So, the Fractal Continuum (spoilers)

Speculations here but anyone wonder if the Vanu Vanu actually followed Hreasvelgr ( he looks like Bismark in a way, big, white with feather ) and then were separated from them between the war of the gods the mog myth talk about that was actually a war between dragons ( hence why 2 holy dragons are missing, they died in that war ), Vanu Vanu and mog were then separated from the dragons and from each others ( Vanu Vanu knows about mogs while they never see any ), myth then turned the dragons into gods. Mogs having only work again for the dragons after the start of the dragonsong war or the death of Shiva as a pact with Hreasvelgr.


Some millenia after that war of the gods, the allagan reached the sea of cloud and made the Vanu Vanu their slave and created the mirror knights and ixalions from them but the Vanu Vanu were freed thanks to the revolutions and the fall of the empire and kept the key to Azys Lla since then and kept the memory that no one should open the gate to Azys Lla ever again.

This is obviously all speculations.

At this point I wouldn't be too surprised if "Bismark" was as an Allagan ship that transported them into the Sea of Clouds from the surface and it's defining feature being white.

But still, it does make you wonder if the Moogles were really from the moon?

I talked to that Ixali ncp, and to be honest what he says is not clear. Its more like clues you need to figure out by yourself. Can anyone post what he says nd traduce them?

Its actually very clear: The WoL knows that "Ayatlan" is actually Azys Lla, meaning everything they have thought about their history is wrong up to a certain point.

...I wonder if Garuda was a (slightly mad) Allagan scientist now.

I may think different but ok, Like for example, that ixaly says has to work day and night withouth stop ( an incoinsense thing of this past ancestors that were slaves ). Is not am official answer is just a clue you need to figure out by yourself

The Lord of Snakes could easily be a dragon as well then, perhaps one of the Celestial Seven... I mean, we know what feasting on Ratatoskr did to King Thordan and his Knights Twelve... The Allag were at war with dragons for a time, too...

Maybe Garuda was a lead scientist that made the breakthrough synthesis, and the first iksalion saw her as "Mother" the way chicks bond to the first thing they see. Iksalion then had this imprint of Garuda, and maybe the "serpent" she killed and ate to regain strength was actually she and her colleagues trapping Tiamat and experimenting on her DNA. Then a handful of Iksalion escaped and fell off Azys Lla down into Natalan and the Black Shroud.
