Or can we at least cross glamour Healer and Caster? Im so annoyed that everytime I see a skirt or some shorts (like the shamanic smalls from the new dungeons) It's flippin healer classes only.

Guys want to dress like this for the same reason girls want to dress like this. They're confidant in their bodies, and they want to show off.
This has nothing to do with "dressing like a girl." It's a way of expressing your character the way you want them to be seen.
If you're always seeing half naked dude pelvic thrusting at someone, I have to question where exactly you're directing your eyes.
i will upvote this.
lately casters/healers only get robes and covered from neck to the toes... long time ago we had nicely designed coats like the t2 caster one! or healer coat in t7.
also, why can t i have a simple t-shirt for my highlander hyur T__T
I too , as caster , want to wear stuff like this monk body gear with the tatoos :(
and skirts pls.... we need more variety of skirts =.=
stop with the giant curtains already...
Its out in the open, where usually people hang out, how can you not notice someone's emotes? Then basically going to a mender and seeing this stuff because I sure don't want to it just happens. What do I have to do report it?
Sorry but you trying to make me out to be something I am not in your little comment there.
Also Yeah right about expressing yourself, getting nude and people running around acting not civilized and doing weird and un called for things and don't try to act like that doesn't happen cause it does, just because its on main forums you'll try and say anything that doesn't make it seem bad.
I tell it how it is but of course you won't because if SE knew why it wouldn't float with them.
What I hate is when someone is in the party butt nude not taking his job serious and running around or miss tells his role playing aka cyber comment instead of taking the dungeon serious.
I have honestly never noticed any half naked guy start doing whatever you described, neither in game nor in rl, even when it's blazing hot and there are plenty to be found. I don't see anything wrong with guy characters getting some revealing clothes, we already have quite a bit. Better than the endless amounts of almost naked female Au Ra.
It's personal enjoyment, mostly. I'm happy with the combinations I've come up with and I plan to make them my permanent glamour (unless SE release something else I can take advantage of). What I don't do, however, is 'pelvic thrust' everything or do lewd poses in public (the few images where it's clear that my character is in Idle Shire are actually the many few idle poses for male Roegadyn). At most I'll idle somewhere when I go afk or wait for DF. In dungeons, I play the game seriously. In Alexander, I follow mechanics and, again, take the fight seriously. I'll even explain mechanics for newbies.
I may have my character dressed indecently, but that's just about it.
Agree'd stamped approved forwarded to congressman. I don't play fantasy games to dress like a puritan, i don't appreciate classical armor and find it clunky, heavy and just unnatural on my very cozy and cuddly feline main. If it were up to me it would be possible to walk about nude in my full anatomically accurate miqo glory but people are squeamish and religious in some countries so nope not happening. I say give us more by clothing us less and less and did I mention nude? Damn now I can only think of boobs. Bikini's please and don't tell me it's not possible SE I got that little hidden joke in Alexander floor 3, naked man shaped boss doing pelvic thrusts, turns into 1 hand that slaps, then 2 hands, then a tornado that spews Lubricant, rinse repeat and final phase he just goes crazy doing a bit of everything. Wow that was explicit hope nobody under 13 saw that fight they'd get it right away.
I did read, else I wouldn't have said that. You're asking for new gear that does the same thing as gear we already have.
Variety is nice and all but this game already has a ton of skin showing gear pieces, they should make something different.
Job and level restrictions is also necessary. All jobs shouldn't be able to look the same. Honestly, there should be more in depth job restrictions. Seeing tanks run around in caster robes is pretty silly.
(And copying what someone said as a rebuttal isn't clever, by the way.)
Meh, as long as were fowarding requests, we could do with more shorts. Kecks bugged me the longest time with those straps. :)
Can't agree more with this thread. Some much so that it made me make a formal suggestion thread on the fourms.

Are you trying to get a job at the golden saucer?
People picking on Tera when they have some of the most intricate and beautiful armour out there lol Yes, there are way too many heavy mage robes. Each patch, I am disappointed in the designs. The only thing I am looking forward to is the WHM boobie staff >.> The gear is atrocious. If I wanted to be a nun, I would have gone to work at a ministry.
I'd like to see more "middle of the road" skin-baring gear for mages too! Things between a glorified swimsuit and a neck-to-ankles full coverage robe.
Perhaps this is just a pet peeve of mine, but the puffy collars, stand-up collars, shawl collars, and thingies sticking up around the neck drive me nuts; they look so "buttoned up" and clip with so many hairstyles! I actually like long flowing garments for mages, but would love to see some sleeker and sexier ones. Off shoulder, plunge neckline, lace-up front, bare shoulder, gathered v-neck, high neck with plunge back, slit sleeves, etc . . . design features like these would be great. Granted, there are chest pieces like this, but they are very limited in number and/or restricted to certain classes or jobs.
I can't remember off hand, but I'm pretty sure this stuff I just pieced together from earlier raids. If I remember I will edit my post later with the exact pieces. This was on BLM so everything would work for summoner.

Shows quite a bit of skin and makes her look badass, I'd say.
The hempen chest is used alot for stuff like that, mainly what we need are more V neck/ open top robes.
Lulu's from final fantasy 10 is a good example.

Edea's from final fantasy 8 too.

Doesn't the Warwolf look like that? I wore that for quite a while before switching to this. There were a couple different versions of that robe if you didn't want to PvP but they were fairly expensive.
Not with a V neck no.
If you ever want to see me in game I spend time dancing (sometimes naked) over the token vendors in Idyllshire. I suppose I could be raiding or leveling BRD but this seems like a better use of my time.
On the topic of gear that shows some skin on dudes I've been thinking about putting together all of the gear that shows skin just because it seems like so many people seek it out.
Want a Bikini? We've Got You Un-Covered!
Well, believe it or not, not all players view their character as an extension of themselves. Some actually see it as a character, someone separate from themselves. If you read a book (or write it), would you refer to the main character as "me"? *shrugs*
As for why...? Are you merely questioning the way OP phrased their post, or are you wondering why someone would want to show a bit of skin on a male character? For the first, see above :p For the second... Why not? Male characters can be just as much eyecandy as female characters. =)
It's not the same as the gender locked thread. I'm not even gonna bother typing out how because it's just that obvious.
Did you ever stop and consider that maybe there were *gasp* girls playing some of the male characters? And that perhaps they would like to dress up their eyecandy as something other than a priest? You yourself just acknowledged that people playing girl characters don't always share the same taste (some want skimpier, some want more armored) so how is it that it didn't occur to you that the humans playing male characters would share that same variety in tastes?
I wasn't aware that clothes showing a male's skin that wasn't their head or hands equaled being dressed as a girl. Tshirts, muscle shirts, shorts, sandals = So girly you see next to no guys wearing them.
Yeah, I never see that happening... o_o' I'm sure you see the same things from the half naked female characters? No?
