Hello,
I sense that the Topic is getting off-topic
Please lets get back on Topic on Chocobo's be Implemented in 1.19
Thank You
Your Friend Starlord =)
Lets start guessing on what other types of mounts they will release, ill start with Dodo's and probably Drakes, but those will probably raise the bar too high, too early. What you guys think?
It IS It IS! I have no tolerance for people posting negativity all over the place because they can, and not actually thinking whether they should, if it's appropriate at that time and in this place. It's seriously bad manners that I'd like to make known is not appreciated. Unfortunately the only way to do that is interact with them for a few pages. (and before someone says I'm not as mod or the forum police, there's no one better to police themselves then the actual community, I'm not going to sit back and take that attitude.)
But yes back to mounts, I'm going to make everyone groan by hoping they have feral type of mounts XD and Before someone says oh noes W word, I've always loved tiger mounts since watching He-Man... So there!
I have one thing to say:
SHEEP MOUNT!
O.o
I want a unicorn too XD
Or better yet! Ixion.

I wanna ride a Galka
I'm not looking forward to this if it takes a whole Real Life month to raise a Chocobo :P. 15 days? maybe. But 30days was frustratingly long to do! And then if you didn't feed your bird everyday you missed out on maximizing your Chocobo's stats :P. And feedback about your progress is soooo vauge. It was all done in text feedback which is very subjective.
In other words I hope they do something different than what they did in XI :P. Because that system needed work.
Well I'm more then happy that we're getting chocobo raising, but I would hope it comes far down the line after housing, I'd like to be able to raise my chocobos and other animals in my house. :S Have a nice little ranch going or something.
If not well, maybe we'll get stables I guess.
A chocobo stable would be so cool.
I'm looking forward for chocobos.
But if they really implement different things like dodos, tigers or unicorns or if every Job has an own special animal, then i'm going to cancel mounting this SE's train of "making a new WOW game".
Make this game more Final Fantasy and not WoW
I like variety so long as it doesnt impinge on the artistic integrity of the world.
Like, for instance, so far we have only seen chocobos as a main source of transportation so anything other than Chocobos is kind of "eh?". If you get what I'm saying.
However, dragons and "magitek" (or something similar) do have their place in the world of Eorzea, so anything of that ilk will not make FFXIV too tacky. I should imagine anything SE chooses to implement will not be exceptionally gaudy and uglifying, but with Yoshi in-charge you never know.
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt but with words like "raid" and "questhub" being added to the otherwise sophisticated vocabulary of SquareEnix, I am not too confident.
Was there not also mention of glowing weapons?
Such things are really... what's the right word? Puke-making.
Stop trying to derail the thread. We are talking about chocobos and mounts, that other stuff was superfluous.
Kweh!!!!!!!
I know I'm excited to see Chocobos finally... but I can't help but wonder.
The way he said that he hopes this implementation will tide us over until he gets the other 2 pet/mount systems in place has me wondering how the Chocobos will be when we finally see them.
I'm thinking we might actually be disappointed in How they're implemented. We'll all love that they're there but I wonder if it will be like the NM's.
honestly i don't care how they get implemented. faster travel is faster travel.
It would be awsome if i could have a pack chocobo walking with me while I am harvesting on my DoL
I'm hoping the chocobo rentals work like in XI and we get to freely control them for a limited time. That or they will be on rails from one stable to another or to the city stables to the carriages we've seen scattered around, which would suck, but would be preferable to what we have now.
