Crying so much whenever I run past somebody who has already completed their relic.

BTW,

Is it possible to get more than 1 of the Key Item if you have that part of the quest still active? (just curious.)

Please confirm if this is a myth or not

Sources say that the drop is 100% for 1 person in that party. So for example, if 4 people in that dungeon all need that key item, it will drop for 1 person out of the 4 that needs it.

So far, a fc/ls member ran AV and DD, he was the only one that needed the item, he got it 100%
I ran 3 AV's this morning, the last one I did, I was the only one that need the item, and I got it.

I did Quan (hard) I thought I was the only that needed it, I did not get it, but I never asked the group.

Please post the findings you see and happy grinding!

This would make some sense in explaining why some people started off strong getting their items and then started to have less luck as they were paired with more and more party members seeking the same item.

Calling shenanigans. I had 2 party members from my FC who had not begun this quest and the 3rd random person wasn't in the run for the drop. I still gotten no drop.

Atma should have taught people this: you cannot manipulate RNG if the developers didn't allow for it.

I was incredibly lucky (ok... relatively lucky) with my atma drop rates pre-nerf. Now it appears I must pay the proverbial piper with this relic quest.

so it took me 28 AK runs to get my treasure.


got to love rng.

I was getting the first ones quickly, 1/1 AV, 1/1 WP, and others in 5 runs or so, now they just won't drop D: farmed from 5pm to 6am (from Europe) yesterday and only got 1 item. I'm assuming I'm just incredibly unlucky 'cuz others are getting theirs faster.

I'm telling you... the common thread seems to be "Yay! 1/1 WP 1/2 AV 1/1 ?......0/23.... 1/15... 1/19 arjklasjfl;ksajsl;s!!!!"

It's almost as if SE is throwing everyone a bone early. First hit is always free and all that jazz....

I pretty much looked at the quest requirements and said "screw this, I'm not even going to finish my Animus. I'll wait till CT 2.5 drops the stuff needed to get/upgrade the poetic weapons and go with that."

Makes me a sad panda, really. We already have to grind so much dungeons and such that offer us little to no reward while grinding them then they add more of it. Nope, not going to even bother.

Kind of hard say the drop rate although don't seems that punishing to many.
I do say I been quite lucky, on a 3 hour playtime,
Day 1 I get 0. Day 2 got 4, day 3 got 7. So now total 11. Today go home farm remaining 5 dungeon.
As for crafted item they were abt 100 k for hq finished ones here so got all 8 easy :x
Friends that do with me some have 3 after 3 days, sone 7 to 12.

Sastasha took my friend 1 shot, while me took 11 tries. So is very random, pray your luck :p

I have all 4 quests and they do ask me to get the items from said dungeons. I've gone on my nexus obtained class and a few others. Starts to wear on one's sanity at some point :x

None of the crafted items yet, however I have all the materials to have them made (mostly HQ) and actually just spoke with a crafter a bit ago to get that going. I really do dislike the reappearance of the RNG on this step, however I won't bellyache too much. All I can say is that at times it's impossible to not fall victim to apophenia and attempt to find patterns that just simply are not there.

These are the ones i can remember right now. drop rates seem to be all over the place for me, although so far havent had the horrendous 16+ runs to get the drop, but plenty of dungeons to still get, so who knows :)

I tested with a 4 people party. 2 of us having zodiac quest, and 2 who don't even own a Nexus weapon, therefore they don't have the quests. No one got dungeon item. So it's not 100%, you guys just got extremely lucky. If it was 100%, it would be so easy to complete with premades of 3 without quests, and one with.

As of yesterday at 7:30 AM I have run 37 dungeons (Queuing Sastasha (Hard), Qarn (Hard), Snowcloak and Halatali) and received 0 Key Items...at 10% drop rate I feel like i have the worst luck.
