So which bathingsuits do you have to have to get the wallpaper? All? Gold, Green, Red, Blue, and Black?

Hi i gotten all the swimsuit but.... is still lock.. ;_;

So how does one get the Gold and Black suit?

there is no black
red, blue, green, silver, gold

gold = 3 of each color and 3 black ash

to get the gold, get 3 ash of each of the 4 colors, trade for the ayzema(sp?) firework, and use it

So you need 4 of each color to get all bathing suits? Furthermore, what is the point of posing in front of the bomb? Everyone's doing it and you do receive a special animation, but what's the point?

3 of each color for normal suits..... so 3 red, 3 blue, 3 green
then 3 more of each color and 3 black for the gold....

so 6 blue, green, red, 3 black for every thing

I'm not sure if it's a bug, or intended, but the npc (not bomb) is far away from the ending furnace. Just a heads up if you're trying in Hyrstmill.... i'd pick the other one in Griddy for sure. Otherwise you've got to finish and haul ass back to the npc.

The event lasts until the 29th. They have 18 days to get rank 20 or find someone to protect them from the wolves or more likely just go sit at the furnace and collect ash without doing anything like half of the people already are doing.

I second this, the male swimsuits look terrible. I wanted actual swim trunks. I stopped doing the quest after chasing a bomb doing emotes.

Can I ask a question about summer event? I just started went to UL'DAH AND GOT my swim suit :). then went to the drybone camp.

So everyone is after this gold swim suit? how do you obtain it?

I was told to get six ash but then what?

six ash and return to ul'dah? or do I need to get six ash from each camp to get yellow or gold or what ever it is?

someone did mention at the end but I did not now if they meant all the camps or what so can someone explain?

First of all...

Limsa Red Swimsuit - 3 Red Bomb Ash (Obtain @ the two Hamlet eg. Ale port)
Gridania Green Swimsuit - 3 Green Bomb Ash
Ul'Dah Blue Swimsuit - 3 Blue Bomb Ash
Coerthas Solar(Gold) Swimsuit - 3 Red Bomb Ash, 3 Green Bomb Ash, 3 Blue Bomb Ash & 3 Black Bomb Ash.

So what they're saying of you getting 6 is because if you want to collect the Coerthas Solar Swimsuit, you need atleast that much to get it :D

My lodestone hasn't updated the swimsuits either o_O character yes, but not swimsuits (It's been about 5h since I got them).

I'm having a stupid amount of fun with the event :) This is the sort of lighthearted, team work driven fun that a lot of games are missing. Love SEs live events!

And the music is super fun too, though I wish each citystate had their own version like the events in XI did.

I love my swimsuits. they hog my inventory though lol D:

While we're at it - me and my fellow members at Quarrymill. It's good to be linkshell leader these days lol.

Get three of every type: blue, red, green and black. Blue in Thanalan, Red in La Noscea, Green in The Black Shroud and Black in Coerthas. Then trade them for Azeyma's firework thing (yellow) and fire it at the cauldrons. Then you get the golden one. ;)

Yikes... I'm glad I got my black ash at Owl's Nest while it was pretty active this morning (huge huge crowds!). I logged back in there just an hour ago and it was completely dead (maybe normal for Fabul?). Can't wait for lodestone to update, I wanna try the wallpaper =)

I've never been to Coerthas before, is it terribly hard (dangerous) to get to if the best you are is a 23rd level Conjurer?

Would it be better to get a port to close to where the event is being held and secure an escort?

It's not hard at all! If you're really worried, just stay on the road until you get to Camp Glory and set your home point. That way, no matter what happens, you'll be able to get there without much trouble.

I went as rank 15-16 on my main and alts =) I stayed on the path and made sure to steer clear of the wolves. When you head into owl's nest, there is a chance that footpads can spawn in the tunnel, but I was lucky that the area was pretty active at the time and higher level folks were clearing mobs for us lowbies! I think you may be okay at 23, as the mobs were all 26-29 for me.

As for getting there, it's completely safe from Gridania into Coerthas, west of Emerald Moss. Again, just follow the road in Coerthas but feel free to get off the path if it means steering clear of the wolves. If you can get some folks to accompany you, it should be fine =) Good luck!

I got all but the gold swimsuit about 7 hours ago but it hasn't updated on my lodestone >.> I got the "Heat is on" quest finish and the first swimsuit up there but the others haven't popped up yet. How long is it supposed to take?
