Yes if course. In other MMORPGs you can still progress playing solo. You might miss out on some good stuff and it may take a lot longer, but its still doable.

In FFXIV its not.

What do you mean? What part of the game you feel like it should be solo? Most group quest that people are looking for are Primal/Coil/events. If you make those fight easy enough so one person can do it than whats the point

Yes, i'm unsubbing soon.

I don't mind the grind at all, in fact i love long term goals and slow progress. Makes me feel more involved with my character.

The reason why i'm unsubbing is i can't stand recycled content..

FATE is a horrible content mechanic. 90% of the ppl i play with agree that FATEs are bad and boring. Of all the forums post about how ppl hate FATEs they have to put more content into them.

I can think of 10 content/mechanic/design that would be better. If i can so does SE but they would rather keep their cash and not develop something new.

Dungeon spam is also boring/tedious. Making us run the same 10 dungeons over and over is again a cheap development process.

All in all i will be back if we see different content then FATES and dungeon spamming.

i just want them to fix the lag in the damn dungeons already...........also fates are the crux of many problems.
STOP USING FATES FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING THERE IS! we said like a jillion times. stop with the fates. lo and behold...more fates!!

The lag is unbearable now in EU.

I can't even do vanilla garuda!!!!

I'n standing behind the pillar for good 2 seconds but my char is still one shot by the scream!

I do not care if you have to cancel the next three patches but FIX THE EU LAG NOW!!!!!!
Just imagine how much of the content is completely unacessible to me now.
Meanwhile MH3U works without a hitch even when it requires twitch reflexes (unlike xiv).

WE NEED AN EU SERVER NOW!!!
