Except not everyone is going to have it. What percentage of players are actually going to be around/sub for a year? Not enough to "break the economy" with free teleports.

Players in possession of an aetheryte ticket when using Teleport will not incur a gil fee.
This item will be consumed upon use.
1 time use item , after player use it , he will tele w/o any fee . Think bout this item like minion or mount (have to use 1 time usable item for start using mount/minion at all)

If it permanently removed all teleportation costs, it would make the Free Company "Reduced Rates" buffs utterly worthless once you paid for that amount of time.

Well most Free Company actions are kind of useless already.

I don't believe this! its very easy to make gil for teleports everyday! no need for it in 360 days veteran rewards.. just give us fantasia or any other cool things.

I think this is probably most likely, but it contradicts other things in the game like Favorited Locations, Return and the Reduced Rates stuff, so it doesn't seem like it would make sense for it to be that as it makes those mechanics redundant.

The way it sounds to me is: "Once you use it, the item goes away" but the question becomes does it stay with you after that use or not. I say it will but with restrictions ( once per day or something).

It's funny to see how blindly optimistic people are regarding Square-Enix as if they had not been paying attention for the last 10 years. Anyone expecting it to be a permanent (or long term) free teleport are going to be severely disappointed. There's a good probability that it's going to be a stack of 10-50 single use tickets. That's how Squeenix operates.

Perhaps it'll allow you to be able to teleport to a second location free of charge. Kinda like a second home point.

Give us 5 fantasia potions instead of this stuff imo

Same could be said for other FC buffs like exp boost won't be needed once you have everyone at max level, no stat boost needed for low levels or no crafting stat boosts needed once you have the max gear + overmelds.

If you're a casual FC, chances are most of your players won't ever sub for one year. If you're a hardcore FC, then you need to use raid buffs like extended food duration and less duration on weaknesses. End of story.

According to the other language translations, you use the item once and teleport everywhere or free, forever. The English translation team is not-so-great.

Running each of the non-English versions through a translator, they all say the same thing.

You get a Free teleport while you have the Aetheryte Ticket in your ownership. Once you teleport, the ticket is consumed.

German one is real wonky, but gives a more detailed explanation of the tickets use.

Benefit players who have a teleport ticket that Ätherytennetz, the due Gil amount is not recovered. Instead, the ticket is consumed.
※ This item disappears after use


So the German version is more concrete than the English version that its 1 time use only.

People would not let their minds swell with ideas if SE only learned how to convey what they meant. Again someone who has been paying attention over the last 10 years would know SE is just PISS POOR at doing this.

I think this is the first time i am really disappointed here. What a bad item for a one-year membership. :(

if it's really a 50piece stack, the in game worth is around 30k gil (counting only 600gil teleports).
That means a Phantasia bottle is worth less than 30k gil in game.
That also means that the security token reward is much better.
Go figure.

Even 50 tickets is kind of meh.
It could be 1500 tickets for what I care, any consumable item as a special reward just feels stupid. It makes you not wanting to use them or you wo't have your special reward anymore.

Could you guys please reconsider this? Give us something different, something completely useless too, like dunno, an housing decoration/trophy, I don't care, but consumables are just plain silly :(

hmm.. think I'll stay on my monthly sub then if it's only 50 free teleports.

this dosen't matter 2.2 if you use secerity token teleports will be free anyway.

Perhaps it's an item on cooldown. You use it once and then have to wait 24 hours to reuse it again. But it lasts a lifetime.
Honestly that's the only way I can see this work in a good way. Because a one-time use is just pointless.

At least that clears things up. At least I can use them for all the teleports to far locations. Will probably last half a month or a full month in my hands lol.

Yoshi said he wanted the 360 days reward to be something special. An Odin minion and 50 free teleports doesn't feel very special to me :\

Yeah I feel the same way.. feels more like a free cash shop reward for spending over £50 xD

Well the Security Token is a better Reward, as you can change your free destination unlimited times.

This game is not a Christmas tree and we are not childs who feel entitled to cry over different present then expected.

Take it as a nice bonus, enjoy the game and stop the whining already.

You pay for this game because you play it and you like it. Not because of some stupid present waiting for you there.

Lets say there are very expensive teleports to some distant locations in near future and all of a sudden it doesn't look so stupid anymore.

Just don't call something stupid and don't jump to conclusions just because something is different then you expect.

I just have to say that if the point of the year reward is to be 'special'....this isn't it. 50 free teleports is something I won't even notice. Hell, I probably won't even bother taking up an inventory slot for it.
