Actually, yeah, that does make sense in that instance, I've seen that happen before.

The thing with greed only groups is usually, someone on the team is playing a job other than what they would usually be playing for the sake of filling the spot so that the team can get going. I don't join any PF "greed" groups, but we use the greed technique in my FC if we need a job filled. We use it with only other FC members and trusted LS friends.

Say all you need is a tank, and your friend who usually plays black mage brings their i90 tank. If other casters are on the team, we ask them to roll greed along with the friend who went tank mode. This grouping strategy only works well with people who trust each other. You do this on PF and you're bound to get a "my mouse slipped" or whatever reason someone gives for not doing what they agreed to at the beginning of the team.
