I totally agree with adding the glamour egis - that portion of my post was directed at people who are still moaning about how the job doesn't feel like a summoner at all.

Fully agreed on the Ramuh egi quest being a troll moment. I got really excited for a second like maybe they had faked us out or something and then groaned. I ended up skipping the rest of the story scenes in summoner after that.

I'd love an Airy/Anne glamor for my fairies ^_^

I liked their comment - I'd rather them take time and do it right than just change the model and have columns of fire shooting out of shiva or something.

Lets see:

• 4+ carbuncles and they all need to have the animations and effects for all of the abilities of any Egi/Fairy they replace. (Likely already done)
• 3 ARR primal Egis (Levi, Ramuh, Shiva) need bodies and animations.
• 2 HW primal Egis (Ravana and Bismark).
• Moogle Mog is also a possiblity.

That's 10+ models that they need to make animation/effect sets for and 6 of them will likely be unique.

I think a lot of the new skills have visual oomph, the enkindles look good too, and the glamour egis sound like the way to get more of that. While the avatars looked good/maybe better than the egis I think from a gameplay perspective they would really get in the way if designed in the same way.

They don't have to release them all at once though.

I rather they just release what they have (the Carbuncles are all but done - except maybe Ruby) when the base system is up and running then release the rest in future patches.

Obsidian(black) is the 4th carby as others have pointed out (it pops up in a story battle in Azys Lla). Considering they added one new carby color that means that they could add others (a purple Amethyst with a Lightning theme would not be surprising) also.

They also need to make healing animations and alternatives so that Scholars don't feel left out.

As was mentioned in the Live Letter they are trying to decide between all at once or in waves. We will likely here more as 3.1 approaches.

I just wish the egis were visually bigger just for the summoner. They just feel so dinky.
