I can agree with both sides, as I'm just coming into crafting high level myself, the cost of getting the materia melded in and everything is astronomical, but I still think it's kind of insane to charge 10,000,000 gil for vanity stuff. Charging enough to make profit after melds is one thing, but you don't need to make near full materia costs back on EVERY sale, y'know? Middle ground. The crafter mindset about it is what push people to prefer "other" options to get their vanity game, such as a shop which shall not be named.

There's no Mapping the Realm achievements for T4 and T9, so it's probably just one arena in T12/13 where there's no place to really "explore" for an achievement.

Flash was fine actually, Circle of Scorn was very welcomed though!

Crafting Materias are going to drop like a rock if all the gear makes them useless!

i'm guessing the rabbit thing is for if you fail your ninjutsu. we saw nin get a *dummy hat* during the nin skill video.

Is anyone else relieved about the Final Coils gear? When I first saw it in the trailers, and although it was dark, I got worried and didn't like the designs at all. Now that we've seen them in a much better light, I actually really like the purple and white. It looks pretty nice.

Also, not sure if I'm blind, and I know this is a preliminary, but can anyone see any mention of the new commendation rewards?

Both require Hide to be used so it could be possible that they're dynamically opposed position-ally by design.

Especially given the high potency involved, it provides an element of risk to the attack. Super-high damage, but risk to get hit by a cleave.

They may be holding the next stage of the relic quest for 2.45. I'm betting the next stage set introduced will be have it end at ilevel 125 for 2.5 with the 2.5 stage set ending at ilevel 135.

I bet they are withholding the info for the full notes we'll receive later. 2.2 when they released coil 2 they had a update to the relic quest. I believe you could only get it up by 10 ilvls but it was still at least mid-range between what it was before the update, and what you could get from turn 9. So I'd guess there will be some sort of quest to take it to ilvl 120.

The one thing I really didn't like about Ninja is you can only use 3 of your abilities once per boss. First off you can only hide while out of combat. Sneak attack and Trick can only be used while under the effect of hide. Basically you open up with one of them then you can't use SA and TA for the rest of the fight because you can't hide while you are in combat.

You can always just drop dead, get rezzed, the pop a hide, since technically you're still out of battle for a short couple of seconds until you're either touched, or you touch the boss.

Please let there be another way to get the Encrypted Tomestone than just a single drop from T1X each week, waiting 4 weeks to have a chance to roll on it after all the dps had gotten theirs was really annoying.

You can bet it will be the same as 2.2

Another thing that I haven't seen mentioned, these patch notes do not appear to include traits. It wouldn't even be unprecedented for there to be a trait to remove that restriction. "Raise cannot be used in battle" I'm looking at you.

Problem with that is that you end up with the Ironworks weapons being dead (useless) on arrival. Holding off and having an upgrade to 125 in 2.45 and 135 in 2.55/2.58 allows the i120 and i130 weapons to maintain a place on the upgrade path come 2.5.

iirc, they were saying on the stream during fanfest that they are fixing it so you stay in combat when rezzed
