When I first started the game with two friends when the boat ride to windurst on selbina ship was super foggy and rainy but that changed later on through updates here is a picture.

Started out on Carbuncle when the PS2 release came out which was around 2002 I wanna say?.. used to be in the top linkshells and loved sky, especially getting my first Kirins Osode. Have a lot of memories being Ranger before they nerfed sidewinder and lots of drama in /shout and hilarious times too as well, I pretty much quit after Abyseea. Had 99 Rng, Blm, Drk, and Pld which became useless after a while unfortunately.

Garuda/Lakshmi: Saeble

Played actively from late 2004 until around 2009 on Asura. Then it was on to Garuda and merged to Lakshmi. Rough dates, didn't keep close track. I kept trying to come back, but the game just isn't for me anymore.

I miss my Red Mage. :(

Where are all the old pre-ToAU Fenrir players? I quit around ToAU release. I was a sexy galka named Ambrose. I miss my old friends Laosrob, Sazaku, Mizuko, and Xiahou. No idea if they play 14 or still play 11. Would love to catch up with them after all these years.

Started on Unicorn in 2003 and quit in January of 2013 (On Fenrir due to the merger). Went back briefly for the Welcome Back Campaign in November, but didn't stick around very long. Was so sad seeing most of the areas being so bare and empty.

I was a big dirty Galka named Creepingdeath, mained BST, NIN and SAM but had several jobs geared at 99.

XIV started me on Jecht with Alpha/Beta ---> Besaid ----> Balmung.

Was sad so see the news that XI won't be developing anything beyond November 2015 (cept for some TLC here and there), but XIV has done a great job of replacing it is my mmo of choice for years to come!

I was on Midgardsormr for about 3 years starting just a bit after release as a Windurstian hume named Kawaru. I was primarily THF/NIN and NIN/WAR.

On the Bahamut server for 8 years starting in 2003.

It was my first ever MMO so I was a really big noob.
tried to play WAR with an underlevel whm sub job for the longest time. took me weeks to get my first job to 30 so that I could start unlocking other jobs and all that.

When I finally got it together and started learning and playing properly I mained a lolDRG, SMN and PLD for most of my time in the game.

BLM, MNK, BST, NIN, RUN were all jobs that got added to this over time, but those first 3 were the ones I played the most and the longest, especially DRG.

From release to 2008 was on Titan.
Stopped playing for awhile, came back after Titan merged with Phoenix in 2011 and kept playing until 2014.
Was Cylla on Titan and Asylina on Phoenix.

After hearing the news about XI, it truly is sad to see it fading away. I miss XI everyday. XIV just doesn't give that feeling that XI did, but I hope one day it will :)

Fairy server here, a Mithra under the name Uielyave! I miss XI, but I can't justify going back right now. :( I'd like to just keep my nostalgia of sitting in Valkurm Dunes waiting for hours for a party invite.

Played for about 3 and a half years (2006-2009 I believe) and quit shortly after the level cap increase from 75-80, due to my PS2 HDD failing. I definitely miss the good times that were had and all of the great people I met and friends I made along the way.

Since there's going to be a bit of a lull in content til 3.0, I decided to check out FFXI myself.

I am lost as hell. I haven't used this much wikimagic since i found out it existed. It's nice to be walking down nostalgia road. I want to try to surpass my original FFXI character...which shouldn't be hard since i quit at lvl 36 >_>

10 pages and only one former Unicorn player... Never really got much done done as my main (I was a DRK), same name as now though then i was an elezen. What I miss most was my LS Soldiers Sanctuary, really good group of close friends, many of witch I lost track of after WoTG. Left before server mergers started up.
