Seek Party Flag + /sea all command PLEASE!

Agreed, i do think party functionality is a must. Playing for hours solo is not fun to do.

Yesterday was tryin again... i have ppl of my LS with me... i just tried to search a guy that was in front of me..... didnt show him on search list at all... so WTF? System usefull and is broken too now???

Bump... I like how much the game is improving with more content and there fixing alot of stuff, theres actually more to do now then just SP or quest. im hoping they bring back the chocobo circuits as well as raising/racing and digging as this was my break from daily grind.

With that noted there gonna have to fix the invite system before they can start charging(knock on wood) but i always loved being able to find party's easily and talk with ppl outside of my LS or friends list. I miss it the most when i meet random ppl while doing a behest and we whined up doing leves and a lil grinding and have fun. it does seem like people are shouting more now then before for partys but its not like they have much of a choice. but then your stuck shouting or waiting for a shout instead of lvling your DoW, DoM, or DoL.

also people could leave ul dah, and LL/Grid would no longer just be aesthetically pleasing ghost towns.

Totally agree. If it isn't broken you can't fix it. You can play with it and possibly make it worse. But at best you'll achieve the same functionality using a different approach (2 different toasters that make the same waffles in the same amount of time). Why go through that hassle? FFXI party search is smooooth...

I think is ni need to hange th system for complete. Just a face-wash.

Make a icon flag for the seeking-for-group status. Add/change the options we have alrady for a simple generic ones. Seekng for party: 1. Skilling 2. Raid 3. Other (whit an space for text of player).

And when we need to search let us see ALL ppl. And let us choose what range of ranks we want look for

Does SE know how badly this is killing their game. I swear, even with all that sht that was broken, if they had a decent search system, people would have still been able to somewhat enjoy the fricken game. argh!

i think its something to do with mob distribution and there not ready to make it so easy yet. Or its that they've been busy with other stuff and forgot.

This game needs tools for party formation. Current tools are useless. I want to form and join parties. Please help me! Group content is not much use if I can't form a group.

I've played for a week now and have yet to group with a single person. The group search tool is really hard to use and inefficient.

This a vital feature that the game simply cannot function without.

We really need this one taken seriously, it's not a big change for that matter either, should be fairly easy to address!

It would be nice to have a party system rather than wasting anima to find players. If you want to run a dungeon most people are in uldah while the other two are empty. I have to camp the dungeon area to see if anyone is around who needs another member since I am low on anima. Stop making this game so complicated.

Chocobos and airships are on the way soon they say 1.19 which will be here by december im hoping and they will make things easier, i actually will stop playing when my anima gets low to let it go up again.

I think this thread is so important because they need to address it and it cant be that much more complicated then a /display feature that there putting in. Hell, just from posts in this thread and knowing from playing i think just a /sea all would do it for most ppl.

Hope they will plan it before... always if they are goin to implement a new system....

i also support this .. looking for a party was one of the first thing i tried in the beta and i noticed it wasnt working at all .. and its not working any better right now hehe ffxi's system worked great!

Would be nice to at least have XI's system for LFP. Although expanding on it to include any class you have that you wanna LFP on at the same time would be awesome I'm sure its possible and not rocket science.

The current system is just terrible

I'm not buying this game until they fix the party search function. This is the biggest gripe I have with this game right now.

Absolutely agree with u! I started at launch with collector edition.... was so... wth am i?! so i ranked up to 32.... just that... i was feelin so alone and in a beautiful and awesome,but without any kind of emotion, world. Came back to FF XI for some month... lvled to 90 etc... got new weapons and gears... then i came back.... well FF XIV was more good than month earlier.... but! wth is the LFG system??? (and yeah where are chocobos and airships too lol)... anyway im almost happy now.... but please at least give us the "/sea all" if u cant implement a "new system" now. hope this thread will be saw from someone of Dev Team...
Anyway i know this is the first year of a new game... so i dont throw a stone to the face of noone, im just surprised that after 8 years+ of an awesome hardcore epic romantic game like FF xi... u havent fixed this things from the start.
Btw u are doin good and i love FF XIV. Cant wait to see the diamond u have in your hands at 100% of its magnificence.

As i say from the start... that system is simply useless...

I agree and a option to display all jobs that been ranked so the player doesn't miss out on a potential party

I think they should have something like:

Looking for Party

Looking for leveparty

And you can search between the two

looking for party flag yes please can i have this

This thread and issue is starting to share the same cheek that keeps getting turned as the Linkshell Admin system expect SE touches base with the party system now and them

I'm still scratching my head in amazment that this was NOT implemented from the start...I mean HOW are we supposed to do ANYTHING without this convenient feature??
