i was wondering if there going to be a new job class that's not in any other game in the final fantasy game series added in the future, and maybe months away from now. it would be interesting to see how it turns out. So far all the current job classes that i played or seen were good and fun to play i also like how much depth you put in to it. and the new ninja and rouge job classes looks awesome so far.

Are there any plans to implement horizontal development to new gear pieces?

I think creating new materia that enhances abilities or traits other than stats would be a nice way to add diversity to gear sets. By making the materia meldable to any gear this should do away with the "need x gear" requirement. Also, making the added abilities non-essential to class roles would help not make them "necessary". Such as + % healed (like convalescence) to DPS roles or something of the like.

When are you going to start banning open world bots? While I'm all for the positive upcoming game inclusions, I'd like to see you keeping the negative aspects such as 3rd party tool use in check - which you are currently not doing.

Character Customization

Will you ever make hairstyles unisex?

Can we have more gated difficult fights similar to Titan Extreme? Leviathan and Ramuh Extreme are just too easy in comparison to what Titan offered.

In patch 2.4 are you finally adding new Egis?

Classes

Would it be possible to make the class specific stats of Land and Hand classes actually mean something beyond unlocking higher difficulty nodes and synths? Like increasing HQ chance on gathering nodes and increasing success rates of melding.

Can we have hotbars linked to gearsets? I want to equip a gearset for PVP and have all my pvp abilities on my hotbar without having to move everthing around evertime i want to play frontline.

In patch 2.4 are you increasing base Level cap?

With Revenant's Toll obviously becoming XIV's Jeuno, will we ever walk inside Ishgard?

Are there any plans to expand upon the Linkshell System, such as different ranks, login message, etc?

About Summoner Class

If you give a look around into the forums a lot of People are disappointed about the summoner Class not because is weak but because its not fit to its game description. Do you think its time to get it reworked?

Please tell me your action in patch 2.4 about the current bots around the world.

Will you open a Kingdom Hearts event just like you done with FFXII, FFXI and DQ? Since all of these events were used the time travel theme, Kingdom Hearts can possibly be use in FFXIV.

Will you have any plans that can be work for solo players, which won't require the players to be a part of any FC or LS or party, etc.? Like the airship system in the future, dungeons, etc.

I recall it being mentioned that the new vanity items and vanity item materials found via desynthing fish would be made easier to get to allow more people access to them.

Could you share with us what new methods you have planned to better allow players access to these items?

Can you change the game logo in the Start screen (when you log in, select Start and the Character screen open) from FFXIV ARR to patch 2.4 logo when patch 2.4 release? And continue this in the future patchs.

Are you able to reveal more information about the Rogue/Ninja?

Many players are still curious about what cross-class abilities will be available to them, which abilities other classes can take from the Rogue (if any), and a definite answer as to what kind of gear the Rogue/Ninja will have access to.

Could you make the Onion Helm available again?
It was only released with the 1.0 Collectors edition and can't be obtained anymore, but i need it to complete my dragoon glamour!!!

Will there ever be a way to swap out or trade in Allied Seal gear for allied seals in the event someone wishes to change Grand Company?

Would it be possible to add optional challenges or bosses to dungeons? For example, in Final Fantasy XII, players had to pass through a place called the Sochen Cave Palace in order to advance the story. However, there was a secret path that could be unlocked which led players to face the optional superboss Hell Wyrm. Would it be possible to add such optional encounters to some future dungeons in Final Fantasy XIV? These could pose a bigger challenge even for higher geared players, while offering vanity rewards such as, for example, a minion. This would ensure that players wanting to speedrun the dungeon, or who solely want the Allagan tomestome reward, can safely skip the encounter, while players who like a bigger challenge could tackle the optional encounter to test their skills, with a chance for a nice vanity reward. Players who were not geared highly enough for the optional boss would then also have another reason to come back and do the dungeon again once they have gathered better gear.

in the past patches the focus has been alot on the battle side of the game and as well some added content on the crafting side, but i would like to know if theres any plans to the gathering classes. as of right now the hq drop rate is capped at 15% and with 2 skills to increase that depending on certain nodes to 45% to 50%, my question is will there be any change coming to gathering to make it more dynamic and will there be any change to drop rate, cuz of right now this is from personal experience it takes close to 300 reg drops just to get 50 to 60 hq. i know the rmt use gathering as their source of gil production and making it so hq can drop more frequently wouldn't beneficial, and i understand that, but can't anything be done with the actual mining a bit more dynamic to increase the odds of hq items. thank you for reading this, and great job on the game i love it all even tho i take close to 3 hrs getting my mats to lvl up my crafting classes :p

Theres a few things I'd like to know myself...

- With the hair/makeup option, I'd prefer the colours with dark/lightness filters so it can be a more unique shade, rather than the preset colour shades I've seen, any plans to do this?
- I've learned that its wintry later in the game, I'd like it implemented in the La Noscea and Black Shroud areas especially. I'm pretty sure any race is fully adapted to the cold and wintry weather.
- Even though this is just a thought, I was hoping a duelling option could be available, as well as the option of pitting groups against each other.

Currently in 2.38 MNK and DRG dps output is balanced, but

MNK has stronger raid utilities i.e mantra, where DRG has none
MNK has stronger hp recovery abilities i.e. second wind, where DRG has life surge
MNK has stronger DPS uptime i.e. shoulder tackle (very quick cooldown) DRG - positional jumps-2: 3min 1: 5min cool down.

DRG has stronger mechanic evasion i.e. elusive jump where MNK has nothing.

I believe MNK with its stronger eHP utility necessary due to their lack of mechanic evasion abilities.

I would like to see DRG elusive jump recast lowered from 3 min to balance DRG lack of eHP utility. Do you have any plans to address elusive jump and its lengthy cool down?

If not, will you please look into a solution?
Where melee DPS are required, MNK is the better option, and I would like DRG to be an equally desirable option

I believe this proposed fix would solve DRG lack of eHP utility and alleviate concern for DRG low magic def. with greater evasion using elusive jump more freely.

Will you ever "repair" Need/Greed system? I find it annoying that someone can Need when they have higher lvl item that is offered & greed when they don't even have that items job on 50.

Will you add seasons to Eorzea, like winter at all places, snow etc.

Can we have time that actually follows server time, it would make longer nights for example.

If "Light party" people are all lvl 50, can you make low level dungeons scale up & allow usage of all skills/ or at least make low level dungeons allow usage of all skills, scaled down version of em. Its annoying when you are trying to use your rotations & can't.

Also if people who came to instance as Tanks or Healers leave, can we have ability to take their place temporarily? Me for example have both tank & healer jobs unlocked so i could fill that role, so we can advance in dungeon, instead of just standing around or people leaving instance because "nobody will come".

Is there a reason on why you cannot select Rogue as a starting class in 2.4? I'm sure many new players would love to start off as Rogue the moment they enter the game.

Do you have any plans for the addition of a Beastmaster style class? If so what weapon would you like for them to use and what challenges would they pose to the current party design?

Summer Rework please?

If Pet Control is your concern, just do away with persistent pets & make Summon I/II/III summon either short-term or single-use powerful monsters (Diabolos or Siren)... more in line with classic FF Summoners.

In the new update controller users now must press L1+R1 to flag on world map. This is highly inconvenient because of the following.
1) Pressing L1+R1 dismounts you
2) Hard to press L1+R1 while moving even on auto run
3) Its not easily accessible especially trying to send the <flag> in chat

Musketeer has been teased for over 3 years (1.x era).

Please implement with expansion launch (no later) or give it to us in 2.5.

At this point, it's really disrespectful to Legacy Players who've been waiting patiently for so long.

Any update on Elezen height to look like Alphinaud ? Also Elezen emotes seem more butler and retainerish when they are suppose to be adventurers.

No offense, but I feel like you don't understand what we want anymore for the most part (e.g. Atma/Player Housing).

The Forum doesn't cut it.

Can we please have a PvP Server?

Can we please have some 8-man Dungeons?

Are there any plans at all for more customization for Chocobo barding (dye, etc)? Certain colored Chocobos don't look that great with most bardings, so it'd be nice to have a bit more control over stuff like colors.

With the introduction of a new class and job is there going to be any new content to run to help level them other than the same leves, hests or dungeons that are all a year old
