So Cidney is still a possibility.

No mention of FCoB Savage :(
"Lighting not final"
Oh thank God.
I mean, it's not bad, but it's a bit smudgy and dim overall.
True, he should be more like Inspector Jacques Clouseau than looney tunes ^_^

Classic!
I feel like making a new character just to see if the references to Lady Yugiri made throughout the questlines is default to everyone, or actually extra dialogue aimed at those who had completed the MS involving her.
Also, I hope its that lady who has been running the Ironworks in Cids absence. She amuses me.
I would agree, but Snowcloak and Sastasha already deserve to be in the High Level Roulette. Snowcloak is Brayflox HM (and Fenrir will never cease to disappoint me. Easier than Anantaboga. Ridiculous) and Sastasha... well, it's not a very interesting dungeon (and super sponge Kraken needed to have more attacks to be an interesting fight. Sadly it's just boring and takes forever to kill). Qarn is okay, but could have been better.
Basically, current Expert dungeons are already ready for High Level roulette, in my opinion :/
I think it would be also the last time for a while
With 3.0 the lv50 dungeons would get moved into the low level roulette or would get a own roulette. The first lv 60 dungeons would be in high level roulette and the first new expert dungeons would show up with 3.1
I would be happy with that. Anyroad regardless of who it is I am convinced that she/he will be connected to Garlond Ironworks.
Well, probably not something THAT final. Or, who knows, with a new city state and 3 new classes, maybe we will get reverted to level one again (right when I finally reach 50 with the ninja). And we lack a Nael van Darnus like central antagonist. Still, I can totally see Midgarsomr returning to life as a mirror to Bahamut comming out of Dalamud.
Regarding the conclusion of the current Hildebrand storyline, remember that the current storyline is the one with the man of a thousand masks or whatever. Hildebrand can totally go on to another case for 3.0 when this one is finally concluded!
I think Id be more excited if I was actually though base content, but hey, ill keep on chugging, school doesn't start till the 12, only have to work weekends I got time, a bit.
So any idea what the mystery trial is?
I'd guess it's another Hildebrand trial, maybe the final battle with Gilgamesh where he uses all of his arms?
Im surprised 2.5 is coming out Jan 20th. Thought for sure it would be something like first week of february.
Chocobo Breeding with Golden Saucer confirmed ^^Quote:
There will be much to do in patch 2.5, and before we bombard you with more in part 2, we’ll be offering players a change of pace with patch 2.51, which focuses on the introduction of the Gold Saucer. It bears mentioning, however, that the establishment is known as the Manderville Gold Saucer in Eorzea. You’ll have to check it out for yourself to figure out where this moniker came from. Including chocobo racing, chocobo breeding, and the return of the FF card game Triple Triad, you can look forward to a fun and relaxing time in the Gold Saucer.
Maybe connected with Racing like in VII, where you start with an average Chocobo and have to breed faster Chocobos with it.
For the VIIth legion it was more because they ignored every order from Garlemald after Nael death to fulfill Nael last order.
will update main thread :)
So Odin, Gilgamesh AND another trial? Damn. Are we sure we don't have to pay for 2.5?
As for the trial itself, might be an Ascian like Lahabrea again or Elidibus
Who is Neus?
Anyroad I think it is pretty amazing that even now so close to 3.0 we are dealing with the consequences of what Nael did in 1.0. Ripping of Sephiroth aside, he sure knew how to be a villain.
I'm basically new, havent been through an update before, so tell, me, if I don't do everything there is to do before this releases am I just stuck with tough noodles, cant do it anymore, you missed out, bad timing, heres the new stuff? becauses that kind of system is liking playing minesweeper with the part of my brain that's responsible for OCD and completionism. drives meh crazy.
Expansion? Oh you mean completely rewriting every aspect of the game? Yeah, but that was back then. Now is now. Yoshie-P would likely call WoD a bugfix.
Speaking of Yoshie, the last letter from him mentioned that the finale of 2.0 will come in 3 parts. But 2.5 has two parts. What is the last?
The story has 2 parts the patch has 3, first we will get the first part, between february and and march gold saucer, and in late march the second part of the story, at least that's how it sounded to me when reading the letter, Yoshi said 2 parts in the last LL, but may be they decided to divide it in 3 parts to release the big finale right before the expansion.
