wow! I forgot how crummy she looked back then... and how sassy she is now. XD

Besides, I don't remember much of her past, thanks to those really... really stupid fuckin'-RNG for more than half years spamming stupid iffy HM, and only get like 1 totem and 1 cnj cane only. ^^;

So there is no new look this patch, which is strange, perhaps they're changing it in 2.48 instead?

I think this was the first time they changed her looks in 2.x.
And I don't really expect her looks to change every patch, not even every major patch. Still, I'll keep an eye out when taking screenshots.

I wonder if Revenant's Toll will change in 2.5 instead this time, and it will be the final version of the town.

Personally, I'm hoping that it will continue to grow even in 3.0.
Maybe just little things, like more lavish buildings and such. But seeing it grow was amazing and I hope it will continue to grow and prosper.

I honestly believe that Revenants Toll will become it's own city throughout the coarse of the game, hell, Mor Dhona will more than likely end up with it's own leader of sorts. Minfillia or Alphinaud anyone?

An ex-friend told me that my idea wasn't going to happen, but if the expansion continues at this rate Mor Dhona will be on par with the other regions!!! MWuhahahaha.

These are all the photos I've found on the internet of Rowena's gearsets through the patches. Linky; I'll try to be diligent about saving photos of Rowena in the future and updating the album. I do need help figuring out when each 1.x update came with a Rowena clothes change though, so assistance is appreciated! Thanks GamerEscape for some of these.

I think it's great how Revenant's Toll continues to grow. I hope it eventually becomes one of the major cities like the three city states. It seems to be growing up rather than out.

I normally dont post in forums but just wanted to throw my 2 gil in...
I believe the expansion of RT will eventually lead up to turning into the entrance and area of the Gold Saucer. :p Who knows for sure though other than the devs.

I think it would be cool if it grew out to encompass the area of camp revenants toll

Well, that's the "shopping district" (or whatever we should call it) before it was built.
Sadly, I had the gui open there, but it's what I had and nothing "secret" was being said in the chat anyway :)

New patch notes indicate an upcoming Rev Toll expansion with 2.5. Get your screenshots in before patch!

"Additional buildings have been constructed in Revenant's Toll (X:21 Y:5) and (X:22 Y:5)"

That means Rowena's House of Splendors is getting some extra room (upstairs? :D). And it sounds like she has a new employee: Azena.

Where abouts do those co-ordinates lead? I'd look but I can't get on XIV right now lol.

Since this is potentially the last expansion to Rev Tol I'm hoping we may finally get access to that bridge network up above the town itself. The stairs to the left in Rowena's place seem to lead up there...

The left and right sides of the House of Splendors. Specifically, the room where you go for the Ixal quests and where you can get your augmented AF armour, and the closed stairways.

So it definatly sounds like the upstairs is finally opening up! I really hope we can explore upper Revenant's Toll.

They did? I've not done the new content yet but I wanna keep an eye out for that. Is it mentioned in the main storyline or a Hily quest or what?

They seem more like regular (guard)towers to me.
Most airship landings in the game look more like piers, just like you would expect for normal ships.

So apparently, if you hang around Rowena's cafe long enough, you will see some familiar faces.

I stuck around for over an hour but saw no-one. Going to finish my Hildy and Delivery Quests (just in case they have something to do with it), grab a whole bunch of crafting mats and try again.

They only show up during the day.

Awesome video, thanks for posting this. I have been observing all the changes myself, just wish I had taken some screen shots as well. I imagine some more startling changes will show up after 2.5.1 as they prepare for 3.0.
