0/12 after a week of spamming fates, I've given up :P
Sorry I know you probably worked much harder than I did and put in much more time but for me a whole week spamming boring fates without 1 piece of progression is where I decide I could make better use of my time.
-
I'd say all of them to be frank. The one that consumed the most resources would probably be Upper La Noscea due to having to take Mimiroon's ferry back and forth to hit all the fates.
Also, I've been holding onto my twelve atma after getting them due to the fact I can't make up my mind on which weapon to use them on. Its sort of like once you've committed to a weapon, there really is no going back.
-
Outer La Noscea. Farmed that @#$$%$#@%$#@% thing every single day for at least an hour for three months straight. Said hell with it, I'd rather get a Levi weapon. Can't be arsed to give a rip about anything atma/novus now, and I was less than interested at the outset to begin with.
-
North Shroud ( Atma of the Archer) .
-
North Shroud - Atma of the Archer
dunno if it was because I spent a week only farming fates in North Shroud, or it was because it was the last one, and i was getting REALLY frustrated lol
also, THAT LV5 FATE AS A BLM.
a nightmare.
-
Atma of the water-bearer
Roughly 11 hours and counting. I'm only 2 in and I don't think I even want to bother anymore at this point.
-
All of them, hence my passive involvement in this quest line.
(Too time consuming, I got a life.)
-
I'd go for Outer La Noscea too. I had a week off, i (foolishly) decided to spend it farming my ATMA's. Spend something like 5-6 hours every day in Outer La Noscea to farm it up.
Some were pretty quick, some even came in quick succession, but Outer La Noscea... ugh. I guess it has something to do with the FATEs being higher in level, with fewer people around and that you dont breeze through them quite as easily as lower level things.
Now that i'm done, i can say it was worth it though. It's not a terrible system and it does make it doable for casual people too. It just takes a while.

Atma of the Scorpion in southern Thalanan....took me 36 hours, from late thursday to midday sunday....don't recall the amount of FATEs i did, but I capped my GC seals twice...
-
I'm going for my 2nd atma set even after promising myself never to do it again lool. Started on Thursday of last week and have 5 so far. I try to not stay in zones for too long maybe 1-2hrs then move to another if it hasnt dropped. OR take a break and play something else, then come back to it. That way you keep things fresh. The first time I did it tho...the Black Brush Station atma was giving me a hard time, but then I got lucky with my last 2 as they dropped 1st fate :)
-
Fish and Maiden was a pain for me both times... Goat I had problems with the first time, but second it came really fast.
-
Atma of the maiden I hate you so much but really did I mentioned that I hate atma of the maiden?!!!Took me 3 weeks farming 3 hours each day to get that stupid atma piece and it's funny because the OP said that the atma of archer was the worst and that one I got it on my second fate.
-
All of them >:( I do dozens of fates and minus the North Shroud and I forget where else, I haven't gotten another in 3 weeks now.
-
I'm well on my way to getting another set of Atma but for now my worst zone is still Upper La Noscea. I was there for at least 6 hours and worst of all I was a WHM =_=.
but thankfully I made it a goal to get Upper and Western La Noscea Atma first on my Monk for the 2nd set, lol. Western wasn't very nice, either.... Damn Beast Tribe bullshit area.

The bull, can't remember which Thanlan it was, but URG. I still can't go to Vesper Bay without my eye twitching.
