Changing my highlander into Au Ra crying because they're like half my current height

I will be going through Aura surgery so I can safely approach Lalafells again such.. tasty... snacks ummmm yeah ^.^

My kitty will be kitty forever.

So I'm actually working on a twink that will get my Au Ra :)

Yep, going to become the tallest male Au Ra and relish in the fact that my personal chocobo should be huge with the way they scale. Now if only I can settle on a clan.

Will try Au Ra out for a bit and see if I like it. Too hard to tell from benchmark still.

I like how my Elezen looks but even ill admit their animations look like crap. Au ra on the other hand can look pretty badass, tall yet muscular, not lanky like the Elezen and the animations ive seen so far are really good. However, I dont like the excessive use of scales (exoskeleton?). Nor am I a fan of the earless horns either. Plus im really interested in DRK and I get the feeling Au Ra DRK will be cliche.

Leaning towards keeping Elezen, at least for the time being. Still have my initial Fantasia potion so...

But after seeing the Au Ra its the first time I wanted to be something else.

For me, I'm switching because the Au Ra (females) seem to have a few good aspects from both miqote and elezen. They have the smaller frames and flirty nature of miqote, while also having the grace of the elezen, but without the incredibly odd proportions and small heads.

I thought I will. I tried the Benchmark and honestly even that I made a beautiful Au Ra, she still wasn't that beautiful to switch over my miqo. But I am really glad that many people will switch, because the only thing that annoys me about my miqo is, that there is so many other miqos in game. :)

I will definitely be switching! I love my cat form, but I have a replica of it on an alt already, so Lin is going to get a major makeover. :D

Finally a race I am going to like as much as a my current highlander. Only drawback might be that the females are a bit tiny but yes to answer the question I will switch. Love the horns and scales and what could be better then a dragon person as dragoon soaring on a dragon mount!

Main criticisms with Au Ra is that they're mostly borrowing from what is already in the game and then slapping on something different to make them 'new.' Female Au Ra have the Hyur face and Miqo'te body, while male Au Ra's... I guess they have an original face, but their bodies are very similar to Elezen.

I want to, but seeing that many of the cats will switch race pushes me back.

Nope, staying roe for sure. Losing half of my height (and the hubba bubbas) all of a sudden would be too much to handle. :D I wonder what yes/no-ratio the poll will end up with. The last one I saw was 50/50.

Yeeeeup! Although, I'm a little bummed I won't be able to change my name. Elrich Fjord doesn't seem like it'll work with the naming conventions. :<

You can spend $10 for a name change on the Mog Station if that helps. :)

Still got my 3 free Fantasias if the Glamour looks better on Au'ra then my Highlander sure i'll change. If not no way.
