PSN is down

I got logged in, but in middle of a duty I got logged out of PSN, but game still running, so no logging out for me I think

Well now I'm alternating between Cannot connect to the server and Cannot connect the server in time limit. Maybe that's an improvement?

Back to trying to download the pc client.

sigh, so basically since we are supposed to have scheduled maintenance tomorrow it may be 2 days or more without getting on.
I don't have any message at all, just does not connect to PSN.
Seriously those little pricks need to have something coming to them

I'm still on no DC from psn or the and no lag sorry to all that still can't get on:(

I just got kicked from PSN. Now it keeps telling me to sign-in to PSN & when I do I get the "Cannot connect to server" error message T-T.

well cannot get onto the store, cannot see my friends on PSn that are on even though the app on my iPhone say they are on playing.
Oh well back to some watchdogs or Child of Light for me

I got logged back in - but the only network typed activity I can get connected to is Netflix - everything else times out. Well, I guess I'm having a Scrubs marathon today instead of fishing....

This is just great -__-. I was planning on waking up early today and relaxing on my last day of summer before I start my last semester of college by playing this game and I've been set back by some no-life kiddies that think they're making a difference. Way to go. I hope PSN comes back up soon ):

According to that DDoS website, it seems San Rafael is a big target, further research yielded me that there's a Sony HQ over there. So it's still under attack.

I was able to login just now. (PS3, United Arab Emirates).

edit: nvm, FF14 can't connect to PSN now to retrieve my login.

This blows. Down today AND that huge maintenance tomorrow...

It finally connected to the server and then gave me the message "PSN is currently undergoing maintance" and pushed me right back out.

I can see my friend list on my PS3 and I'm signed in,but cannot access the PSN store. I cannot sign in at all on my PS4. When I start the FFXIV client on my PS4, it says cannot connect to PSN.

They are getting Ddos'd by a group called LizardSquad who has also been ddosing battle.net and LoL as a of late.

Funny how so many people jump to conclusions and call these people hackers and stuff when there is absolutely 0 hacking or anything happening.

Also these people are trolls looking for attention....on their twitter they do # for like jihad and trash like that.

Happened to be just now after trying to login so many times.

I hope that something happens to the people responsible for this as an indirect outcome that leads to them losing everyone and everything they've ever loved and who has ever loved them, and all that remains is for them is a life of loneliness, grief and regret. Like some totally unforeseeable tragedy that comes out of this for them. Like if they did this on computer equipment belonging to their parents, they got sued by the corporations and their family becomes financially ruined as a result. May their last moments on this earth, whenever that should be, be filled with a lifetimes worth of terror and agony.

Ah well I guess I'll get back to watching some horror movies, I could use a good laugh today.

More to say than I though but you get the gist.

I had so many plans for today. I have to work all week and had the whole day to play today. I am almost done gathering my hero's accessories, leveling my choco to 10, colouring him red, and finishing my weaver today. All of it is almost done and I was out of game for like 3 months, so I was really excited to be caught up with my friends finally. Oh well.

And how exactly are they planning on ending greed? Every company there is tries to become richer, even health is a business, death is a business, no matter where you look, everything is a business. They don't want to make you happy, they make you happy so you make them happy with money.

I don't see any productive quality to this attack, all I see is cyber terrorism.

This guy with the lizard fetish must have been tricked by Microsoft into buying an Xbox One. My condolences to all those of you out there that are playing on the PSN.

iv been on for an hour and everything seems to be ok now {on my end} i hope Sony is getting this back up for all soon

I really wish they could make it so that you don't have to log onto psn to play. I mean, for ps3 users, it shouldn't be a big deal. For ps4 users, they could just use a check method where when you log in, it checks when your psn plus expires and place a marker and then allow you to log in until the marked date, updating each login with psn up.

Then have a say backup function for if the psn is down, to have it so that we don't need the psn to be up. Like have it so that normally it works how it already works, but when psn goes down, have it so that it switches to a backup system.

So much for hitting 50 on summoner today. -w-; Guess I'll play something else. I hope they get this fixed soon.

Wow now these fools are tweeting about bomb's on John Smedley's plane (head of Sony online entertainment..aka Planetside 2, H1Z1, DCUO, ect). Linking stuff like video from September 11th.

Hope the FBI get on these people fast for being waste of life.

NOTE: I am not saying this cause I want to play FFXIV...I was never effected in my area. So as long as I stay logged in, I think I am okay.

Yeah, they're not even hacking, it's a DDOS attack that only serves to inconvenience the users of the service and extremely annoying to people who only have one free day per week. Calling the actions of these morons "cyber terrorism" would be more of a compliment in their eyes than what they're doing, their actions are more like clogging a toilet. I hope they get caught and suffer serious repercussions, I see nothing funny or amusing in this.

I'm logged in on my PS3, but I have a bad habit of never turning it off so...I guess for DDoS attacks not logging out is good?

I also can't log into PSN, but I'm still in the game; didn't know that was possible.
