(Took me less than 5 minutes on MS Paint. That's how human they are. The removed parts, nails and ears, are already available as glamour accessories. All we need is shoes with claws for the full Viera look <_<)

They also have a bunny like nose and lips and their brows reach far to the temple. They are pretty much rabbit versions of the Miqo'te. /shrug

Burmecian would be nice I suppose, it's much closer a middle ground to the "Tough beast race" and "Cute beast race" imho, the only issue is the Qiqurn already look pretty similar, both being rodent beast men.

I too would have liked a non humanoid race but given the fact that SE avoids different combat animation for the races we have right now (like they had in FFXI), them having to work with new rig that features different proportion/physiology and not being able to use the same armor they do on the other races, makes this whole wish really unlikely. Well hope dies last.

Well, you can't say we don't try! Plus, you don't have to get an entirely new skeleton for a new beast like race, plenty of things you could add that don't screw with the humanoid morphology too much, a much thicker coat of scales, natural claws, weird eyes, tails, spikes, et cetera. I mean look how lazy some gear is with the Au Ra and their horns or the dreadful tail "armor" with the casting soldiery gear (Evening star I think?).
