Dungeon exp increase + Fate change did more harm then good.

I rarely wait longer than 20-30 mins as DPS. I've lvled two DPS classes completely through dungeons since the xp change and I love it. There's so much to do while waiting, like you said, guildleves, hunting logs, dailies, fate soloing, crafting, gathering, treasure hunts. I just don't understand the OP's complaints. He's blowing things WAY out of proportion. I have never once had an "INSANE" wait time for any queue as a DPS. I've also leveled a healer solely through dungeons, and you know what, the queue times for healer and DPS are pretty much identical. Just a FYI. The only people who instaqueue are tanks, and even they have to wait a while sometimes. I know I have on my WAR. I even waited 30 mins on WAR once or twice. I don't get what the OP is even complaining about. Wait times happen, if you're not prepared to put up with them, find another game that doesn't have them, if you can.

Just because some of you never had long DPS wait times doesn't mean nobody else does. I personally have to wait over 30 minutes regularly to get into Haukke Manor/Thousand Maws to level my Lancer/Pugilist. Reputation quests are already finished. Hunting logs already finished. All crafts are 50. The only thing I'd do outside is grind my chocobo which I can't even do.

This is true. There's also people leaving a dungeon. If you are missing a tank or maybe a healer then you'll have to wait for them to be replaced. This may be worse in harder dungeons/trials.

And in my experience, the healer queues are much shorter than DPS queues. I got Scholar and White Mage to 50 over the past few weeks and the queue times were maybe 15-20min tops, but usually under 10 minutes. Working on Pugilist and Lancer right now and the queue times are 15 minutes if I'm lucky, and over 25 minutes frequently.

You say you want tanks to learn how to group in dungeons before 50- that's great, and I agree... except groups don't tolerate tanks learning very well... if you make a mistake they berate you and make fun of you. Great learning experience.

I did roulette for bonus once a day in in progress dungeons, hit Ifrit/Garuda/Titan when I could for single kill exp bonus, then switched to fates, where there wasn't tank abuse.

my dps queue times are <10 minutes, and on top of that I finish the instance much faster going as smn instead of sch

meanwhile there is a tank in my static that always laments about how they can't complete the daily roulette because of bad dps

so I guess my point is stop sucking at dps and maybe people will queue as tank/healers
