SEE Agent Chris: Unfortunately, this area is under heavy congestion at this time and it may not be possible to access it due to it reaching maximum occupancy. We can only suggest trying again later
You: Im sorry but thats a little vague?
You: My whole group had this problem when we commenced the duty finder

You: and we were all scattered about the game world
You: not all of us were in golden saucer
You: so therefore there must be another issue no?

SEE Agent Chris: I can only address your particular issue, and if that is the area you were in this is likely to be the issue. You may also wish to try deleting the game settings folder found in My Documents and log in again, however if the Gold Saucer area was where you were located this is unlikely to resolve your issue and I would suggest trying to log in later
SEE Agent Chris: You should also check the Lodestone for updates regarding the issue

You: Whats the situation regarding my paying for a service that's unavailable? Am i entitled to a refund of sorts?
SEE Agent Chris: We can only advise you try logging in again later and the issue should be resolved for you. A refund would not be possible at this stage. As there has been a patch, issues may arise which need to be resolved, and we hope the matter will not continue for long
SEE Agent Chris: Once you have access to the game again, you can contact us again with details of the amount of time you were unable to access it etc and we can investigate further, however a refund would be unlikely
You: From my POV being advised 'to log in later' is unsatisfactory. Can't my character be relocated if, as you say problem is due to being in golden saucer area? Like what am i waiting for here? Interest by the player base in the golden saucer to dwindle? I mean that could take weeks no?

SEE Agent Chris: You can try closing the client by holding in the "Alt" button then pressing F4
SEE Agent Chris: If this does not work, you can open task manager pressing CTRL ALT and Delete on your keyboard then choose task manager

You: ALT F4 doesnt do anything and CTRL ALT Delete locks my screen?
SEE Agent Chris: When you press CTRL ALT delete you should have different options. If you press enter it will lock your screen, if not, you should see a list and task manager will be on that list

SEE Agent Chris: All you need to do is highlight the game and then click on end task
SEE Agent Chris: If you are still having an issue, simply restart your computer to close any running programs
SEE Agent Chris: This will close the game client for you
You: i see things like chrome and btstack
You: i cant see any start menu to shut my pc down
SEE Agent Chris: If you press CTRL ALT delete again you should then see the option on the bottom right hand side to restart your machine
SEE Agent Chris: If you can not follow the instructions provided, I can only suggest you power off your computer completely which will close all running programs

I get it, things break with updates... but say something SE. That's what people hate so much.
Is this only affecting some servers or some players? Cause the majority of players isn't getting this problem and can still do duties...
Aside from someone from customer support thinking this is just gold saucer related. Nothing has been updated. Don't even see the lodestone addressing our issue.

Stuck, Famfrit. Was not in Gold Saucer, queued up for Wanderer's Palace and am perma-loading.
Ragnarok Server / Chaos Data Center. Same problem here. Was not in Golden Saucer.
I was nowhere near gold saucer myself. Word from SE side would be nice...
Only thing I can suggest is making separate topics detailing as much information as you can about what has occurred. Stockpiling one topic with a bunch of stuck posts hasn't gotten their attention.
How was it that you went about contacting someone from SE? I checked for live chat and it said that it's not available at this time.
How do I even talk directly to someone at customer service like that guy did a few pages ago? I'm not in gold saucer so they can't give me that garbage.

Stuck in loading screen: Phoenix Server, Went into trials roulette got stuck in loading screen. Sent email support ticket heard nothing else.
the matter is really dongeon servers i think, cause mor dhona for part of my team, housing for some other... all same problem. No one where in gold saucer.
same here on Hyperion. I was in the golden saucer and accepted an expert roulette. It lost connection to server and no stuck loading
I don't want to talk to customer service, I want to speak to people who are supposed to fix. I require firsthand knowledge.
Yeah, stuck loading Wanderer's Palace for me, coming in from Golden Saucer after a few Chocobo Races >_>;

When I go to customer service the only option it gives me is well email support. I just want to know how long this will last.

Signed up for World of Darkness from Mist, Ward 1 and got stuck in load screen too. Closed down client and relogged, still in load screen.

Tried to contact the customer support, but at that moment they already took out chat-support, even though it's in time. I think they're all a bit pissed as well.
No response from SE yet? :( I wish we could at least see an Emergency Manteinance scheduled by now, at least we'd know when it can get fixed and get back to playing.
It's an anticipated patch, there's congestions, stuff breaks and it's to be expected, but please aknowledge the problem at least.

Same problem on moogle! stack in "now loading" screen after black screen as i entered in garuda hm.
They kinda don't get that it has not entirely to do with Golden Saucer. God damnit Developers, just restart the freaking Instance servers and we all going to be free.

So hopefully soon there will be a post about it on the lodestone the reality is there probably isn't. In my initial description of the problem I told them not to tell me it was GS related because I wasn't dumb XD

Booked two days off of work for these patches. Fuck it, I'm going to go and play something else. Hopefully it's fixed by the time I'm supposed to raid tonight.
I really and highly doubt that it is a Golden Saucer problem, when people who queue for duties get stuck in an infinite load screen loop, and when you force quit you end up in a forever loading screen when you choose the character you want to log into, I am highly irritated, they brought the servers up an hour early in which case I assume they thought it was all peachy to do so. Apparently it was not peachy.
T.T i havent even been to the gold saucer yet and im stuck, shame on me on trying to get the relic upgrade quick for a change

My character is still in login limbo, as well. Keeper of the Lake must be a nice place to be stuck in, heh.
