The Hasty touch method got me 806 hq and 103 nq, just macroing it, not watching for specific excellent timings. (9999 shards makes 909 relish)
Only HQ Mat I used was Vinegar, because its easy enough to make ;o

My stats are at 404 / 394 / 372 (NQ Stone soup) or 381 (NQ Fish Soup) so if I did use a lot of HQ Bouillabaisse I could modify it for that extra CP probably

That method is reasonable IF it is your FC, and you aren't killing anyone else with the crafting buffs.

To get to iL75 tool, you will need to get the artisan spec, which pretty much is saying you will need to be able to craft the 2 star turn ins anyway. So, why not just get the iL70 first, since the process of getting 3 MCs and 10 FC IIIs is going to be a long road.

All I can say is, some are more lucky then I, and I have only gotten 8 FC3s out of 72 specs. Ggranted, 4 out of the last 17 after GSM hit 85 w 76% desyn rate.

With the new Ehcatl Smithing Gloves you can hit requirements (375 unbuffed control) without the FC buff with max melds.

If your ultimate end goal is to be a maxed out crafter you might as well skip that step.

This /was/ working until today, but the cost increased by 2 cp somewhere along the line and I can't figure out where. I was doing this without the additional great strides at step 10 and it took exactly 354 cp yesterday. Now it takes 356. Can anyone figure out why...?

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Trying to make HQ calibrated gold cogs with this rotation, my progress comes nowhere near completion. I have 448 craftsmanship, 410 control, and 352 CP unbuffed, 393 with HQ bouillabaisse. All DoH at 50.

Am I just bad at crafting? Probably.

You should probably re-read the OP again, but this is for the artisan tools, not the turn-ins for the 4 star books

Well i just wasted 1 mil+ in mats on this.. with inginuty 2 i only get 72 prgress, x4 = 288 of 445 required.. this doesnt work for artisan tools.. :(

Also using only HQ mats i ended up with 90% quality not quite 100%

These macros are not for 3 Star crafts, but for the token items you exchange for the i70 artisan gear / Artisan main-hand.
Also, you should really do your important crafts manually, even if you're just following a macro.
