never played XIII so i have no idea who this is - the hair looks somewhat strange with that thing on the side ö_ö
As for the outfit the top is nice, the rest is rather boring - take SCH AF gear et voila u have the skirt and the stockings :D
Though I understand ppl want a plaid skirt w/o the necessity to play SCH :p

But all in all I'm always for more glamour stuff in whatever event

That's actually not correct. It originally was meant to be a part of it because it was actually originally going to be a spin off game called FF Versus XIII on the PS3, but due to many factors the game's development dragged on so long that it was eventually decided to shift development to the PS4, and change it to FFXV - and from there the game's narrative and setting were progressively altered to eventually shear it of it's Fabula Nova Crystallis connections, to the point now it is no longer a part of that series and instead features it's own unique world and mythology.

Anyway, back on topic, the FFXIII event items have been confirmed to be coming to the Mogstation for purchase in the very near future, but not the in-game crossover quest which is now gone forever and won't be coming back. And it was also confirmed that there is no new items - hence no FFXIII-themed gear for ROG/NIN, MCH, DRK and AST I'm sorry to say.

So no Serah-themed gear (other than her FFXIII-2 bowblade) either I'm afraid.

Not sure where your getting your information but XV was initially going to be the second game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series when it was known as XIII VS....half a decade ago.

As much as people would want. I highly doubt they would ever bring it. Let alone the amount of people that would complain because they hate FFXIII and anything related to it.

Serah's hair in the OP's picture kind of looks like the contest winner's hairstyle for females. Not exactly the same, but it does share similarities.

We would need a Serah event for the Serah costumes.
the event name can be "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time"

And we would need a FF XIII-2 PS4 release date for the event

How about some FFVI character costumes? I get the feeling that FFVI is the red headed step child of final fantasies in Japan. It never got any remakes or side games despite being one of the most popular game in the series in the US.

Let's have a Locke Cole and Terra Bradford outfit!

That would be nice. I'm just missing the hair and costume.

They're bringing back the Lightning Strike items because of the fans demanded it.

So we're gonna keep digging this thread up until we get what we want.

If they're going to focus on fanservice, I'd rather see more from other games. We're already getting Lightning and Snow's outfits in the mogstation. Let XIII rest.

Guys, if you don't understand FFXIII story, then you guys must've starring at Serah's cuteness and adoring her during the gameplay..

Seriously FFXIII story is very very good, I mean it.

You guys just need to be more concentrate in the story line, it's so epic.

you can't be that greedy even if it's your favourite FF game, we already have setzers outfit, magitec mount with terras theme, floating continent etc and the next bosses we are getting are some of the last bosses in FF VI.

Id love to see some final fantasy tactics advanced and advanced 2 gear in the game or Chrono trigger stuff since they have a time machine its possible.

Even final fantasy tactics.

Even serah costume possible I mean lightning came who says serah cant what if shes looking for lightning there is your second event, just dont bring back the lightning event its been done too many times.

I would love to see more glamour's come into FFXIV via other Final Fantasy games.

FF7 or FF8 would be awesome, I'd love to see Aeris's or Riona's Outfits and hair.

As for XIII being the best game, I'm sorry I had to chuckle at that. It's a ok game don't get me wrong but it's by no means the best Final Fantasy game. Hands down the best is and will always be Final Fantasy 7, it's been in the Guinness World Records after all for the amount of sales it did.

Yes XIII did have a good storyline but the actual gameplay was horrible. It better watched as one of those youtube movies people create from cut scenes.

See this is my take on it, I agree with you. Story is all well and good but if the gameplay sucks then I will not enjoy the game. That was FFXIII's problem. The game was more linear than any other FF I have ever played.

Even the combat was linear! You only controlled one character and the rest used AI actions you could not directly control. It was horrendous.

Thousands among thousands looked upon their God, the great Yoshida, asking for silly glamour items instead of true content. 'No' whispered the great Yoshi P with a smile cast upon his face.

No it wasn't unless you were going for bad ranks. Actually challenging yourself to push 5 stars was pretty fun but you could just turtle in healing paradigms and get 1 stars if you really wanted.

It wasn't the gameplay that was the problem, it was the fact that the game doesn't really punish you as much as it should for scoring lower ranks and making the battles last longer. I had a lot of fun with the gameplay, more than I did with a lot of classic FF games which lets be honest, mostly involve hitting the attack command over and over again while keeping your party up with heals. I just wish there was a bigger penalty if you made the fights last too long but XIII-2 implemented the wounded mechanic that sort of addresses this.

With how fast the game is I do not want to manually buff the entire party using Sazh in every battle using Synergist. I would rather let the AI do that thank you very much. Paradigm shifts gives me enough party control and I have plenty to worry about with my leader when it comes to some of the harder optional fights.

I think XII did it the right way by allowing person to take control of any party member but also letting ones that didn't want to have AI control them through gambits.

Honestly I don't like that they add costumes and armors from their other games, it feels like it strips away this game's identity

Having influence from those costumes from other games is fine, like the assassins in Assassin's Creed games, the influence is there (white, hood, birds) but it always gives its own version of that, it doesn't just wholesale import it into key roles

I feel like having gear sets and hairstyles from other FF games in this game SO OFTEN as it does really makes me wonder what FFXIV "looks" like
