same time.
I mostly just wish that High Level roulette would be relevant again, leves automatically reset to an unused state if you enter duty during a leve (but include 25% of all mob kill xp as bonus xp at the end instead), that Leveling roulette was worth doing more than once per day, and that perhaps DFing old content would reduce the ilvl gap between players a bit (average the ilvls of all included players with the average ilvl of the party (with the lowest ilvl player omitted from the average)).
2) Would gladly pay a few bucks just for that, especially if it reduced you to near-minimum ilvl and automatically gave you 15-20% echo (which you could then turn off for a challenge mode).
3) This! Reduce the debuff slightly for new content and remove it for all old / DF-able content. Maybe increase LB build by up to 10% for a 'perfect' comp (no debuffs) party in DF.
4) This, but clearly not the party-wide benefit or new player message except prior to the actual first clear.
5) Have pets teleport to their owner any time they would be locked out or would otherwise disappear from going out of range, whether a mob attacks you and your pet decides to attack it and vanish 40 yalms later or Garuda starts attacking before actually entering the boss room.
6) In addition to this I'd honestly just love if there was a small outer area that would cause us to be temporarily unable to attack and show a highly visible warning that we're going out of range.

8) Would love this, but I'd also like to be able to vary the context menu situationally (e.g. if the sender is part of your LS, FC, or friends' list), whereupon I could, say, remove the direct Blacklist, Report Spam, and Report Cheating options, or at least put them under a "More" list. Would also like to be able to directly go to Search Info. It's kind of annoying to get a tell from someone asking if they can join your PF or whatnot and you can't even immediately see what jobs they have at what level.

30) And please more savable HUDs in general, at least for those of us not using PS3s... It's client-side anyways... Or rather, HUDs that I can swap through without browsing for the file each time, possibly even swapping with a macro/binding.
This honestly covers just about all the 'fixes' I'd like to see, with a few exceptions:
- Make the inventory's "Sort" not just an action but also a mode (always occurring as the inventory/armory chest opens). It facilitates little when you have to hit it each time.
- More PF options. Heavensward content in PF. Multiple simultaneous searches, where the results can be prioritized in appearance order.
- Market Board searches improved. Can find things that don't necessarily begin with the search word (e.g. Longsword, to find all longswords), and can include multiple search terms (woodworking, 5 to find a G5 carp glam prism). Automatically retry the search once if no results appear.
- Full CP/GP upon switching to crafter/gatherer (maybe not full GP for gatherer...).
- (Not a big deal, but annoying for us bored dummy-testers) jobs no longer awkwardly share CDs between different abilities, or at least make the CD sharing make more... sense... and work it into the CD penalties when swapping jobs in the open world.
- "Tackle box" as a fisher ability, which pops up a (carousel-style?) bar-menu of all your bait in level/quality order, starting with a/the bait useful your the nearest body of water.
- .....Lots of craft menu improvements, to be finalized at a later time.....
- ...maybe... someday... sort of a cross-server PF? Or at least some more DF options to get closer to that, but only if that doesn't leave the less desired players utterly unable to get queues.

Let us please separate current duty / FATE UI from the other duties on the duty list... and give us decent quest tracking/sorting.
Please allow us to turn off the big "FATE JOINED, QUEST ACCEPTED, FULL PARTY" pop-ups please. Also notification pop-ups when items on the market have sold/gathering/received loot/"you defeat 1/5 quest target".
I know a Dev. posted that these pop-ups will no longer display during cut-scenes but I would really like an option to turn them off always.

Why we can't do some roulette by party?
Fishing... Patience is a nice skill, I like that Fishing finally has a use for GP... Know what I hate though? When it wears off... See, it doesn't actually wear off, you still get the HQ bonus and inefficient hooking debuff even after they've worn off, the only problem? You can no longer use Precision/Powerful Hookset, effectively meaning you have no real chance of landing the catch...
This annoys me. A lot. Can we change it so that the effects from Patience only wear off after a fish has been caught? If it would wear off while you've cast and waiting on a bite, it stays up so you can potentially use Precision/Powerful Hookset, then it wears off.
Oh, and I'm still waiting on the changes to make it so nudging yourself forward doesn't cancel fishing... There is a skill specifically for putting away your rod (giggity), can we please just have that be the only way to cancel fishing, to avoid accidentally nudging forwards and wasting all your GP because you just used Patience II... Or at the very least can we have a "Do you want to cancel fishing?" pop up? This game has so many of those damned things, in places nobody really wants them, and the one time I'd want that confirmation check it isn't there... Sigh...

Are you certain? I'm pretty sure we kicked an AFKer from Seal Rock last week via Vote Dismiss, and a few weeks prior to that someone said something negative and they were immediately kicked for that. Both of these examples were fine but in the heat of battle I don't think many people check before voting and it's potentially very easy to abuse the feature; I was once kicked for being AFK even when I was at a point healing my group in Secure (I believe I was mistaken for someone with a similar name as I have never worked out what I did to deserve it and the help desk didn't take the report seriously without me being able to say who initiated, which of course I don't know).
Make it so Eos/Selene will auto-heal other party members' pets. I question why that hasn't been implemented already frankly.
