yah turned that on during the 4gb+ patch, but it didnt apply until i restarted the launcher, and it asked if i wanted to instal HW, too.

A friend of mine reported to have a 10 GB download half a minute ago, so it seems they put up more?

Windows 7
Go to your Control Panel via the Home Key

A) Open the Advanced Power Plan Settings for your power plan, and expand Sleep.
B) Under Hibernate after, set the Setting (Minutes) to Never.
C) Under Allow hybrid sleep, set Setting to Off.

Windows 8/8.1

Either select Settings from the Side bar and hit control panel or use the Windows Key + X to bring up the menu and select Control Panel
Go to System and Security
Power options
Choose what the Power buttons do
Change the settings that are currently unavailable
Shut Down Settings

Then uncheck the sleep and Hibernate boxes

That should solve your Trying to sleep while Downloading things problems if you're running Windows. IF you have 10 then I've been slacking and haven't putzed around on it yet, but the path to the power options shouldn't be too different than the windows 8/8.1 path.

This should help you with your Computer wants to sleep while downloading issue.

Just flip the settings back on when you're done.

Same here, the launcher is updated to the Heavensward picture (after the few gig download) but it's not downloading anything else, even after restarting both the client and console.

It's not that bad, already 600 MB and that in 15-20 Minutes. The 800+ Minutes isn't right, I can download up to 20GB in a whole Day with around 200-270 Kb/s

I logged in exactly 9 a.m. Updated launcher, then entered my info. It said "this will not add expansion" and asked me to proceed. I proceeded. It's now doing the 4g update (little over half way done). So I assume once I restart after this, it will give me the option to install HW?

Yeah it says that on the bottom right, wouldnt worry about it though probs the version number of when they made the patch or something

PC is 8 gig PS4 is 5.8 Gig so your DX11 settings are 2.2 gigs :D

hard to say just yet but guess we will find out tomorrow if more to download since u did download 1.7gb in advance anyway when u added code to psn

To the guys with the 8 GB downloads on PS4, have you also downloaded the 1.7 GB add-on some days before it?
Maybe some have only 5.7 GB because a part was already downloaded before it as the add-on.

I think it mean that you need 20 GB free space, not that it will be 20 GB big.
It is a game that get patched regulary and there should be always enough space on the HDD for the patches. So the game reserve for itself 20 GB, I think.

yeah but gotta remember the content which comes out 2 weeks and 4 weeks after launch is most likely stuff which would make it come to that amount since that wont be downloaded til there about to be added to game im guessing.

for example frontline maps/rules and alexander raid and alexander savage

I was utterly surprised this morning. Got up at 5:30AM PT and started the launcher, saw the update was ready and started it. 8.36GB for me. I am now at work while it's still downloading at my house. Once I get home and see it finished, I'll bring my laptop to my parent's where they have much faster internet and download it again on that.

I got done with the patch a bit ago. Onikimaru your GIF is perfect for the amount of excite.

Mine just installed the 4.3something one. Then it showed greyed out "Play dx9" button.
I restarted - I don't see how to get the option to dl HW?

So I go in and change the settings where the top and bottom option says "ON"

It just says "no expansion will be installed - 10g required" etc.

It's not installing HW. I've logged/relogged several times


any ideas?

Those of you who have installed HW - did you already register your full game because you have digital? I have early access registered but not the game as I ordered physical copy to ship.

Oh duh, I didn't click the HW box - it appears to be dl now - a little under 4g

I have the expansion downloading now...how do you install the DX11 client though?

I think it's the same dl. If you click Config there should be a button to turn on DX11 support.

Config, there's a switch to turn it on and off at the bottom.

on my launcher after it updated under config there was option to turn on dx11
