New Emotes we would like to see XD

I would love a highfive emote like in Team Fortress where you throw it up and it only completes if you some activate it on you. The cold shoulder when no one interacts with it always makes me laugh. I would also like a ballroom dance emote that works the same way but that would be a bit harder with the size difference with characters.

For odd emote I think a Soul Eater like Excalibur face would be awesome.

Not sure if this was already mentioned. A group emote would be awesome, like a group cheer after taking down a boss or something.

Instead of being like other emotes, it could be like initiating a ready-check, and once everyone has agreed to it, every character in the party would let out a cheer or something all at the same time. It'd be great for screenshots and such.

I would like some more continuous emotes such as the dances we have been receiving lately but with music instruments, from an RP perspective and especially if and when we do get around to doing in game weddings and stuff, I think it would be cool to have /flute and /viola,violin /harp types of emotes where our characters are playing the instruments, it works well for parties as well (besides its not like bards get to actually play music for more than 5 secs without spamming the abilities over and over)

I'd like a / command to pick up a lalafell and hug them/hold them up by the waist

Most of all I would love to see persistent workout emotes! Like the NPCs who you see around doing pushups or crunches

I'd like a way to synchronize dances automatically. Particularly since with the current system, one person might see you as sync'd up, but others may see you out of sync.

I would love a finger snap emote. And, while not necessarily an emote, I would love love LOVE to have the ability to be able to draw my weapon while on a chocobo, and ride with weapon drawn. Just a purely cosmetic thing, but yeah.

When they get the player interactive emotes like hug down I kinda would like the idea of an interactive dance or two. Two characters could both type /waltz or something and instead of doing an individual waltz if they were standing in front of each other they could waltz with each other, similar to how the moogles minions will dance with each other if close enough. I'm sure stuff like that would still be a ways away though. ^^; This could be expanded so that if multiple people nearby type /waltz they all waltz around with a given partner in a circle, which I also kinda references to the moogles when their are a large amount of moogles summoned. xD I guess it could add a more intimate or romantic vibe to dances, maybe something to accompany the "marriage" thingy that's going to be introduced, so you can dance with your partner? :)

It would be great to have some /rockout or /breakdance emotes. I would love to see my character break-it-down after a Boss win.

The Miqo'te in Mor Dhona looking for her Carbuncle will do this on occasion, and with decorative food items coming for housing? Yeah, that'd be nice.

I would love a /sigh or /facepalm emote... we all know why :p

As well I think it would be cool to have more relaxing emotes, like new poses for sitting on the ground, a emote for falling asleep that u can change from when u /sit on the ground.

Not to mention a sit pose for female Hyur's that doesn't make us look so angry (although sitting with my arms folded doesn't look cool... but I look silly in my WHM set sitting angrily), or look like we have to use the bathroom.

A also agree with the whole /hug, or /pick up lalafel and hug them. Or even more interactive emotes, like the sync dancing one, I cant sync up with my friends since they use PC, it looks fine on my screen but on theirs we aren't in tune.

Not me. Someone was insisting there was a /suicide emote in FFXI. I played the game for 4-5 years. I would have known about it.

Also, there was no feign death THF skill. There was Hide which could lose you aggro (sometimes), or Mijjin Gakure; a NIN skill that blew yourself up to damage the enemy, but you lost no exp.

There was also Self-Destruct Blue Mage magic, but that reduced you to 1hp and you would lose exp if you subsequently died.
